DIY Chocolate Liqueur Recipe

cacao nibs

vodka

sugar

water

real vanilla extract

Combine the cacao nibs and vodka in a sealable glass jar. Shake and then let steep for 8 days.

After the initial steeping period, bring the sugar and water to a boil. Let this syrup cool, then add to the jar along with the vanilla extract. Let steep for an additional day.

Strain out the nibs through a sieve and then filter through a coffee filter into the bottle or jar you'll use for storage.

Inspired by the classic Bailey's liqueur, this creamy drink features the sweetness of condensed milk with a hint of chocolate.

cocoa powder

milliliters (1/2 cup) Irish whiskey

Pour

Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice.

Strain

Shake well then strain into a chilled cocktail glass (making sure that you pour out the foamy topping).

Sprinkle

Garnish with a maraschino cherry on a cocktail stick, sprinkle on some cocoa powder, then serve.

The Almond Joy cocktail is a sweet, creamy, and indulgent drink with a rich chocolate flavor, nutty almond undertones, and a hint of tropical coconut. It is a smooth and velvety cocktail with a well-balanced sweetness.

Chocolate liqueur:1 oz

Amaretto:1 oz

Coconut rum:1 oz

Cream:1 oz

Ice:1 cup

Chocolate syrup:1 tbsp

coconut flakes:1 tbsp

Step 1: In a cocktail shaker, combine the chocolate liqueur, amaretto, coconut rum, and cream.

Step 2: Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled and well-mixed.

Step 3: Drizzle the inside of a chilled martini glass with chocolate syrup.

Step 4: Strain the cocktail mixture into the prepared martini glass.

Step 5: Garnish with a sprinkle of toasted coconut flakes on top of the cocktail.
