Set out a 4-6 quart slow cooker. Pour the frozen meatballs into the crock.

In a mixing bowl, combine the beef broth, half &amp; half, onion soup mix, cornstarch, Worcestershire sauce, and all spices. Mix well. Pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs.

Cover the slow cook, and set on LOW for 7-8 hours, or on HIGH for 3-4 hours. Stir and serve warm with a sprinkling of chopped parsley.

In the Crockpot:

Set out a 6 quart Instant Pot or pressure cooker. Pour in the frozen meatballs.

Lock the lid into place and set on Pressure Cook High for 8 minutes. Perform a Natural Release. Once the steam button has dropped it’s safe to open the Instant Pot. Stir, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve warm.

Preheat the oven to 450°F and have ready a rimmed baking lined with nonstick aluminum foil.

Add the breadcrumbs, 2 teaspoons Kosher salt, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 3/4 teaspoon allspice, 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, milk, and egg to a large mixing bowl and use a fork to combine. Add the beef and work in with your hands until the crumb mixture is evenly distributed throughout the meat.

Scoop out generous, tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture and roll into a ball with damp hands.

Place the meatballs on the baking sheet, leaving a 1&quot; gap between them. Use two baking sheets if necessary not to overcrowd the meatballs. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the meatballs have browned and fully cooked through. Set aside while you make the sauce.

To Make the Meatballs:

Add the butter to a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat. As soon as the butter has melted, whisk in the flour.

Add the chicken broth in one big splash at a time, whisking well after each addition. Once all of the broth has been incorporated, stir in the cream, followed by  3/4 teaspoon Kosher salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, 1/2 teaspoon allspice, 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon onion powder, and the Worcestershire sauce.

To Make the Sauce:

Transfer the meatballs to the slow cooker and pour the sauce on top. Cover and cook on high for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or on low for 3 to 4 hours.

Gently stir in the sour cream just before serving. Serve and enjoy!

Heat the oven to 400°F; line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Combine all meatball ingredients in a large mixing bowl - ground beef, panko bread crumbs, dried parsley, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, allspice, nutmeg, pepper, egg, and egg yolk. Mix gently using your (clean) hands until the ingredients are evenly distributed, but be careful not to overmix.

Form two-tablespoon portions of the mixture into 1” meatballs, then arrange in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet. You should be able to form approximately 30 meatballs.

Transfer to the oven and bake for 10 minutes, or until a solid crust has formed and the meatballs are lightly browned; the meatballs will not be cooked through at this stage, but that is intentional - they will finish cooking in the crockpot.

Transfer the meatballs to a crockpot and arrange into an even layer; it’s okay to stack them into several layers..

Whisk the broth, heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, dijon mustard and cornstarch in a large bowl until very smooth; pour the sauce over the meatballs.

Seal the crockpot, then cook on high for 2 hours, or low for 4 hours. For a thicker sauce, crack the lid open in the last 30-60 minutes to allow steam to escape and the sauce to reduce.

Add the sour cream and gently mix into the sauce using a rubber spatula. Taste for seasoning and adjust the salt and pepper to taste.

Garnish with fresh chopped parsley, a dollop of sour cream, and/or a dollop of lingonberry jam. Serve warm over rice, egg noodles, or mashed potatoes. Enjoy!

Super easy for those days you just don't have time to cook. We served our meatballs over noodles, but will try mashed potatoes next time. The sauce flavor was great.

This was really tasty and fairly simple to prepare. I’m not sure if it was the Great Value meatballs or the fat from butter and cream, but there was a lot of grease separating out of the sauce even after lots of stirring to combine it back together after cooking on low as directed. Cooked a bag of egg noodles and tossed them into the crock pot and it was a perfect Friday night dinner!

I made this dish yesterday and it was FANTASTIC!  The only change I made was to use about 2 pounds of meatballs (Swedish meatballs, no less!) since that's what I had left in the freezer :D  Definitely 5 stars - thank you !!

Italian frozen meatballs but made the sauce as directed. Threw it in the crockpot on high for about 3 hours, turned out great! Will definitely make again!

Cream is way too unhealthy.  I substituted half-fat creme fraiche (or you could substitute with low-fat Greek yogurt).  Add nearer the end so that it doesn't separate. Great recipe, especially as I froze the excess, so I've got some tasty basic meatballs for a quick meal or to add to left over sauces.

I'm sorry, we really didn't like this. I needed a lot of doctoring and I think the thyme didn't pair well with this recipe. I had a hard time thicken it even after adding a slurry. I ended up thickening it with potato flakes. I'm sorry, I really wanted to like this recipe but look forward to trying your other ones!
