Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing is a simple, 10-minute dressing and ranch dip made with Greek yogurt, (optional) mayo, and ranch seasonings. The Greek yogurt offers protein, calcium, and (if using nonfat) fewer calories than a classic ranch dressing.

Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing

Greek Yogurt (I use nonfat)

Mayo (optional)

1% Milk (or any fat content)

White Vinegar

Parsley

Chives (chopped)

Garlic (minced)

Sea Salt

Black pepper (to taste)

In a lidded jar or mixing bowl, shake (or whisk) GREEK YOGURT, MAYO, MILK, VINEGAR, PARSLEY, CHIVES, GARLIC, SALT and PEPPER until well-combined.

How to make ranch dressing without a blender

Place all ingredients in a tall container or glass jar, insert the blade end of the stick blender into the dressing ingredients.

Pulse the blender until ingredients are well-incorporated, then blend at a steady speed until dressing is fully blended.

To make ranch dressing using a stick blender

Cover and refrigerate in an airtight container up to 5 days until ready to serve.

Shake well before serving. Serve chilled.

Storage and serving

Greek Yogurt Ranch is a creamy, low-fat and low-cal delight of a dressing. Creamy, smooth, a bit tangy, and with all the ranch flavors you love…in a matter of minutes you could whip up a salad dressing or dip that’s sure to be a hit!

Greek Yogurt Ranch

water (as needed)

I halved the recipe for my husband and I. It was delicious and bumped up the protein for our meal. I love that it made a nutritious dressing without preservatives and extra protein and a figure friendly ranch dressing!

I used mirin instead of rice vinegar (and doubled the amount) and it turned out great! The sweetness helped hide the tangy Greek yogurt flavor.

Wow. Tastes nothing like ranch dressing. Maybe if it sits for a day or two it will be better. Super disappointed!

Here’s an idea for how long it lasts: look at the expiration date on your Greek yogurt container. When you factor in the fact that you’re putting 2 natural preservatives in it - salt and garlic - it will probably last longer than that.

I have tried several ranch dressing recipes and this is by far the best and only one hubby approved! Thank you!

This is absolutely delicious! Creamy and wonderful.

This creamy, tangy homemade ranch dressing recipe comes together in minutes with mayo, Greek yogurt, fresh herbs, and garlic. It’s perfect for salads, dipping, and drizzling, and it keeps well in the fridge for easy meal prep.

Ranch Dressing Recipe

mayonnaise

half-and-half ((or whole milk))

white vinegar

garlic (minced)

black pepper

dill (minced)

parsley (minced)

chives (finely chopped)

Combine the base. Add the mayonnaise and Greek yogurt to a medium bowl and whisk until smooth.

Thin to the right consistency. Slowly whisk in the half-and-half (or milk) until the dressing looks pourable but still creamy.

Add tang and seasoning. Whisk in the vinegar, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

Stir in the herbs and garlic. Add the dill, parsley, chives, and minced garlic. Stir until evenly combined.

Taste and adjust. Add an extra pinch of salt or pepper if needed, or a small splash of milk to thin.

Chill (recommended). Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to overnight so the flavors can meld before serving.

Never been a huge fan of ranch but I saw this while looking at the Buffalo chicken dip recipe (that was so good btw) and figured why not give it a try since I needed ranch for that recipe anyways.

So, uh, I think this recipe made me actually like ranch. Making my second batch now after using the first in the dip.

I didn't have chives or vinegar so I substituted green onions and lemon juice to taste. It was still delicious!

Oh, man, help me stop eating this! 😆 I feel like one important note is to not eat it until it has rested in the fridge for several hours/overnight. Immediately after making it (specifically for your "Best Buffalo Chicken Dip," which was so yummy) I was disappointed, swearing I'd never take the time to make it again (I hate dealing with dill and peeling garlic because they stick to my fingers). I could mainly only taste the avocado oil mayo and dill. However, the next day, I was thoroughly impressed. The garlic flavor developed, and the yogurt overtook the avocado oil mayo flavor. It is just bursting with deliciousness. I will absolutely be making this regularly. Just snacked on some pastrami wrapped celery sticks dipped in it. SO good.

This recipe is very good, second weekend in a row making this ranch, this time I’m doubling it. I use sour cream instead of Greek yogurt and it turns out great. I like a thick ranch for dipping, so I’ll probably play with it and work on making it a little thicker!

I did the same thing first time! I couldn’t find geek yogurt and it was on the thinner end of the spectrum. But once I used the Greek yogurt, I used whole milk Greek yogurt (I had to buy one of those gigantic containers) it turned out great

can't wait to try this!! i made it for the buffalo chicken dip. i will be putting it all together later today for new year's eve! mine came out a little runny. i added a touch more mayo. i did use nonfat greek yogurt (it's what i could find in a pinch). maybe that's why??

I came across this recipe when I was looking for a buffalo chicken dip recipe. I love doing homemade stuff as components for other recipes and I really don’t like the fake flavor of store-bought ranch. This ranch dressing was incredibly easy to make and was super delicious. I can’t wait to use it in the Buffalo chicken dip. I will 100% make this again when I need it. I did sub the Greek yogurt for sour cream.

My husband is a ranch fan of your ranch! Thank you for sharing!

This will be my go to ranch dressing whenever needed. Creamy and flavorful!!

Thank you for the recipe.
Greetings from Greece.
