Sweet Sriracha Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Brussels sprouts, halved lengthwise

olive oil

salt

Splenda® Monk Fruit Granulated Sweetener

sriracha sauce

Dijon mustard

garlic, grated

Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil and salt. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange Brussels sprouts so they are cut-side down in a single layer.

Roast sprouts for 20 minutes, until dark brown on the edges and fork-tender.

Mix together Splenda Monk Fruit Sweetener, sriracha, Dijon, and garlic. Remove sprouts and pour on sriracha sauce, tossing sprouts in the sauce. Make sure they are spread back into a single layer and put them back in the oven for 5 more minutes. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Healthy Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Brussels sprouts (organic)

garlic powder

sea salt

avocado oil

lemon wedge

Wash

Soak or wash Brussels sprouts.  In a bowl with water or under running water. Take off any dark leaves.

Pre-heat

Towel dry the sprouts before cutting and seasoning.

Trim and half. Remove the bottom part with a knife and half the sprouts, one by one. Save the loose leaves.

Season

Season. In a bowl, mix de sprouts, oil, garlic powder and salt. Do it carefully to avoid loosing leaves.

Arrange

Arrange the halved sprouts on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Leave some room between them.

Bake

Bake at 450ºF (225ºC) for 25 minutes or until you see they are golden enough for your liking.

Serve

Serve. Add pepperoncino to make it spicy and lemon zest if you like an acid note
