I thawed out chicken legs by accident and I had to work so I did a search and happened onto this recipe. I am seldom impressed with what I made in a slow cooker as it always kind of the same consistency to me just meh. This recipe impressed me and it turned out so good. Cooked not soaked in liquid and mushy. I will make this again and would even make it for company I liked it so much. Could just be because it turned out so different than most things. It's a keeper!

That's awesome Jeri! I'm so glad to hear it! Thank you for taking the time to let us know!

Made this today. It was so good I ate 4 of those bad boys.
Delicious ❤️

You guys are so cute! Loved the show.
Making these today. Thank you!

Hi Tricia!

I'm so sorry we don't have a recommendation. The crock pot and instant pot versions are so good, it is our go to so we haven't tested in the oven. If you give it a try, let me know how it goes!

This is a really good barbeque chicken recipe. It turned out great and even the picky eaters loved it. I was just wondering what kind of barbeque sauce people used. I used honey bbq sauce.

Hi Richard-
We recently updated the recipe and that is a typo (that I am fixing after I post this comment). However, if you liked it with a teaspoon, personally, I'd just keep it that way when you make it! Less sugar isn't a bad thing. So glad you enjoyed it!

So dang good! This is my go to recipe from now on. I have shared it with family members and friends. Super delish! Smokey, with a hint of sweet. Tastes almost just like if you were to pop it on the grill.
Definitely a recipe, that I highly recommend.

I really like this recipe. I substituted 1/2 tsp of ground ginger for the ground mustard. Added to taste: poultry seasoning, thyme and basil. I wanted more of a roasted finish so I didn't add the barbeque sauce this time. It was ready in 4 hrs. on low. Will try with barbeque sauce next time.

Hi Carrie-
I haven't but it should be fine if you want to! Enjoy!

Want a taste from the grill but it's still too cold to head outside? With a little time in your slow cooker and a few minutes under your broiler you can still have it!

Flavorful, tender on the inside and crispy on the outside, these Thai chicken drumsticks are baked in the oven for a healthy, protein-rich dinner main. This chicken drumstick recipe is gluten-free, low-carb, and Paleo-friendly.

Thai Chicken Drumsticks (Baked)

coconut oil oil

garlic (grated)

lime

turmeric powder

fish sauce

Tamari (or soy sauce)

honey

sesame oil

Combine the marinade ingredients in a large bowl.

Add the drumsticks and coat well using your hands. Transfer the chicken and the marinade to a ziplock bag or a container and store overnight in the fridge. Give them a shake once or twice to spread the marinade around.

Take out of the fridge 10-15 minutes before cooking. Preheat the oven to 190 C / 375 F.

Grease an oven tray with a little coconut oil or olive oil. Place the drumsticks evenly on a tray and pop in the oven, middle shelf, for 25-30 minutes. Reserve the marinade, and halfway through cooking, brush some over the drumsticks.

In the meantime, prepare the rice/noodles, veggies or a salad of choice.

Excellent-haven’t cooked better drumsticks. So tasty and will definitely be a favourite. Carol

I love this recede and is so tasty. This receipt is a keeper!

I really enjoyed this chicken. It made a lot, so I froze the leftovers. How do you recommend reheating? Air fryer, oven or microwave?

This is a new favorite! So bright from the lime juice and zest. I thought I made enough for lunch tomorrow but it’s gone!
