Family loved it. Plenty of sauce to go with veggies or noodles. I thought it was a bit too lemony, but perhaps I had a particularly large and juicy lemon. Will try with a bit less next time!

We love salmon and I try to serve it each week. Therefore, I have loads of recipes for it. That being said, this was absolutely our favorite! I did add a cup of sweet peas to the sauce and used cayenne pepper rather than flakes. Can't wait to prepare it for guests!

Can you believe it took me 30+ years to eat fish. Never was a fan. Just started bc my husband fishes and the taste isn’t really THAT bad. So in the name of variety.. I decided to try salmon. This was excellent, but I think salmon is supposed to be cooked skin side down first to avoid burning it. So I did that, and then flipped it over and cooked for 1 minute on the other side! Very good recipe.

This was the most delicious salmon recipe. And simple. Usually buy my salmon pieces pre-marinated and oven cook. With this recipe it is the combination of the cooking method and the sauce that just works. I had a jar of truffle honey that decided to use and it infused an earthy honey taste. Forgot the garlic by accident. Still so amazing. Can not wait to make it again.

I did not have honey, so I added in a bit of some teriyaki sauce to achieve that same sweetness as the honey. And babyy, it was so delish

This recipe is definitely a keeper! Super easy and I usually have all those ingredients. I had a thicker salmon steak then was shown so I should have cooked it a bit longer. It was still good, I microwaved it for 30 seconds. Perfect!

It'll burn in oil in thirty seconds. The rest of the recipe is okay, I suppose, though I would simply marinate the salmon beforehand. Much easier.

This recipe is delicious, easy to ake, easy to clean up. I made one change, added a splash of whitecwinevto the butter, olive oil and lemon juice.  Took the salmon oh when it was cooked and boiled off some of the liquid and the sauce was scrumptious.

Absolutely delicious! I have never left a comment on a dish before, but this recipe was too good not to. This was my first time cooking salmon steak and I normally try to find recipes that have many reviews, but I saw this one and it sounded/looked so yummy I decided to try it. So glad I did! This turned out fantastic! It was my first time cooking salmon steaks, I always buy fillets. I used our cast iron skillet and am sooooo happy I read the reviews about replacing the honey with teriyaki. I think that was a strong move. My husband would not be too keen on the honey, so I almost passed over this recipe. This was a fantastic and delicious recipe! I cut down the garlic by half so it wouldn’t overwhelm the salmon and it was perfect. Served it with crisp asparagus sautéed with shallots and shiitake mushrooms topped withItalian parsley. Healthy and satisfying!

Don’t use parchment! Was shocked to see that on the recipe. Just sub foil and you’re fine. We thought this was a quick and easy recipe. Nothing to wow guests with but yummy nonetheless.

Most broil settings is 500 degrees. Parchment paper is only good to about 425. DON'T USE PARCHMENT PAPER. I can't believe they suggested that. Otherwise, a tasty recipe. Minus points for testing your smoke alarm.

Cut salmon fillets into 4 equal pieces, about 6 ounces in weight each.

Season each side of the fillet with 1 teaspoon of the blackening seasoning mix, 2 teaspoons total.

Heat a large stainless steel or cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot add the oil.

Place salmon fillets in the pan and cook until lightly charred and crisp, 2 to 3 minutes.

Flip and cook until the flesh flakes easily, 1 to 2 minutes.

Transfer to a plate, serve with lime wedge and sprinkle with parsley.

Crispy Skin Salmon 2 Ways: Pan Fried and Broiled

Heat a medium/large heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2-3 tbsp. avocado oil (depending on the size of the pan) and let it get hot until it shimmers and runs around the pan when you swirl it by the handle.

Pat the fillets dry and season the flesh side with the fine sea salt. Add them to the hot pan, skin side down. (Be careful with the hot oil.) Cook for 4-5 minutes, until the skin gets darker and crisp but not burnt.

Use a thin spatula and one other utensil (fork, wooden spoon, etc.) to help flip each fillet. The oil might splatter as the fillets land on the flesh side. Cook for another 4-5 minutes. The flesh should change from a bright pink to a softer pink.

If your fillets are especially deep, you might be able to tell from the sides that they&#x27;re not cooked through yet. To finish them off but avoid overcooking, carefully tip each fillet over onto its side to make sure all surfaces are cooked. Cook the sides as necessary for one minute. A thermometer (probe or instant) inserted in the thickest part of a fillet should read 125°.

Remove the fillets from the skillet and let rest for 5 minutes. Sprinkle the skin with flaky sea salt, freshly ground black pepper and a squeeze of lemon or lime, if desired.
