Sloppy Joe Cowboy Beans - DELICIOUS! Easy skillet baked beans seasoned with sloppy joe mix and loaded with beef and bacon. Hands down the best baked beans EVER! Ground beef, bacon, tomato sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, pork &amp; beans, and sloppy joe seasoning mix.  I could make a meal out of just these yummy beans. Great with burgers, hot dogs, chicken, and pork. I made these for a cookout and everyone RAVED about them! Can freeze leftovers for a quick side dish later.

Sloppy Joe Cowboy Beans

beef

Tbsp minced onion flakes

(1.31-oz) packet sloppy joe seasoning

tomato sauce

½ tsp white vinegar

brown sugar

pork & beans in tomato sauce, (undrained)

In a large skillet cook ground beef until no longer pink. Drain fat.

Add remaining ingredients. Stir well. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

Jalapeno Lemon Grilled Chicken - chicken marinated in fresh jalapeños, lemon juice, oregano, olive oil and garlic. Inspired by our trip to Chicago and the Tavern on Rush. This chicken is AMAZING!! TONS of great flavor. Double the recipe for leftovers - great in tacos or quesadillas.

Jalapeno Lemon Grilled Chicken

jalapeno (remove the seeds

lemon ((3 Tbsp))

oregano

olive oil

garlic

chicken breasts

Combine the first 5 ingredients in the food processor.  Pulse until combined and jalapeno is finely diced.

Pour into a ziplock bag, add chicken.  Toss to coat.

Let marinate in the refrigerator overnight and then grill.

Dijon mustard brings a feisty little kick to this simple, classic pasta salad recipe.

Broccolini Pasta Salad

(16-ounce) box campanelle or other short pasta

Broccolini,

tbsp. white balsamic vinegar

shallot,

garlic clove, finely grated

Dijon mustard

pt. cherry tomatoes, halved

c. smoked almonds,

c. Fresh basil leaves, torn

I did a variation on this using pear-infused vinegar and added grated Parmesan cheese, and brought it to an event as a side.  I used the basil growing in my front garden which I plant to keep the deer from eating my annuals. (Deer avoid herbs.)  😀 It was a big hit!

Chili Pineapple Grilled Chicken - only simple 4 ingredients! Chicken, chili sauce, pineapple juice, and honey. TONS of great flavor!! We ate this chicken 2 days in a row! Can use any cut of chicken you prefer - breasts, tenders, thighs, or drumsticks. So simple and SO delicious!

Chili Pineapple Grilled Chicken

lb chicken tenders

sweet chili sauce

pineapple juice

honey

Whisk together sweet chili sauce, pineapple juice and honey. Reserve 1/4 cup of sauce and pour remaining sauce over chicken tenders. Marinate in the refrigerator 30 minutes to an hour.

Remove chicken from marinade. Grill until done, about 5 minutes per side. Brush chicken with reserved sauce on each side and cook for an additional minute on each side.

Grilled Huli Huli Chicken - DANGEROUSLY good!!! Chicken thighs marinated in brown sugar, soy sauce, ketchup, sherry, ginger, and garlic. Let the chicken marinate all day and grill. We ate this twice in one week. It was seriously delicious!! Can use chicken breasts or tenders instead of thighs.

Grilled Huli Huli Chicken

Tbsp ketchup

Tbsp reduced-sodium soy sauce

2½ Tbsp sherry or chicken broth

½ tsp dried ginger

boneless skinless chicken thighs, (about 2.5 pounds)

In a small bowl, mix the first six ingredients. Reserve 1/2 cup for basting; cover and refrigerate.

Pour marinade over chicken and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight. (I put the chicken and marinade in a gallon ziplock bag)

Remove chicken from marinade and grill until done, approximately 12 to 15 minutes. Baste chicken with reserved marinade during the last 5 minutes of cooking.

Smoked Queso Dip - a kicked up version of your favorite cheese dip with TONS of great flavor. Creamy cheese dip loaded with sausage, spicy jalapeños, and a delicious smoky flavor from cooking on the grill. Great dip for cookouts, camping, parties, and tailgating in the Fall.

Smoked Queso

lb Velveeta cheese, (cubed)

sausage,

(8-oz) bag shredded Mexican cheese blend

(10-oz) cans diced tomatoes and green chiles, (undrained)

jalapeño

Tbsp minced garlic

milk or beer

Place all ingredients except wood chips in a 9x13-inch disposable aluminum pan.

Prepare grill. Place charcoal in a charcoal starter and light. When the coals start to turn gray, dump into the grill, placing all the coals to one side. Top the hot coals with some of the wood chips. Place the pan with the dip on the side of the grill without coals. Close grill.

Cook the queso for 30 to 45 minutes, up to several hours, stirring periodically and adding wood chips to the top of the coals every 20 minutes. Add milk or beer to queso as it cooks to reach the desired consistency.

Serve the dip with chips and veggie slices.

Chicken brats are grilled and then slathered with barbecue sauce, then topped with homemade pickled red onions and a zigzag of spicy brown mustard. Delicious!

Grilled BBQ Sauce Chicken Brats

chicken brats or sausages

hot dog buns

barbecue sauce (or use your favorite)

pickled red onions

Spicy brown mustard

pickled jalapeños

Preheat your grill to 350℉ to 400℃ (or 180℃ to 200℃).

I add the chicken sausages/brats to the grill (while preheating) and cook until fully cooked (if raw) for about 12-15 minutes. If using precooked brats/sausages, grill until you start to see grill marks about 8 minutes.

The last 5 minutes or so I started brushing the chicken brats with barbecue sauce, turning them to get them sticky and caramelized.

Remove to a platter to cool for 5 minutes.

Serve the sauced brats in a soft hotdog buns with a heaping mound of pickled red onions, a zigzag of spicy brown mustard and pickled jalapeños if desired.

yummy especially for the pickled red onions, the rest can be just a vehicle for those, well almost, love brats too, so I'm in, thank you!

These quick and easy Vegetarian Baked Beans are sweet, tangy, stick-to-your-ribs baked beans made with simple ingredients in just 30 minutes. This recipe uses canned beans so there&#39;s no soaking required.

Easy Vegetarian Baked Beans

navy beans (drained and rinsed)

unsulphured molasses* (not blackstrap)

Tablespoons ketchup

Tablespoons yellow mustard

onion powder

baking soda

½ teaspoon kosher salt (to taste)

Preheat oven to 400°F. Drain and rinse bean, then set aside.

In a baking dish or oven-safe Dutch oven, combine the molasses, brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, onion powder, baking soda, and salt (as needed); whisk together until combined, then stir in the beans. This is an easy one-pan way, but you can also do this in a separate bowl and transfer to a baking dish, depending on what you&#39;re using.

Taste test the mixture for salt levels, just note that the flavors will mellow out as they bake and as the beans absorb the flavor.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, until thicker and bubbly, stirring halfway through cooking time as desired. Remove from heat and let sit for a minute as the beans thicken as they cool.

Wow! This takes Baked beans to a whole new level. It was my first time making homemade BB and I'll never go back to canned. Sooooo simple and truly delicious. They are always a hit at my parties.

Outstanding! These beans were a real hit at my last party and the recipe was requested by several people. I was a bit skeptical as the ingredients were so simple. Also, the beans looked so full of liquid that it looked more like bean soup before baking.
I cooked them first for 20 min ahead of time and then finished them off closer to dinner. They came out perfectly and were absolutely delicious. I was disappointed not to have leftovers, despite making a double recipe.

Thank you so much for sharing this recipe! My friends requested vegan baked baean and it was a huge hit at the cookout! So much so that a double batch was requested for the cookout today! I substituted siracha ketchup and Grey Poupon instead of regular ketchup and mustard. Added about 7-10 drops of liquid smoke forthe single recipe . They are a wonderful, sweet, spicy and smoky mix.

I made these tonight and they were excellent! I think I'll cut back on the sugar next time as they were a little sweet for me, but still had great flavor.

So, I made these for a potluck at my house two weeks ago, and folks were raving! One of my guests asked me to make them for her potluck, which I'm doing today! This recipe is a keeper and a total crowd-pleaser.

Really good!  Simple and easy. Added butter beans which I love!  Yum!  Used dried onion instead of onion powder.

I put a little smoked paprika and it was amazing!
