This Easy Instant Pot Goulash is a one pot meal. Ground beef, spaghetti sauce, diced tomatoes, onion, garlic and macaroni noodles. All topped with cheese!

INSTANT POT GOULASH (WITH GROUND BEEF)

lb beef

onion, (finely diced)

green pepper, (diced (optional))

garlic, (minced)

tomatoes

(24 oz) jar spaghetti sauce

water

Italian seasoning

salt and pepper, (to taste)

(16 oz) box macaroni noodles ((3 cups))

cheddar cheese, (for topping)

In a 6.5-quart electric pressure cooker, press the sauté option and put on high.

Brown and crumble the ground beef along with the diced onion and green pepper.

If the beef produces a lot of grease, then drain. If not, then there is no need.&nbsp;

Stir in minced garlic. Turn off sauté setting.&nbsp;

Pour in diced tomatoes, spaghetti sauce, water and Italian seasoning.&nbsp;

Finally, stir in macaroni noodles. Seal the lid, then turn the pressure release valve to "Sealing"

Set pressure cooker on high for 5 minutes. Once finished, do a quick pressure release (carefully turn the pressure release valve to venting)

Open lid and stir mixture. Serve in a bowl topped with shredded cheddar cheese or grated Parmesan cheese.&nbsp;

This skillet meal is perfect for weeknight dinners—it's beefy, creamy and cheesy and packed with tomatoes and macaroni--and everyone will ask for seconds!

Heat 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat; add beef and onion. Cook 7 to 9 minutes, stirring frequently, until beef is brown; drain, and return to skillet. Add garlic; cook about 1 minute or until garlic is fragrant. Stir in broth, tomato sauce, tomatoes, Italian seasoning, paprika and pepper. Heat to simmering, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 20 minutes or until slightly thickened.

Stir in macaroni; cover and cook 16 to 18 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender. Stir in cream cheese until completely melted, about 3 minutes. Sprinkle with shredded cheese; top with crushed croutons.

Instant Pot Goulash {30 Minute One Pot Meal}

any stock/broth (low sodium)

13 oz elbow macaroni (I use whole wheat)

28 oz can diced tomatoes (low sodium)

tomato sauce (low sodium)

cheddar or marble cheese (shredded)

Press Saute on 6 or 8 quart Instant Pot and wait until display says Hot. Takes about 4-5 mins.

Add ground meat and cook until small pieces, breaking with spatula constantly. Instant Pot doesn&#039;t really brown the meat and it doesn&#039;t have to be cooked through. Press Cancel.

Add onion, garlic, rosemary, garlic and onion powders, smoked and regular paprika, salt, pepper, bay leaves, soy sauce, stock, pasta, diced tomatoes and tomato sauce. Do not stir.

Close the lid, set valve to Sealing and press Pressure Cook on High or Manual for 4 minutes.

After, release pressure using Quick Release by turning valve to Venting right away after cooking.

Open the lid, add cheese and stir well.

Serve warm.

Add textured vegetable protein (TVP) to a mixing bowl. Pour boiling hot vegan beef stock (or vegetable stock) over the top.

Stir it in well with a fork. Leave it to sit for 5-10 minutes.

Add chopped onions and olive oil to a large pot on medium heat and sauté until the onions are softened.

Add crushed garlic, dried basil, dried oregano, dried parsley, dried rosemary, dried thyme, garlic powder and red pepper flakes and sauté for a minute to lightly toast the spices.

Add the prepared textured vegetable protein (TVP) and mix it in. Sauté for about 10 minutes until the TVP is lightly browned.

Add marinara sauce, vegan beef stock, canned chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, chopped green bell pepper and bay leaves and mix in.

Bring to a simmer, then reduce the heat to medium low and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add elbow macaroni (uncooked) and continue to simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender (about 20 minutes).

Remove and discard the bay leaves.

Add light brown sugar (for flavor balance) and mix it in.

Turn off the heat, add vegan cheese to the top, and cover with a lid. Let it rest, covered for 5 minutes.

When the vegan cheese is melted, stir it gently and then add sea salt and ground black pepper to taste.

Serve topped with fresh chopped parsley.

Heat large Dutch oven over medium high heat. Add the beef, and brown for 10 minutes, breaking up with the back of your wooden spoon as you stir. Add the onion and bell pepper and continue to cook, while stirring, until tender, about 5 minutes.

Add all the remaining ingredients, except the macaroni, and cover with a lid, and simmer for 20 minutes.

Stir in the macaroni, cover with the lid, and simmer for another 15-20 minutes until pasta is tender. Remove from heat

Let mixture stand for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with a green salad and garnish with fresh parsley.

This easy, one-pot American Goulash (aka Beefaroni) is the epitome of comfort food and a meal the entire family will love! It starts with a flavorful homemade meat sauce, then macaroni noodles cooked in the sauce, and finished with a sprinkle of cheese.

American Goulash (Beefaroni)

EACH garlic powder, and paprika

tsp EACH dried oregano and, chili powder

tomato paste

low-sodium beef broth (, divided)

elbow noodles ((8 oz), uncooked)

Heat a large skillet with sides, over medium heat. Add oil. Once hot, add onion and saute for several minutes into tender and translucent. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

Push onion to the side and add ground beef and season well with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, crumbling it into very small pieces as it cooks. Add all dry spices and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Stir in the tomato paste, tomato sauce, sugar, Worcestershire and 1 ½ cups beef broth. Simmer on low for 15-20 minutes. Taste and add additional seasonings, if needed.

Add additional 3/4 cup broth and uncooked pasta. Cook until pasta is tender. Stir in freshly grated cheese and allow to melt. Serve immediately.
