Step 1
Mix the shrimps in beaten egg then dip each shrimp in tapioca starch. Place them in a parchment paper-lined fryer basket without stacking then spray some oil onto the shrimp. Air fry at 400F (200C) for about 8 minutes, flip once.
Step 2
In the meantime, take a saucepan and saute the garlic and onion in sesame oil. When fragrant and onion tuned translucent, add in all the other ingredients (except green onion). Constantly stirring the sauce until it thickens.
Step 3
When the shrimps are done, toss the shrimps and the green onions in the sauce and serve immediately.
