Bloody Caesar

tbsp (15 ml) sea salt

grated zest of 1/2 lime

tsp (5 ml) finely chopped cilantro

tsp (0.5 ml) crushed hot pepper flakes

lime wedge

(180 ml) tomato

tbsp (30 ml) vodka

tsp (10 ml) lime juice

tsp (1 ml) green Tabasco sauce (or regular)

Worcestershire sauce

Ice cubes

In a bowl, combine all the ingredients except for the lime wedge.

Moisten the rim of a tall glass with the lime wedge. Dip the rim in the salt mixture. Set aside.

Seasoned Salt

In a measuring cup, stir together the tomato and clam juice, vodka, lime juice, Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce. Mix thoroughly.

Fill the prepared glass three-quarter full with ice cubes and add the Bloody Caesar. Garnish with the celery and cilantro stalks and the lime wedge. Garnish with a Spicy Harissa Shrimp Skewer (see recipe) on the edge of the glass.

Michelada Recipe - Spicy Mexican Beer and Tomato Juice Cocktail

light Mexican beer (Corona is good,

Clamato juice ((or use tomato juice))

lime juice (rinds reserved)

soy sauce ((or Maggi sauce))

hot sauce

chili powder

Salt (for rimming the glasses)

Lime wedges for garnish (if desired)

Place enough salt and Tajin seasoning or chili powder in a wide, shallow dish to cover the bottom.

Rub the rims of two glasses with the lime wedges (or use the reserved lime rinds) and dip them into the spicy salt mixture.

Fill the glasses with ice and set aside.

Divide the Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce hot sauce, lime juice, beer and Clamato juice into each glass. Mix well.

Garnish with a lime wedge.

Clamato beer (aka Clamato Michelada or prepared beer with Clamato) is an intensely flavored Mexican beer cocktail. It is mixed by combining Michelada preparation, Mexican dark lager and Clamato juice.

Assemble your garnishes by threading them onto the skewers. Chill until ready to serve.

In a small flat plate, combine the Old Bay seasoning and celery seed. &nbsp;Shake the plate slightly to spread the seasoning into an even layer. &nbsp;Rum a lime around the rim of a highball glass. &nbsp;Turn the glass upside down into the seasoning until the rim is coated. &nbsp;Set aside.

In a Boston Shaker, combine the vodka, clamato, worcestershire, horseradish (if using) and lime juice. Add ice cubes, secure the lid and shake vigorously to combine. &nbsp;Pour the mixture into the prepared glass.

Add a dash of hot sauce and garnish with desired accompaniments. &nbsp;Serve.
