Step 1
Prep ribs by removing membrane and cutting into 3-4 sections.
Step 2
Mix brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, cumin and salt.
Step 3
Rub ribs with season mixture.
Step 4
Pour water into bottom of slow cooker. Place ribs inside slow cooker.
Step 5
Secure lid then set slow cooker to low for 6-8 hours or high 3-4 hours.
Step 6
Transfer ribs to a greased rimmed baking sheet. Slather your favorite bbq sauce over the ribs, top and bottom.
Step 7
Broil High on the middle rack for 5-10 minutes. Keep a close eye to remove before sauce burns.
