Easy Baked Cinnamon Apples

apples

Honeycrisp apples

lemon juice

maple syrup

cinnamon

nutmeg

Tbsp arrowroot flour

water

Vegan Coconut Whipped Cream

Peel, core, and thinly slice the apples and place them in a large bowl. (Try and keep the slices consistent and thin. It helps them to cook evenly.)

Add in all the remaining ingredients and toss until the apples are evenly coated.

Pour the apples into a 9&#215;13 baking dish, cover with foil, and bake for 40 minutes. Then, remove the foil, stir the apples, and bake uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes. The apples should be VERY fork tender and the sauce should be fairly thick and bubbly.

Serve the cinnamon baked apples plain or with a dollop of Vegan Whipped Cream.

Easy Baked Apples

old fashioned oats

pecans

cranberries

coconut sugar

butter

apple cider or apple juice

lemon

Preheat your oven to 375F. Add the oats, chopped pecans, dried fruit, coconut sugar, cinnamon nutmeg, and melted butter to a bowl. Then mix that together until it&#039;s well combined.

Core

Using a melon baller or paring knife, core the tops of the apples. Then scoop out some of the apple, so that you have a cavity about an inch and a half wide. Just make sure you don&#039;t core through the bottom of the apple.

Remove

Remove about 1/2&quot; of the skin around the top. This helps to prevent the apple skin from bursting when baking. Transfer your apples to a baking dish, standing them upright, and if they wobble you can slice a little bit off the bottom to make them more stable. Then squeeze the lemon over the top edge of the apple.

Stuff

Then stuff the apples with the cinnamon oat mixture.

Pour

Pour the apple cider or apple juice into the bottom of the pan.

Bake

Bake the apples for 45-60 minutes, basting a couple of times throughout with the liquid from the pan. The apples are done when they&#039;re tender when pierced with a fork.

Serve

Spoon the syrupy liquid from the pan over the apples before serving. You can also top them with a scoop of ice cream, whipped cream, caramel sauce, or a dash of cinnamon.

Bake these amazing Cinnamon Baked Apples slices until tender in coated caramelized sauce! This will be an easy dessert recipe to serve with a scoop of ice cream during the Fall and the holiday season!

Cinnamon Baked Apples

cornstarch

unsalted butter

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Peel, core, slice 5-6 apples, and transfer them to a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Add 1 tbsp lemon juice, ¼ cup light brown sugar, 1 tbsp granulated sugar, 2 tsp cinnamon, 2 tsp cornstarch, and mix everything together.

Spread evenly and top with sliced 2 tbsp butter.

Cover with foil and bake at 375°F for 30-40 minutes, stirring every 10-15 minutes.

When done, take it out of the oven and let sit on the counter for 10 minutes beofre serving.

Baked Apples with Cinnamon

apples ((best to use a mix of sweet and sour apples

tsp corn starch

½ tsp nutmeg ((optional))

tbsp melted coconut oil

vanilla extract ((optional))

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F (176 C). Set out an 8x10-inch (21x25 cm) baking dish or one similar in size.

Core and peel apples. Slice them lengthwise into medium pieces, not too thick. Make sure to be consistent so they coon evenly.

Add the sliced apples to a baking dish and top with sugar, cinnamon, coconut oil, corn starch, lemon juice, salt, vanilla extract (optional), and nutmeg (optional).

Use your hand or a wooden spoon to mix until everything is well coated. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the top is golden and the apples are fork-tender.
