The Best Sesame Chicken Recipe with crispy fried coated chicken glazed with a sweet and savoury sticky Asian sauce.

Sesame Chicken

0.70 lb Boneless chicken thigh/breast ((about 300 gram))

Potato /Corn Starch

tbsp Toasted sesame seeds

Spring Onions

Egg white

tsp Sesame Oil

tbsp Light Soy Sauce

Garlic paste

¼ tsp Baking soda

Sugar

Black pepper

Honey

tbsp Light soy sauce

tbsp Ketchup

tbsp Sesame Oil

tbsp Brown/white sugar

tbsp Vinegar

Water

Cut chicken into small medium bite size pieces. Add all the ingredients from the chicken marinate list, mix well and marinate for 15 minutes.

In a small mixing bowl add all the ingredients from the sauce mix and mix well. Set aside.

Add one egg white into the marinated chicken and mix well. Coat the chicken pieces with Corn/potato flour and toss the excess flour out before frying.

Heat the oil into high heat about 350° F.  Add the coated chicken pieces and deep fry for 2-3 mins till chicken turn into light golden brown.  Remove from oil and set aside.

Heat the wok, add the sauce mixture and bring it to boil with medium high heat.

Add the fried chicken pieces. Stir well with medium high heat for few seconds.

Add the tosted sesame seeds and spring onions and stir well.

Garnish with extra sesame seeds and cut spring onions.

Crispy Sesame Chicken is ready! Serve immediately.

Perfect with a bowl of steamed rice or a stir-fry noodle. Enjoy!

How to make Homemade Style Sesame Chicken | Quick & Easy

Salt and Pepper Prawns

¼ Tsp salt

Tsp black pepper

400 g Prawns (Peeled & Deveined)

Corn/Potato starch (flour)

Garlic

½ Sweet onion

½ Red/Green bell pepper

Salt

¼ tsp Black Pepper

¼ tsp Chinese Five Spices

Put prawns in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Mix well and set aside.

Cut garlic, chillies, onions and bell pepper into thin slices.

Coat the seasoned prawns with the corn starch. Coat the prawns well and toss the excess flour out before frying.

Heat the oil into high heat about 350 F. Add the coated prawns and deep fry for 2-3 mins till the prawns get crispy. Remove from oil and set aside on cooling rack.

Heat a pan, drizzle 1 tbsp of oil. Add the garlic slices and stir for few seconds, then add the onions and peppers. Stir well. ( Add 1/2 Tsp  of chicken powder if you want to taste exactly like a restaurant.)

Add the fried prawns , sprinkle salt, pepper and chinese five spices. Toss well to combine all ingredients with medium high heat for 1 min.

Crispy Aromatic Salt and Pepper Prawns are ready! Serve immediately!

Ginger (cut thin slices)

Garlic (cut thin slices)

tbsp Dry red chillies (cut small pieces)

2-3 Spring Onions (cut 1'' slices)

Egg white (whisked)

Oil for frying

tsp Sesame Oil

¼ tsp Black pepper

tbsp Brown Sugar

tbsp Sriracha Sauce (Or hot chilli sauce)

tbsp Black/White Rice Vinegar

tsp Light Soy Sauce

½ tsp Dark Soy Sauce

Chicken Stock (or vegetable stock

tsp Corn starch (or potato starch)

Pour the sauce mixture in, stir well and bring it to boil with medium heat.

Add the fried chicken pieces. Stir well with medium high heat for about 1 minute till all the chicken pieces and sauce become glossy.

Turn off the heat, add the spring onions and stir well for few seconds.

Delicious General Tso&#39;s Chicken is ready! Serve immediately.
