Cabbage maintains a nice crunch when it's tossed with an easy dressing in this simple cabbage salad recipe. This easy salad is perfect for fall when cabbage is at its sweetest.

Simple Cabbage Salad

lemon juice

olive oil

flat-leaf parsley

Dijon mustard

honey

garlic powder

salt

½ teaspoon ground pepper

green cabbage (from 1 small head)

Whisk&nbsp;lemon juice, oil, parsley, mustard, honey, garlic powder, salt and pepper together in a large bowl. Add cabbage and toss to coat; let stand for 10 minutes. Toss again; serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 1 hour before serving.


Great salad! Even my picky creamy coleslaw loving husband enjoyed it. I did use a bag of pre-shredded cabbage to save some time. I also used 2 tsp of dried parsley rather than fresh.

I think the recipe is way too extensive and far from 'simple'.On the other hand, my recipe is simple and easy.Ingredients are based on the amount of cabbage you grate.Add sugar accordingly along with mayonnaise.Stir to mix and let sit while you prepare your meal.A winner every time, and Simple!

This is a quick and easy to make side. It will be great during the grilling season. We really enjoyed it with our pork. Thank you for sharing this recipe.
