Fill a wide, high-sided skillet with 2 inches (5 cm) of water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Line a bamboo steamer with parchment paper and cut slits in it to allow steam to escape.

Meanwhile, gently roll out the biscuits into 3-inch (7.62 cm) rounds. If desired, use a cutter or glass to cut out uniform circles, discarding the scraps. Spray the biscuits with nonstick spray and fold in half.

Set the steamer basket over the boiling water. Add the biscuits to the basket, spacing evenly. Cover and steam for 5–7 minutes, until cooked through and puffed.

Gently transfer the buns to a wire rack to cool slightly.

Fill each bun with pickled vegetables, a slice of pork belly, cilantro, and mint.

Cheeseburger Bombs

yellow onion, (finely diced)

hamburger seasoning

salt

black pepper

dill pickle

(56.5 g) sharp cheddar cheese, (shredded)

(8-count) refrigerated biscuits, (not flaky)

(½ stick / 57 g) unsalted butter, (melted)

garlic powder

fry sauce, (for dipping)

Preheat oven. Spray oven-safe skillet with nonstick cooking spray?

Preheat the oven to 375°F. Spray a 10-inch oven-safe skillet with nonstick cooking spray.

Cook ground beef and onion. Add seasonings.

In a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion, breaking up the beef as it cooks. Once the beef starts to brown, add the hamburger seasoning, seasoned salt, and black pepper. Continue cooking until the beef is fully browned and no longer pink. Remove from heat. Drain any excess grease if necessary, and set aside.

Flatten each biscuit.

Remove the biscuits from the can and place them on a clean work surface. Using a rolling pin, flatten each biscuit into a 5-inch circle about ⅛-inch thick.

Add cheese, beef, and pickles to each biscuit.

Add 1 tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese to the center of each flattened biscuit. Top with about ⅓ cup of the ground beef mixture and, if using, 1 tablespoon of diced pickles.

Pinch edges. Place in skillet.

Carefully pinch the edges of the biscuit together to seal the filling inside. Place the sealed biscuits, seam-side down, into the prepared oven-safe skillet, evenly spaced.

Mix melted butter with garlic powder. Brush over top.

In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder. Brush the tops of the biscuits with the garlic butter. Then, sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Bake.

Bake for 23-25 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.

If you love all the flavors of a classic cheeseburger with all the fixings, you will absolutely LOVE these Cheeseburger Bombs. Made with crescent dough, these are made in a muffin tin and feature ground beef, and classic burger toppings.

tube crescent rolls (extra large size)

lb. 80/20 ground beef (seasoned, cooked, and drained.)

cheddar (cubed)

pickle chips

tbsps. minced onion

tbsps. ketchup

tbsps. mustard

Cook hamburger meat with seasonings. We used salt and pepper. Make sure to drain any excess grease, and set aside.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Prep all the toppings so they are ready to evenly distribute.

Unwrap the crescent roll tube and separate the triangles.

Fill each with an even amount of meat, cheese, onion, pickle, and condiments.

Fold over the triangle to seal the top. It is okay if there are open spots because the dough will rise and fill them up.

Sprinkle each with sesame seeds.

Bake for 15-17 minutes. Cheeseburger Bombs will be a deep golden brown color and will feel firm and not doughy when done.

Thank you ! Awesome recipe, my picky family loves them. I did half regular and half mushroom and swiss. So yummy!!!!!!

Much better than other recipes which call for onion soup mix which contains MSG. I love that these can be made ahead and with my families crazy schedule they can grab and go when needed, great for game days and for a sit down dinner, goes great with baked beans and roasted potatoes. Thanks for sharing.

These look amazing! I can't wait to try the recipe. Thank you for sharing!
