Instant Pot Chicken Tacos

(1262 grams) bone-in skin-on chicken thighs

(17 grams) garlic cloves (, minced)

cinnamon powder

(2.5 grams) cumin seed (, ground)

(2.5 grams) paprika

(2.8 grams) garlic powder

(2.4 grams) onion powder

(15 milliliters) regular soy sauce

½ cup (125 milliliters) unsalted chicken stock

corn tortillas

Salsa (pico de gallo)

lime

Marinate Chicken: Add 1 tsp (2.5g) ground cumin seed, ½ tsp (1.5g) cinnamon powder, 1 tsp (2.8g) garlic powder, 1 tsp (2.4g) onion powder, 1 tsp (2.5g) paprika, 1 - 2 tsp (2.5 - 5g) chili powder, 4 minced garlic cloves, and 1 tbsp (15ml) regular soy sauce in Instant Pot. Add in ½ cup (125ml) unsalted chicken stock. Give the sauce mixture a quick mix. Add in 2lb - 3lb bone-in chicken thighs. Let the chicken thighs marinate for 10 - 20 minutes.&nbsp;*Pro Tip: If you are marinating longer, place the whole inner pot in the fridge.

Pressure Cook Chicken: Pressure Cook at High Pressure for 12 minute and Natural Release for 12 minutes. After 12 minutes, release the remaining pressure by turning the Venting Knob to the Venting position. Remove the lid carefully.

Shred &amp; Season Chicken: Place cooked chicken in a large mixing bowl. Shred the meat with 2 forks.&nbsp;*Pro Tip: If you think the chili sauce is too oily, use a Fat Separator to remove the oil.&nbsp;Bring the chili sauce mixture back to a simmer by pressing the "Cancel" button, then "Saute" button. Let the sauce simmer and thicken a bit while you shred the chicken. Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning with more salt (for reference, we used 3 large pinches of salt). Place the shredded chicken back in the sauce.

Serve Instant Pot Chicken Tacos: Heat up the corn tortillas (optional). Add shredded chicken on top of the warmed corn tortillas with a spoonful of Salsa (Pico De Gallo). Add cheese and other toppings if desired. Serve these finger-lickin' easy chicken tacos immediately. Enjoy!~ :)

Sweet BBQ Lime Chicken Tacos

lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 2" pieces

c. all-purpose flour

c. panko bread crumbs

eggs

Kosher salt

black pepper

barbecue sauce

brown sugar

Juice of 2 limes

garlic powder

flour tortillas

green cabbage

c. Ranch dressing, for drizzling

tbsp. Freshly chopped cilantro, for garnish

These are great, with an adjustment. I saw the ratio and ditched it right away, you don’t need sugar! 1/3 cup BBQ sauce and 2/3 cup franks buffalo and it’s spot on!

Um this is basically glorified barbecue chicken nuggets In a tortilla. I was really disappointed. It’s not the right flavor combo. Next time I’d ditch the barbecue sauce and do like a chipotle sauce with some sliced avocado.

Hubby and I loved them . I did tweak it to what I know we like and by that I mean , I just used sweet baby rays sweet & spicy sauce for zing , I didn’t have lime so put dash of white vinegar in it. I don’t like cilantro so skipped that . Served with tortillas and salsa con queso sauce

Loved it! Drizzled the BBQ instead of putting all over chicken. Made a cilantro Mexican slaw to put on top. AMAZING!

I love this recipe so much!  I’ve made them about 8 times - so easy and delicious.  You wouldn’t think bbq would go with a taco, but the combo with cilantro and sour cream - and I add a little green pepper sauce Tabasco on the side.  So amazing!  I highly recommend.

It's BBQ nuggets with ranch. Bored and tried it. I guess it would be fine for a 5 yr old. Adults... not so bueno.

The first time I made these exactly as written and the flavor was amazing but the sauce was a bit too much. The next time we made as directed but drizzled sauce over chicken. Omg all the different flavors just explode in your mouth! This is a new favorite in our household and I'll be serving these to company often. Yum!!
*Sidenote* Cooking the chicken in my air fryer simplifies and also makes it extra crispy and super juicy.

The chicken baked was fine. But the sauce was way too sweet. Puzzled, why add brown sugar to barbecue sauce? I think it needed some spice for a kick. Easy to make, presentation nice, but overly sweet for us.

These were nasty. No one in the house would eat it. Not even our roommate we call the "garbage disposal" (because he will eat anything) would touch them after trying it.

These are amazing! My husband adores them so this is my third time making them. Super easy and the portion makes a ton so there are always lots left over. Very yummy and fun recipe!

Let the easy shredded Mexican chicken cook in the slow cooker all day. Then come home to roll these up and pop in the air fryer for a quick dinner or party snack. Crispy on the outside, melty cheese on the inside, but healthier than the greasy fried ones.

Air Fryer Chicken Taquitos

1 1/2-2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts

chili powder,

cumin

salt

pepper

can of black beans, (drained and rinsed)

shredded cheese ((about 8 oz.), white

olive oil

salsa, guacamole, sour cream, etc., (for dipping)

Season your chicken with salt, pepper, cumin and chili powder, and place in your slow cooker.

Pour salsa over the chicken.

Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

Shred the chicken with forks and stir in the rinsed and drained black beans.

Preheat you air fryer to 400°F.

Wrap the tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave for 30-60 seconds or until soft and pliable. Lay out on your work surface. Sprinkle about 1/4 cup shredded cheese onto each tortilla and scatter a thin layer (about 2-3 Tablespoons) of the chicken mixture on each.

Roll up tightly and place seam side down in the air fryer basket. Brush lightly with olive oil.

Once you have 4-6 taquitos in the basket, air fry at 400°F for 5-6 minutes. You may want to check after 2-3 minutes to see if any are unrolling, then just reroll and continue cooking.

Serve with your favorite dips.

Slow Cooker Chicken Tacos

lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 4)

yellow onion, sliced

lime juice

chiles

kosher salt

chili powder

Mexican beer,

Corn tortillas

cabbage

Sliced jalapeño

Place onions at the bottom of slow cooker, then place chicken on top. In a medium bowl or measuring cup, whisk together lime juice, chiles, salt, brown sugar, garlic powder, chili powder, and cumin. Pour lime juice mixture and beer over chicken. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.&nbsp;

When chicken is tender, remove from slow cooker and shred, then return to slow cooker with 3 tbsp. chilis in adobo sauce&nbsp;and toss with the cooking liquid. Remove chicken with slotted spoon or tongs and serve with tortillas and toppings of your choice.

So good. I used chicken broth instead of beer. I thought it was great. I also roasted the jalapeños. Try it.

I'm very confused by something in the ingredients list & I've tried Googling it but can't seem to find an answer. 

The recipe calls for "4 chiles in adobo, chopped, plus 3 tbsp. chiles in adobo sauce". I don't understand what the difference is between "chiles in adobo" and "chiles in adobo sauce". I've looked up the adobo sauce and understand what that is but the first part eludes me. Please help! Thank you in advance!

This recipe is amazing - so simple and soooo flavorful!

Came out good. Only used about a tablespoon of the adobe sauce and it had a good kick.

Best taco recipe I’ve come across!
We made it in a deep pan on the stovetop and cooked for just over an hour on low heat and it was perfect!!

Grilled Chicken Tacos with Marinade

Combine chicken taco seasoning, olive oil, orange juice, lime juice, cilantro, and a couple large pinches of salt and pepper in a small bowl.

Add chicken breast, nestling it into the marinade until it's covered.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour and up to 6 hours.

Heat cast iron griddle over medium high heat.

Once hot, reduce to medium and add chicken.

Cook in batches until a dark golden brown crust forms on the outside and the chicken is cooked through.

Dice and serve inside corn tortillas with your favorite taco toppings.

Start by cutting the chicken into small bite-size pieces. Place in a bowl and toss with chipotle chile powder, taco seasoning, and garlic powder.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil. Once the oil is heated, add the chicken. Cook for about 5 minutes, or until fully cooked through. Add more oil if needed. For extra flavor, add more taco seasoning, if so desired. Taste for seasoning and add salt and pepper, if needed.

Remove the cooked chicken from the skillet and leave any remaining oil. Place tortillas in the skillet and sprinkle cheese into the center of each tortilla. If you want the tortillas to be slightly crispy, drizzle more oil in the pan. Top with chicken. Heat until cheese is melted and fold over.

For the topping, stir together chopped cilantro, red onion, and jalapeno, or make homemade guacamole, salsa, or cilantro jalapeno dip. Serve with homemade salsa, guacamole, or sour cream. Carefully open the tacos and sprinkle or drizzle the topping inside the taco.
