Baked brie is always a delicious appetizer option. I love the use of a pizza crust in this recipe rather than crescent dough or puff pastry. It makes this baked brie a bit more rustic. We added the Grand Mariner to the apricot preserves and it was a great topping. The preserves are sweet and you taste a hint of the orange liquor and pair delightfully with the creamy brie. This will definitely be a hit whenever you serve it.

We totally get what Deb means by the pecans on the outside of a cheese ball getting soggy. This cheese ball spread is so creamy and delicious, you'll never miss the pecans. It's savory from the cheddar and cream cheese. But, pineapple gives the dip a pop of sweetness. All of the other ingredients round out the flavors and make this very addictive. If you want a bit of heat, add your favorite hot sauce or jalapenos. The perfect appetizer for any occasion.

I Could Have Been a Cheese Ball, but the Pecans Let Me Down...

Let's hear it for horseradish! This often-overlooked flavor is a pure delight in this easy-to-make dip recipe. If you're not a big fan of horseradish, this may not be for you. If you love horseradish, though, it's full of its potent flavor. This does make a lot of dip so, if you're not serving a crowd (or taking it to a party), the recipe can be cut in half. Dip into chips or fresh veggies for a fantastic party snack.

Dear friend of mine used to make this crab ball for our get togethers.
I made for a friend to bring to Her office party. But I added artichokes just for a twist! With the marinate in the artichokes You dont need to many more spices.

- small pack imatation crab (about cup)

jar(s) artichokes

- cream cheese, room temperature (8 ounces)

worcestershire sauce (few dashes)

teaspoon(s) celery salt

teaspoon(s) pepper

Best Pimento Cheese Recipe

2.5 Cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar

Add all ingredients in a large bowl, stir until well combined.

Serve as a sandwich between 2 slices of white bread, or serve as a dip with crackers or vegetables.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to one week.

I love this recipe! I have made it 6 times and is always a hit with my guests and husband!

Real Southern pimento cheese always uses just a little sugar -  maybe a teaspoon. Also  try to use Duke's brand mayo if you can find it for authenticity.

🎄🎄Cut washed/dried (paper towel )  Celery sticks , ahhh like 1 inch or a little longer………and fill them with the Pimento Cheese ………finger food with a dinner or snack by themselves……… SO YUMMY ☃️☃️

I had to add extra mayonaise, cheese, and a bit of sugar to cut the salty taste.  I know almost everyone loves this, but I would cut out the regular salt and only add the celery salt.

My tiropita are delicious, savory, cheesy phyllo triangles that are also known as Greek cheese pies. They make the perfect appetizer, finger food, or snack!

Tiropita

feta cheese (crumbled)

whole milk ricotta

eggs (lightly beaten)

black pepper

dill (chopped)

phyllo dough

unsalted butter, (melted)

Mash feta (1 pound) with a fork breaking up larger clumps. Blend both kinds of cheese until smooth. Add eggs (3), black pepper (1/4 teaspoon), dill (3 tablespoons), and 1 tablespoon of melted butter.

Preheat oven to 375°F (191°C).

Place 2 sheets of phyllo, one on top of the other. Brush with melted butter. Cut into strips. (I split the smaller width of the phyllo into equal thirds. )

Place 2 tablespoons of filling at bottom of each strip. Fold flag fashion from bottom to top. Place seam side down on a buttered cookie sheet. Butter tops. Bake at 375°F (191°C) for 6-8 minutes or freeze on the cookie sheet and cook in an oven preheated to 375°F for 12-15 minutes.

This is a nice cheese ball that's full of all kinds of textures and flavors. The crushed pineapple gives it a slightly sweet flavor. We used red bell pepper to make it look more festive when mixed with the green onions. Pecans inside the cheese ball and coated on the outside give this appetizer a nuttiness. Everyone is going to love this!
