Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, 1 tsp Italian seasoning, and ¾ tsp garlic powder. Add the yogurt and stir with a wooden spoon until just combined. Knead the dough in the bowl with your hands until smooth, 1 to 2 minutes. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface; roll into a 10 x 8–inch rectangle. Cut the dough crosswise into 8 equal strips. Place the strips on the prepared pan, and gently twist each one.
Step 3
Combine the oil, remaining ½ tsp Italian seasoning, and remaining ¼ tsp garlic powder in a small cup; brush gently over the breadsticks. Sprinkle the breadsticks evenly with the cheese. Bake at 375°F until golden brown, 18 to 20 minutes.
