Easy to make chocolate pizza has a chocolate cookie crust topped with creamy and delicious chocolate topping and lots of berries. The perfect chocolate treat for any occasion!

Double Chocolate Cookie Crust Pizza

teff flour

g white rice flour

g tapioca flour

g hazelnuts

g coconut cream (the thickened coconut cream from a can of full-fat coconut milk)

coconut oil

g ground chia seeds (mix with 5 tablespoons of water)

dark chocolate (85% cacao)

agave syrup

blueberries

blackberries

red currants

Preheat oven to 180 °C. Line a baking sheet with non-stick baking paper.

Mix 10 g ground chia seeds with 50 ml of water. Stir and let it rest for a couple of minutes to thicken.

Melt coconut cream in a medium pot over low heat. Stir until smooth. Let it cool down a bit.

Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl: teff flour, white rice flour, tapioca, ground roasted hazelnuts, raw cacao powder, coconut sugar, roughly chopped roasted hazelnuts, and baking powder.

Add 1-2 tablespoons coconut oil (melted), melted coconut cream, and chia seed mixture to the bowl with dry ingredients. Use a hand mixer and mix briefly until it all comes together. Adjust sweetness if needed.

Flatten the dough onto a baking sheet (approx. 20 cm in diameter) and bake for 18-20 minutes. 

Once the crust is done, let it cool down completely. The crust will continue to firm up while cooling.

Using a tablespoon, spread the chocolate sauce (see below) over the crust and top with berries.

Melt dark chocolate (85% cacao) over low heat in a medium pot. Stir until smooth. Let it cool down a bit.

Add coconut cream (see Note on coconut cream below), melted chocolate, and agave syrup to the blender and blend for 10-15 seconds until smooth (don&#039;t overdo it or the sauce will be too thin and/or runny).

Preheat oven to 350°. Line cookie sheet with parchment.

In a small bowl whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cream of tarter.

In a stand mixer or with hand beaters, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy, approximately 2 minutes.  Add in egg and beat for another minute. Add dry ingredients to the bowl. Mix until just combined. Gather the dough into a ball and transfer to lightly floured counter or board.

Gently pat dough into a rectangle, and then finish rolling it out until it is ¼ inch tall. Using a round cookie cutter, cut out as many circles as you can. Transfer cut-outs to the cookie sheet. Gently gather up the scraps and repeat until all the dough is used.

Bake for 9-10 minutes or until slightly puffy and the edges are very lightly golden. If you are cooking multiple sheets at once, be sure to rotate halfway through. Allow to cool on a cookie sheet until completely cool.

Cookies

Place cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in a bowl. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes or until light and fluffy.

Frosting

Cut fruit into bit-sized pieces. Arrange in individual bowls or on a platter for serving.

Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees F and lightly grease a pizza pan.

Roll your pie crust out into a 12 inch circle and place on your pizza pan. You can make it a little smaller or bigger depending on your preference/ the size of your pizza pan.

In a medium bowl, combine the flour, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter. Mix until there are small chunks of butter left about the size of peas. Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly all of the prepared pie crust.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges of the crust are lightly browned.

Easy S'mores Dessert Pizza

graham cracker crumbs (divided)

baking soda

salted butter (at room temperature)

brown sugar

egg (at room temperature)

vanilla extract

milk chocolate chips (divided)

mini marshmallows

Preheat oven to 350F. Spray a 13” pizza pie pan with nonstick spray.

In a medium bowl whisk together ¾ cup graham cracker crumbs, flour, and baking soda.

In a medium bowl with a stand mixer, cream together the butter, sugars, and salt.

Slowly add in the egg and vanilla and mix until creamy. Add in the dry ingredients and slowly mix until fully combined.

Using your hands, press the dough firmly into the bottom of the pizza pie pan.

Use a fork to pierce the dough all over, about 20-25 times.

Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the crust begins to brown and is baked through.

Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with 1 cup chocolate chips, leaving a rim around the outside untouched (for the “pizza crust”).

After about 3-4 minutes, the chocolate chips will have melted enough for you to be able to use a spoon to spread it out, like “pizza sauce”. Spread out until smooth.

Sprinkle with the remaining ¼ cup graham cracker crumbs, then the mini marshmallows and remaining ¼ cup chocolate chips.

Place under a broiler set to high for 1-3 minutes or until the marshmallows are just browned. Watch closely so the marshmallows don’t burn.

Remove from the oven and drizzle with chocolate sauce.

Cactus Bread

(1 stick or 113 grams) cold butter, (cubed)

Make crumble topping. In a medium bowl, add cold butter, flour, and confectioners&#39; sugar. Mix with hands and place in refrigerator until ready to add.

For the pie dough: Into the bowl of a food processor, add the all-purpose flour, almond flour, granulated sugar, cinnamon and salt. Pulse to combine. Add the butter and pulse until the dough becomes crumbly. Add the ice water 1 tablespoon at a time and pulse after each addition until the dough holds together but isn't wet. (Add additional tablespoons of water as needed.) Turn the dough out onto a floured work surface and form into a disk. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Position a rack in the center of the oven and preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Butter and flour a 12-by-1-inch pizza or tart pan with a removable bottom.

Remove the dough from the refrigerator. Flour a rolling pin and work surface. Roll the pie dough, starting from the center and working outward, into a 14-inch circle, about 1/4 inch thick. Lay the dough in the prepared pan and press it into the bottom and sides. Fold the excess dough inward and crimp. Dock the dough with a fork.

Put a piece of parchment paper on top of the dough and weigh it down with pie weights, a butter knife or dried beans. Blind-bake on the center rack of the oven until the crust is pale golden and just firm, about 20 minutes. Set aside to cool.

For the cheesecake filling: In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the cream cheese, granulated sugar, eggs and lemon zest and juice. Pour into the cooled pie crust and spread evenly with an offset spatula.

Bake until the cheesecake is set and the middle barely jiggles, 50 to 60 minutes. Set aside to cool.

For the cherry compote: Combine the cherries with their juices, granulated sugar, vanilla bean and lemon zest and juice in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook until the compote is thickened and syrupy, about 20 minutes. Let cool to room temperature, about 20 minutes.

Pour the compote over the cooled cheesecake filling, and spread evenly over the top.

For the whipped cream: In a large mixing bowl using a hand mixer or whisk, or in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, whip the heavy cream, confectioners' sugar and lemon zest until medium to firm peaks form.

In a medium skillet over medium heat, toast the almonds, stirring frequently, until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Set aside to cool.

To serve the cheesecake pizza pie, top each slice with whipped cream and toasted almonds. Enjoy!

I’ve made this recipe twice.<br />It’s super easy and tastes great! The crust is very flavorful!

Good cheesecake. Recipe seems hard buts it's really not. Lots of steps and a little time but it is good. First homemade crust that I made that turned out good.

This is the ULTIMATE apple dessert pizza. With a pillowy soft crust, tender spiced apples, sweet oat crumble, and a caramel drizzle on top, it's easily one of the best apple desserts you'll ever make.

Caramel Apple Dessert Pizza

tbsp unsalted butter, melted

quick oats

tbsp all purpose flour

light brown sugar, packed

tsp fine sea salt

Granny Smith apples, peeled and thinly sliced

lemon, squeezed

unsalted butter

apple cider

nutmeg

all purpose flour

Fleischmann’s RapidRise® Yeast

tsp salt

water

tbsp canola or vegetable oil

Mix together all of the ingredients and place in the fridge uncovered. By the time it&#8217;s ready to use, it will be the perfect crumbly consistency.

Oat Crumble

Place the sliced apples in a colander that is nested inside another bowl. Toss the apples in the lemon and 2 tsp of granulated sugar. Let them macerate for 30 minutes while you make the pizza dough.

Apple Topping

In a large bowl, whisk together 1 cup of flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.

Mix in the warm water and oil using a wooden spoon. The water should be a warmer than room temperature, but not too hot. 

At this point the dough will be VERY wet. Mix in another cup of flour and it should come together as a very shaggy dough.

Dump the dough out onto a floured surface and knead it for about a minute. Keep dusting the dough and surface with flour to prevent it from sticking. Don&#8217;t use more than 1/4 cup of flour during this process. 

In the end you should be left with a smooth dough. Shape it into a ball and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Pizza Dough

While the dough rests, make the coating for the apples. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt down the butter.

While the butter melts, combine the 2 tbsp brown sugar, 2 tbsp sugar, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, and 1/8 tsp nutmeg in a small bowl. Set aside.

Also dump out any juices that were released from the apples and place the apples back into the bowl, not the colander. 

Once the butter is melted, whisk in the flour for about a minute and then quickly whisk in the apple cider. The mixture will turn into an apple sauce consistency.

Just as the apple cider is mixed in, whisk in the sugar and spice mixture. Vigorously whisk until you reach a smooth consistency. It should look like a cross between a very thick caramel and apple sauce. 

Pour the mixture over the apples and use a rubber spatula to coat. 

After 10 minutes, the dough should have puffed up a very small amount.

Cover a pizza pan in parchment paper and lightly dust with flour. For best results, use a pizza pan with holes on the bottom. 

Place the dough into the center of the parchment and press it down with your fingers. Push the dough out to the edges into a 12-13&#8243; circle. The center should be thinner than the edges. If it&#8217;s giving you a hard time, leave it alone for a couple minutes then go back to it.

Place the apple slices on top in a starburst pattern (see picture above). You may have some apple slices leftover depending on the size of the apples used.

Take the oat crumble out of the fridge and crumble on top. Use as much or as little as you like.

Bake for 20-22 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. The tips of some of the apples might darken around the edges which is perfectly fine.

Pour it into a glass container and place it in the refrigerator uncovered to thicken. 

By this point, the pizza should be done. Let it cool for about 10 minutes and then drizzle on the caramel sauce. 

Slice with a large knife (not a pizza cutter) and enjoy!
