The recipe below is an Italian inspired butter board that I know you’ll love. Like all of my recipes, this gourmet board is high quality and super special without the specialty food price tag. All of the elements can be purchased at your everyday grocer.

Italian Inspired Butter Board

½ Pound Unsalted Butter softened

½ Teaspoon Flaky Sea Salt

Head Roasted Garlic

¼ Cup Green Olives sliced

¼ Cup Roasted Red Peppers diced

Teaspoons Basil minced, (mixed with olive oil)

Slices Baguette (warmed)

Let butter sit out on the counter for around 30 minutes to soften.

Spread the butter over your favorite serving board. Use the knife to make small swirls for visual appeal.

Then sprinkle evenly with sea salt.

Finally, add your toppings and serve with bread and crackers.

A simple and delicious Butter Board Recipe! We top ours with garlic chips, fresh herbs, fragrant citrus zests, crushed nuts, sea salt flakes, and a generous honey drizzle! We love serving it with crusty bread and radishes!

Butter Board Recipe

olive oil

garlic cloves

(2 sticks) high quality, unsalted butter (cold softened)

chives

dill sprigs

orange, zested

lemon, zested

sea salt flakes

red pepper flakes

honey, for drizzling

Place a skillet over medium heat and add oil.

Once oil is hot add sliced garlic and fry for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Stir and flip garlic slices to fry on other side for an additional 30 seconds. Remove from heat and drain onto paper towels.

Spread cold softened butter onto a wooden board.

Top with crushed nuts, herbs, citrus zest, pepper flakes (if using), a good drizzle of honey and a generous sprinkle of sea salt flakes.

Serve with toasted bread and radishes.

Spread butter on wooden charcuterie board. Butter should be soft but not melted. Apply in swirls to add visual appeal.

Optional: Use parchment paper if you don’t want to get your board dirty.

Sprinkle flakey sea salt on butter.

Layer selected toppings on butter.

Serve with bread or crackers.

Green Apple Slices

Spread your creamy peanut butter onto the center of the serving or wooden cutting board.Use your favorite peanut butter as long as it&#39;s not too runny, just the right thickness for dipping the apple slices.Leave some room on the sides as it may spread as you add toppings. It all depends how thick your peanut butter is. Make sure not to cover the entire board also, as to leave space for the apple slices.Using a butter knife, swirl the peanut butter into a back-and-forth pattern across the board. Sprinkle chopped peanuts on top of the peanut butter.Sprinkle mini chocolate chips as the next layer onto the peanut butter.Using a spoon, lightly drizzle your favorite caramel sauce in a back-and-forth pattern across the top. Add sliced green apples to the serving board. Dip and scoop in one motion and enjoy! You&#39;re going to want to double dip, don&#39;t do it, just scoop enough on the first go. Tip: Don&#39;t cut your green apple slices until just before serving to avoid them browning.

Allow the butter to soften by coming to room temperature, (do not melt the butter), then stir in a bowl to loosen it so that it’s spreadable.

Spread the butter, making a swirl pattern if you’d like on a small serving board, spreading it over the entire surface.

Add the strawberries, blueberries, and walnuts on top of the butter. Garnish with mint leaves and flaky sea salt followed by a drizzle of honey.

Serve immediately with warm bread.
