Asian Garlic Noodles is a quick and easy 20-minute noodle stir-fry that&#039;s made using your favorite noodles in a delicious sauce made with garlic, butter, soy sauce, and parmesan cheese. Perfect for anyone who loves garlic!

Asian Garlic Noodles

Asian style noodles (see notes)

oyster sauce

soy sauce

soy sauce ((optional))

fish sauce

Worcestershire sauce

sesame oil

brown sugar

white pepper

unsalted butter

garlic

Parmesan cheese (grated)

red chili flakes (optional)

sesame seeds (to garnish (optional))

Cook noodles or pasta to al dente according to package instructions (cooking time will vary). When the noodles are soft, reserve 1 cup of the boiling noodle water and strain. Rinse the pasta with cold water. Set aside.

Combine the oyster sauce, soy sauce, dark soy sauce, fish sauce, Worcestershire sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and white pepper in a small bowl. Whisk to combine and set aside.

Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant - approximately 30-60 seconds. Add the prepared sauce to the garlic butter and mix well to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.

Add the cooked noodles to the simmering sauce. Gently toss to combine. Remove from heat.

To thicken the sauce, add some of the reserved noodle water until desired consistency is reached. If the sauce becomes too thick, add some water, vegetable broth, or chicken broth, as needed.

Sprinkle with the grated parmesan cheese, green onions, and red chili flakes. Gently mix to combine.

Best served immediately.

Garlic Chili Noodles

11 oz Dried Ribbon Noodles(300 grams) ((Note1))

1½ Tbsp Cooking Oil ((Note2))

½ Cup Scallion(white part) (thinly sliced)

¼ Cup Vegetable Broth(low-sodium)

Tbsp Light Soy Sauce ((Note4))

Tbsp Dark Soy Sauce

Tbsp Chinese Black Vinegar ((Note5))

Tbsp Korean Chilli Powder/Flakes ((Note6))

¼ Cup Scallion(green part) (thinly sliced)

Tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds

Chilli Flakes (optional)

1. Heat a small frying pan( my frying pan is 6″/18cm diameter) over very low heat. Add cooking oil along with thinly sliced scallion( white part) and minced garlic. Sauté for 5 minutes on very low heat and constantly stir. (we don’t want to burn them, if you see they start burning, turn the heat lower)

2.Turn on the kettle with water for the noodles. After sautéing our aromatics for 5 minutes, we add vegetable broth, light and dark soy sauce, black vinegar, and Korean chilli powder/flakes( Gochugaru) into the sauce pan and stir. Turn the heat up to medium-low and let the sauce simmer away for 5 minutes without a lid on. (If you sauce is ready but the noodles are not ready yet, just turn off the heat and leave the sauce on the stove).

3. Meanwhile , we gonna cook dried noodles while the sauce is simmering. Cook the noodles in a pot according to package instruction.

4. Drain the noodles very well then pour the garlic chilli sauce over and mix well until the noodles are well coated with the sauce. Finish with more scallion(green part), toasted sesame seeds, and more chilli powder/flakes. Serve when hot and enjoy!

Garlic Chilli Noodles

Vietnamese Garlic Noodles, or Mì Xào Tỏi, are the ultimate side dish! Plump chewy noodles are coated in a buttery, garlicky, umami-rich sauce that enhances any dish it&#39;s paired with. It&#39;s a crowd favorite for a reason!

Vietnamese Garlic Noodles (Mì Xào Tỏi)

lb refrigerated lo mein noodles ((see notes))

garlic (minced)

tsp oyster sauce

soy sauce (I recommend low sodium)

tsp fish sauce

tsp white granulated sugar

Parmesan cheese

onion

Salt and pepper (to taste)

In a small bowl, whisk together oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Set aside.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Have it boiling and ready while you work on the sauce.

In a large skillet or wok, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant, stirring often. Make sure to not brown the garlic, you just want it lightly cooked.

Drop the noodles into the boiling water. Lightly agitate the noodles to separate them but don&#39;t overwork and break them. Boil for 30 seconds maximum, then use tongs to quickly transfer the noodles to the garlic butter.

Give the sauce a whisk and add to the noodles in the skillet, making sure to get all the sugar. Lightly season the noodles with salt and pepper, then toss and stir to evenly coat the noodles in the sauce.

Turn off the heat. Add the Parmesan cheese and green onion. Toss to combine and season to taste.

15 Minute Garlic Noodles

oz spaghetti (can sub any noodles you like)

butter oil

garlic cloves, finely chopped

scallions, chopped

sesame seeds & chili flakes to garnish (optional)

tsp sesame oil

tbsp oyster sauce (or vegetarian oyster sauce)

tbsp honey (can sub agave

tsp sriracha

Cook the spaghetti according to package directions. 

Heat the olive oil in a skillet then turn the heat to medium-low and add the garlic and scallions. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant. 

Add the spaghetti and stir-fry sauce and mix together until combined. 

Optionally top with sesame seeds and chili flakes and serve.

This recipe is super easy and delicious. I used flat brown rice noodles,  but you can really use anything you have on hand. Paired it with some stir fried veggies and tofu, so great and quick :)

This was delicious!  I forgot to add the agave nectar or honey, but we had some aloha sausages that have pineapple in them so that added a touch of sweetness to the dish.    We had some leftover multi grain angel hair pasta  in the fridge ( I usually cook up a big pot of pasta that is only seasoned with salt and then we keep it in the fridge to use as we want)  so that's what I used.        My husband had two helpings!!  We plan to make this often and change up the proteins and add some other veggies.  But it's so good on it's own - thanks for the recipe!

Really enjoyed this recipe, simple and easy to make.  My family members really enjoyed it including my sister who doesn't necessarily float to Asian cuisine, she said it felt like eating in an Asian restaurant, it was that good. Everyone in my family loved this dish! I doubled the recipe using brown rice Pad Thai noodles, broccoli, and carrots. I steamed my broccoli and carrots in the microwave while the noodles cooked. Then I made my sauce in a non stick pan. I tossed the noodles and veggies together in the sauce. I probably could have quadrupled the sauce ratio because the noodles soaked most of it up but it was still very tasty. Thank you for the recipe!

Delicious delicious delicious. I don't normally follow a recipe to the letter but with this one I did (mainly because of the stir fry sauce) but I made one exception by adding mushrooms. I made this for me and my 2 younger siblings!! They rated it 4 &amp; 4.5 stars. It wasn't too complicated to make, although I used 2 tbsp of sesame oil and 1 tbsp of siracha. I would totally make this again!!

Instant Pot Garlic Noodles are so easy to put together and super yum. You can make these on any busy weekday too.

Instant Pot Garlic Noodles Recipe

Spaghetti (or use fettuccine

tbsp Cooking Oil

Garlic (finely chopped)

Bell peppers (thinly sliced)

Water

tbsp Soy Sauce

tbsp Vegetarian Hoisin Sauce (see notes for substitute)

tbsp Sriracha or any Asian Hot Sauce

To Taste Salt & Pepper

Place the Instant Pot Liner inside the 6 quart Instant Pot and plug it in. Break 1 lb spaghetti or fettuccine into halves. Add these to the inner pot in a matted order or fan order. Check this you-tube from my channel to watch how I place my noodles in the IP. Add 4 cups of water and Pressure cook on high followed by QPR. For this recipe you want al-dente noodles. My packet read 8-10 minutes on gas top. I cooked for 3 minutes followed by QPR which takes about 2 minutes. Therefore the noodles get about 5 minutes in cooking including the pressure release time. Drain the spaghetti and separate the noodles with a fork. Set aside. Wipe the bottom of the Inner Pot with Kitchen Towel. Put it back inside the instant pot.

Cooking Spaghetti in IP

Press Saute and set on medium. When the screen displays HOT, add oil to it. After few seconds, add chopped garlic and saute for a 30-45 seconds till garlic brown nicely. Add bell peppers and saute further for 1 minute. Now add Soy Sauce, Vegetarian Hoisin Sauce-, Sriracha, Salt and Pepper. Give a good stir with a stirrer. Now add the cooked spaghetti (noodles of your choice) back to the pot. Add chopped scallions. Give it all a good toss using the tongs. Sprinkle sesame seeds and serve warm.

Cooking Noodles in Garlic Sauce

Place the Instant Pot Liner inside the 6 quart Instant Pot and plug it in. Press Saute and set on medium. When the screen displays HOT, add oil to it. After few seconds, add chopped garlic and saute for a 30-45 seconds till garlic brown nicely. Add bell peppers and saute further for 1 minute. Now add Soy Sauce, Vegetarian Hoisin Sauce-, Sriracha, Salt and Pepper. Give a good stir with a stirrer. Cancel Saute. Add the spaghetti to the pot on top of the sauces. Add 4 cups of water/broth and Pressure cook on high for 4 minutes. Follow QPR. Open the lid. Separate the noodles with a fork. Add scallions and sesame seeds and toss together with tongs. Serve warm.

1 step Garlic Noodles in IP

This recipe can easily be made on gas -top. Boil the pasta separately and drain. Saute the garlic and add sauces followed by boiled pasta. Toss it all together.  If you are using any vegetables then you will add those after sauteeing the garlic. Finish with the garnish and serve hot.

Garlic Noodles with Shrimp

spaghetti

lbs raw shrimp

salted butter

tbsp fish sauce

tbsp oyster (flavored) sauce

pasta water

Bring water to boil in a large pot, cook spaghetti noodles accordingly to package instructions.

While noodles cook, heat a large skillet with cooking oil under medium heat. Pat dry defrosted shrimp and sear shrimp for a few minutes on each side until shrimp is fully cooked (turn pink/orange, and curls). Avoid overlapping shrimp when searing - cook in two batches if needed. When shrimp is cooked, remove shrimp promptly from skillet.

Add butter to skillet, followed by minced garlic, fish sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Stir to combine.

Add 1/4 cup of pasta water to garlic sauce. Stir to combine. Remove skillet from heat.

Drain pasta and add pasta to sauce. Toss pasta in sauce.

Add shrimp, and toss pasta and shrimp in sauce.

Garnish with green onions. Serve and enjoy!

This recipe was delicious!  I added broccoli, peppers and mushrooms, and cooked before the shrimp, as was suggested.  I made a little extra sauce, because of the veggies.  I also added a couple shakes of sriracha, because we like spicy, but the sauce itself had such a great flavor and it made the noodles seem silky (maybe because of the butter?). Boil spaghetti. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Boil the spaghetti al dente according to the package instructions. Save 1/4 cup of pasta water.

Saute the sauce. In a large skillet over medium-low heat, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Saute the garlic until golden brown and fragrant about 3-4 minutes. Then stir in the oyster sauce, fish sauce, maggi seasoning (or soy sauce), sesame oil, msg, and brown sugar. Stir until combined. Add the green onion and saute for 30 seconds or until lightly wilted.

Add the pasta. Toss the pasta in the sauce and add the freshly grated parmesan cheese. Add 1-2 tablespoons of pasta water if the sauce is too thick. Remove from heat and serve. Enjoy!
