Preheat your oven 400 degrees F/ 200 C. 

Cook your pasta in salted water for 10 minutes, until the pasta is cooked al dente. Reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water. 

Place the cherry tomatoes in oven safe baking dish, pour in olive oil, season with salt and pepper and add in garlic. Toss to combine well. 

Place the block of feta cheese in the middle of the baking dish. Splash some olive oil, sprinkle redchilli flakes and dried oregano. 

Bake in the pre-heated oven for 30 minutes, until the tomatoes are squishy and the feta cheese has lightly browned. 

Remove the baking dish from the oven, quickly add in chopped basil leaves . 

Using whisk or spatula combine cooked tomatoes and feta cheese. 

Transfer the strained cooked pasta to the baking dish, add in reserved pasta water and toss to combine. Garnish with  fresh basil leaves and serve.

Feta Pasta with tomatoes and asparagus is a creamy and easy pasta casserole. Cook the pasta while the cheese and tomatoes bake for a quick dinner.

Creamy Baked Feta Pasta

cherry tomatoes

asparagus

extra virgin olive oil

tsp salt

tsp black pepper

oz block Feta Cheese

oz penne pasta

garlic (finely minced, divided)

parsley (or basil, finely minced)

Preheat oven to 400˚F. Add tomatoes and asparagus to a 9x13 casserole.  Add 1/3 cup olive oil, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1/2 tsp black pepper, and 1/4 tsp salt. Toss to combine. Make a space in the center and place your 8 oz block of feta in the pan. Drizzle the top with 1 Tbsp olive oil and another sprinkle of black pepper. Bake at 400 for 30 minutes until tomatoes start to burst.

About halfway through your baking time, bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add pasta. Cook according to package instructions, stirring a few times to keep the pasta from sticking. Drain pasta (reserving some cooking water if you decide to add it later).

After 30 minutes, the tomatoes should burst and start to release their juice. Remove from the oven and immediately stir in remaining minced garlic and parsley and toss to combine. Use the back of a large spoon to press the cheese into the olive oil and stir until cheese is well dispersed in the dish.

Stir in drained cooked pasta. Add reserved pasta water if desired. Serve warm. Be mindful of those tomatoes (the juicy centers can be very hot if you eat them right away). Add reserved hot pasta water as desired for saucier pasta.

I Made BAKED FETA PASTA - Viral TikTok Recipe

This Greek Pasta is filled with equal parts al dente noodles and Mediterranean veggies - tossed in a creamy, light, feta and herb sauce. It takes just over 15 minutes from start to finish and is a hearty vegetarian dinner that is perfect for Meatless Monday or any family dinner!

15 Minute Greek Pasta

tablespoon olive oil

garlic,

oregano

thyme

oz. feta cheese

heavy cream

pasta water

grape tomatoes, halved

(15 oz.) can quartered artichoke hearts, drained

(4.8 olives

parsley

grated Parmesan

feta

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add garlic, oregano, and thyme along with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook for 1 minute, stirring frequently.

Add feta cheese and heavy cream to the pan. Reduce heat to medium-low and stir for about 2-3 minutes or until the feta mostly melts and creates a sauce.

Add pasta and half the pasta water to the pan and toss until pasta is evenly coated. Add more pasta water as needed.

Add tomato, artichoke hearts, and olives to the pan. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Stir to combine and cook for about a minute or until everything is warmed through

Garnish with parsley, Parmesan, and enjoy!

Loved this recipe! I do agree with the previous post that some lemon would work really well in this dish! I was super surprised how the feta melted into a beautiful sauce-Never would have thought! I added chicken with Greek seasoning - I live with someone who believes every meal needs meat 🙄

Herbs galore!! Love this! I’ve been trying to be more creative in my cooking and wow, seasoning definitely has a huge impact on what flavors are drawn out! Yum! This pasta was “on point” haha. It was fun to make and super quick! I made the mistake of buying crumbled fat free feta, NEVER AGAIN! I did see your notes about how the whole block feta is better so will definitely try that next time. I also took your notes about easy changes and swapped out cherry tomatoes for the sundried tomatoes I had on hand! Super delicious recipe, would recommend especially to someone like me that seemingly always goes for the store bought marinara and pasta. This is just as easy, but with more creative flavors.

This was a great, quick recipe to whip up  on a whim. Had most everything on hand and I used up a few different varieties olives already open. I used hearts of palm pasta and didn’t have any pasta water so I added a little chicken stock. Seems like it would be an easy recipe to switch up based on what you have on hand.

Hi! Did this recipe originally include zucchini? I made this recipe a little while ago and saved it since I loved it so much. I'm about to make it for dinner, but I am confused as the recipe is missing zucchini. Am I crazy and I'm not remembering properly?! Lol!

Cooked this recipe without the pasta. I toasted some bread and put a small scoop of the sauce on top.  I will use the rest on pasta if I don’t eat it all first with other food ideas.

I made mine without the Parmesan (I’m out) and garlic (I subbed in garlic powder)—also used an Italian seasoning blend in lieu of the individual herbs.

Pasta with Feta Cheese and Cherry Tomatoes

oz farfalle (bow-tie pasta)

oz grape tomatoes ((2 colors: red and

garlic (minced)

paprika

Italian seasoning

spinach (chopped)

oz crumbled feta cheese

lemon juice

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to the package instructions. Drain.

In the meantime, proceed with the rest of the recipe.

Cook pasta

In a large, high-sided skillet, combine the halved grape tomatoes, minced garlic, ¼ teaspoon of salt, paprika, Italian seasoning, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Cook the tomatoes on medium heat for about 2 minutes until they soften and release juices.

Stir in fresh spinach and cook until it wilts. Add crumbled feta cheese and stir it in.

Add cooked and drained pasta and 3 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Reheat on medium heat, stirring everything to combine, for 1 minute. Add 1 extra tablespoon of olive oil if you like.

Absolutely delicious! I added some peppers and artichokes to the recipe and think each of the flavors worked together very well. I thought you could taste each discretely. Next time (and I will add it to rotation) I think I’d cut the stems off the spinach and arugula.

Baked Feta and Tomato Pasta

block full fat feta cheese

garlic

red pepper flakes

black pepper

basil

penne pasta (or other choice)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Place the block of feta cheese in the middle of a 13 x 9 inch baking dish.

Arrange cherry tomatoes around block of cheese.

Insert several cloves of garlic around tomatoes.

Sprinkle block of feta cheese with Italian seasoning, dried garlic (optional), red pepper flakes and coarse pepper.

Drizzle extra virgin olive oil over cheese and tomatoes.

Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes until tomatoes are bursting and cheese is melting.

Burst open all of the tomatoes with a spoon, then stir with cheese until a creamy sauce forms.

Stir in basil slivers.

Mix in penne pasta and serve immediately.

I loved how simple and easy this recipe was! Great for a quick week night meal.
