Quick and EASY homemade recipe for crispy Buttermilk Chicken Tenders. Crunchy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside with a homemade honey mustard dipping sauce.

Crispy Buttermilk Chicken Tenders

In a deep bowl, combine buttermilk, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken tenders to the marinade and marinate for 1 hour or overnight.

Combine all the ingredients for the breading in a deep dish.

Remove the chicken tenders from the marinade allowing excess marinate to drip off.

Generously dredge into the breading mixture.

In a deep skillet, add oil for frying (about 3 inches deep). Once oil is hot, add one chicken at a time.

Fry the chicken tenders 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking (until all sides are crispy and golden).

Meanwhile, combine all the ingredients for the dipping sauce in a small bowl.

Preheat oven to 425 and grease a large baking sheet with nonstick spray. Slice chicken breasts into 1-inch wide strips. Add flour and chicken strips to a large zip-lock bag, seal, and shake to coat chicken.

Place panko in a bowl. In a second bowl whisk together eggs and water. Dip flour-coated chicken pieces into the egg mixture to coat, then toss in the panko crumbs (make sure to coat well) and place on prepared baking sheet. Repeat with remaining chicken.

Bake chicken for 15-25 minutes until golden-brown and cooked through. While chicken tenders are baking, prepare the sauce. In a medium sauce pan combine all sauce ingredients. Stir over medium heat for about 5 minutes, then reduce to low and allow to simmer until ready to use.

When chicken is finished cooking, use tongs to toss chicken tenders in the sauce. Serve warm with ranch dressing if desired.

Preheat oven to 400F.

Line a baking sheet with foil and set aside.

Put 2/3 cup yogurt in a bowl; set aside.

In a separate bowl, combine panko bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic salt, parsley, salt and pepper; mix until thoroughly incorporated.

Dip chicken tenders in yogurt, then toss in bread crumbs mixture, pressing to coat.

Place chicken tenders on previously prepared baking sheet.

Spray chicken tenders with cooking spray.

Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until cooked through and golden on top.

½ cups crushed Corn Flakes

(1 ounce) packet ranch salad dressing mix

Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with foil (for easy cleanup, if desired); spray with nonstick spray. Set aside.

Combine Corn Flakes, dry ranch dressing mix, and Parmesan cheese in a shallow dish.

Place melted butter in a separate shallow dish.

Use paper towels to pat the chicken dry.

Working with one piece of chicken at a time, dip the dry chicken in the melted butter to coat, then dredge in the Corn Flakes mixture.

Place the breaded tenders on the prepared baking sheet. Spritz lightly with nonstick spray or mist with oil (this helps them brown even more in the oven).

Bake for about 14-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and the coating is browned and crispy.

Place the chicken tenderloins on a plate or a sheet of wax paper. Brush the melted butter or oil on to the chicken strips. Coat them all over.

Add panko or breadcrumbs and seasonings to a ziplock bag, dipping tray, or plate and stir or shake to mix. Place about 4 chicken strips to the bag (don&#39;t crowd them) and shake them to coat the chicken with the Shake and Bake seasonings and panko. Or dip the chicken tenders into the seasoning mix on a plate or dipping tray. Press gently if needed for coating to stick.

Prepare the chicken tenderloins

Preheat oven to 375ºF. Prepare the shallow casserole dish or baking sheet by spraying it with cooking oil.

Place coated chicken tenderloins on the prepared casserole pan or a baking sheet. Add fresh or frozen green beans, asparagus, sliced bell pepper, or broccoli, if desired.

Bake at 375ºF for 15- 17 minutes, until golden and crisp. Check the chicken tenders internal temperature to see if they are at least 165ºF in the center. Remove from the oven.

Dredge the chicken

 Crack the eggs into a shallow bowl and season them with salt and pepper. In a separate shallow bowl, combine the almond flour with the garlic powder, parsley, paprika, and some more salt and pepper. Dip each chicken tender into the egg then in the almond flour mixture and set aside on a clean plate. Continue until you have coated all of the chicken.

Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees F and spray the basket with olive oil spray. Lay some of the chicken tenders in an even layer into the air fryer basket and spray them with more olive oil spray. Close and cook them for 7 minutes. Then flip them over and spray the other side with more olive oil spray and cook them for an additional 4-5 minutes until crispy and cooked through. Cook in batches if needed. 

Mix up the sauce

Melt the butter in a pot over medium heat on the stovetop. Once the butter is fully melted, add hot sauce, honey, tomato paste, and salt and pepper. Whisk that all together and let it cook for 2-3 minutes on low heat. Set aside. 

Top and serve

Once all of the chicken is cooked, transfer it to a platter or clean plate and top it with the sauce. Serve warm and enjoy!
