A quick and easy appetizer that&#x27;s sure to please and totally delicious!

Deviled Eggs

eggs (large)

mayonnaise

tsp dijon mustard

lemon juice

sour cream (optional)

tsp salt (for the boil)

tsp white vinegar (for the boil)

Place the eggs in a pot with two teaspoons of salt and two teaspoons of vinegar then fill with enough water until the eggs are covered by 1-2 inches. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and allow to boil for 7 minutes then transfer to an ice bath to cool.

Peel the eggs and cute in half.

Transfer the yolks to a bowl and mix with the mayo, mustard, and lemon juice. You can add salt and pepper to taste at this point if desired.I added a tablespoon of sour cream but you mat want a stiffer filling, I find the sour cream adds a nice mouth feel but it&#x27;s optional

Either spoon the filling into the eggs or pipe the filling in with a star tip. Sprinkle with paprika and serve. Minced herbs or crumbled bacon can also be added if desired.

Add a little ( 1/8 tsp. ) of Cayenne pepper to my deviled eggs. It s a hit with everyone.

This is my go to recipe. I change it up by adding a tsp of horseradish sauce, Turmeric, or pickled relish to the mix. I top the stuffed eggs with a slice of olive, pimento or fresh parsley sprig to dress them up.

Liked the addition of cayenne used sauce. gave it just a hint of heat on the back end

In a small food processor, combine the egg yolks, mayo, yogurt, relish, and mustard and pulse until smooth. Season to taste with salt.

Scoop the mixture into the egg white halves (or use a piping bag, if you prefer). Sprinkle with desired toppings.

Place the rack in the bottom of the pot. Pour the water in the pot. Place the eggs on the rack.

High pressure on manual 5 minutes.

Natural release 5 minutes then use quick release, then quickly run the eggs under cold running water until cool enough to hold.

Peel the eggs and slice in half lengthwise. Remove yolks and transfer to a medium-sized bowl.

Add the mayo, milk, pickle juice, salt, pepper then use a fork to mash well.

Spoon filling into each egg white. Sprinkle with paprika, dill and serve.

Cut eggs.

Peel your hard boiled eggs and slice them in half. Scoop out the egg yolks and add them to a small bowl. Set the whites aside.

Make filling.

Use a fork to mash up the egg yolks until no large pieces remain. Mix in the mayonnaise, mustard, dill pickle relish, hot sauce, vinegar, and black pepper.

Fill eggs.

Use a spoon or piping bag to fill each egg white with the filling mixture.

Garnish.

Chill and serve.

Classic Deviled Eggs Recipe

Cook your eggs, either with my Instant Pot hard boiled eggs recipe or make stove top hard boiled eggs. To cook on the stove, fill a medium pot with water and bring to a boil. Then reduce the heat to a gentle boil, add the eggs using a slotted spoon, and increase the heat again to a gentle rolling boil. Boil eggs for 14 minutes.

Immediately transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water. As soon as they are cool enough to handle, peel the eggs under cool running water.

Hard Boil the Eggs:

Pat the eggs dry with a paper towel.

Cut the eggs in half lengthwise. Use a small spoon to carefully scoop out the yolks. Put the yolks in a small bowl and the whites on a serving platter.

Use a fork to mash the egg yolks. Add the plain Greek yogurt or mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt and pepper to the bowl. Stir to combine. Taste and adjust the seasonings as needed. You may need to add more Dijon, salt or pepper. If the filling isn&#39;t creamy enough, mix in a little more mayonnaise or Greek yogurt.

Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture into the egg whites.

Sprinkle the deviled eggs with paprika right before serving.

Place eggs into a large pan, cover with cool water and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

Once water is boiling, set a timer for 12 minutes. When timer goes off, pour the eggs into a colander to drain.

Peel right away under cool running water.

Cut in half lengthwise and scoop yolks into a medium bowl.

With a fork, fluff the egg yolks until they are completely crumbly.

Add remaining ingredients and mix with fork until light and fluffy.

Spoon yolk mixture into a Ziploc bag, and snip off the end for easy filling of the whites.

Dust with dill or paprika if desired.&nbsp;Cover and chill until ready to serve.

Place eggs in a large saucepan and cover with water.  Bring to a boil.

Boil for one minute, cover with lid, and remove from heat.  Allow the eggs to sit covered for 18 minutes, then drain and transfer to an ice bath.

Peel the eggs and set aside.

MAKE THE HARD-BOILED EGGS:

Slice eggs in half lengthwise.

Scoop the yolks into a medium-sized bowl.

Add the mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, mustard, salt, pepper, and Tabasco sauce.  Use a fork to mash well. Add a little more mayonnaise if needed for a creamy consistency.

Spoon or pipe the filling into each egg white.  Sprinkle with paprika and top with a small slice of sweet gherkin pickle if desired. Enjoy!
