I grew up eating salmon patties and have cooked several different recipes (including my own), but these are, by far, the absolute best salmon patties I’ve had...the search is over!
P.S. I cooked them in the air fryer and they came out great.

This turned out well, a little salty but that's prob my fault (I cut the recipe in half, didn't measure closely). Would add a red bell pepper next time. Served it with avocado slices and spinach, feta, almond salad.

OK, I just made these.  Followed recipe except instead of bread crumbs, I used potato flakes as a binder along with the eggs.  They are delicious.  I also agree, the mustard, dill  & lemon juice make these killer good!

Had been searching for the best recipe for Salmon Patties & found this recipe to be perfect. I used red onions, omitted green peppers & added fresh basil & parsley as I didn't have dill & they were perfect.  Will make them again soon & will try red or yellow peppers & fresh dill.

I made this recipe for the first time today. It reminded me of my mother. When I was young she made Salmon Patties often. I would not have thought to serve them over baby spinach. It was delicious. Thank you for that suggestion.

I just made this for the first time. I used almond flour in place of the panko bread crumbs (same amount), Greek yogurt instead of mayo (same amount), and the onions were eliminated because they don’t agree with my husband or I.  They were delicious. My husband doesn’t even care for salmon, but after only one bite his response was “we can have this again”! I definitely will.

Love the ability to make substitutions. Had no green onions, used regular, had no dill, used parsley. This made for a very tangy tasty bite.  Did roll in cornmeal for crunch. Will be making this again.

I don't think I've ever reviewed a recipe before, but this was seriously SO delicious. Very simple and easy ingredients, but this is a god send when just starting keto as I was quickly getting bored with food or finding it hard to think of things to cook.  I didn't have fresh parmesan, so I used the refrigerated grated kind, but it was still really good! I mixed the garlic in with the butter sauce then rubbed it over the salmon.

Delicious and filling! I didn’t have parsley, but otherwise it was great!

The BEST Pan Seared Creamy Tuscan Salmon Recipe you'll ever make. Crispy tender Salmon served with a creamy (dairy free) tuscan garlic white wine sauce that will make you swoon. Guaranteed to be new dinner favorite! 

The BEST Pan Seared Creamy Tuscan Salmon Recipe

(4 oz) salmon filets

salt & pepper

grape seed oil

unsalted butter

garlic cloves,

onion

dry white wine

red pepper flakes

cherry tomatoes

baby spinach

full fat coconut milk

basil, chiffon

Bring salmon filets out of refrigerator 15 minutes prior to cooking.

Add grape seed oil to the pan and then add salmon flesh side down, gently pressing the salmon into the pan to &#8220;help&#8221; the sear.

Then immediately add butter to the pan and let melt. Add in garlic and saute for 30 seconds, stirring the entire time.

Add in onions and saute until translucent, about 2 minutes.

Deglaze the pan with white wine, scrapping with a wooden spoon to get any brown bits from the bottom. Season with salt and 1/8 teaspoon of red pepper flakes.

Add in cherry tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes. As the cherry tomatoes start to soften, press down on them with a spoon to make them burst.

Next add in spinach and saute until wilted down, about 2 minutes.

Pour in the coconut milk. Stir and simmer for 3-4 minutes.

Then add lemon juice and fresh basil. Stir to combine.

Place the salmon back in the pan and serve!

Made it last night and it was delicious!  I made the full sauce recipe, but only 2 salmon fillets, so there was a lot of leftover sauce.  I refrigerated it.  Is it safe to reheat and reuse?  Any tips on best way to reheat the sauce?

30 Minute Creamy Tuscan Salmon

2 easy methods for making succulent salmon with crispy skin. Get dinner on the table in under 15 minutes!

Crispy Skin Salmon 2 Ways: Pan Fried and Broiled

avocado oil

(6 oz.) salmon fillets

fine sea salt

flaky sea salt

lemon or lime wedges (optional)

avocado oil spray

Heat a medium/large heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2-3 tbsp. avocado oil (depending on the size of the pan) and let it get hot until it shimmers and runs around the pan when you swirl it by the handle.

Pat the fillets dry and season the flesh side with the fine sea salt. Add them to the hot pan, skin side down. (Be careful with the hot oil.) Cook for 4-5 minutes, until the skin gets darker and crisp but not burnt.

Use a thin spatula and one other utensil (fork, wooden spoon, etc.) to help flip each fillet. The oil might splatter as the fillets land on the flesh side. Cook for another 4-5 minutes. The flesh should change from a bright pink to a softer pink.

If your fillets are especially deep, you might be able to tell from the sides that they&#x27;re not cooked through yet. To finish them off but avoid overcooking, carefully tip each fillet over onto its side to make sure all surfaces are cooked. Cook the sides as necessary for one minute. A thermometer (probe or instant) inserted in the thickest part of a fillet should read 125°.

Remove the fillets from the skillet and let rest for 5 minutes. Sprinkle the skin with flaky sea salt, freshly ground black pepper and a squeeze of lemon or lime, if desired.

For pan-fried salmon:

Heat the broiler to high.

Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with avocado oil spray or spray of choice.

Pat fillets dry and season the flesh side with fine sea salt. Broil skin-side up for 4-5 minutes. The time depends on how close your food is to the broiler. Check at 4 minutes to be safe. The skin will have some darker, bubbly spots and look crisp but shouldn&#x27;t be burnt. If it doesn&#x27;t look much different, continue to broil, checking every 2 minutes.

Flip the fillets and broil flesh-side up for 4-5 minutes. The flesh should change from a bright pink to a softer pink. If your fillets are especially deep, you might be able to tell from the sides that they&#x27;re not cooked through yet. Salmon fillets are pan-seared to perfection in a tangy lemon garlic sauce. Easy to make, low carb, and ready in just 30 minutes.

Pan-Seared Salmon in a Creamy Lemon Sauce

Zest about ½ of a lemon. Cut the lemons in half and juice 3 of the halves. Slice the remaining half.

Heat the oil in an oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the salmon and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Set aside on a plate.

To the same skillet cook the garlic for 30 seconds, over medium heat.

Add in the mascarpone together with the lemon zest and juice. Stir in the fresh dill and 2-3 tbsp of water to thin the sauce a bit.

Return the salmon back into the pan and top with lemon slices.

Cook for 4-6 mins until the salmon is cooked through and flaky and the sauce is bubbly.

Easy salmon meuniere elevates salmon to something spectacular! A spin on classic sole meuniere, it forms a delicious pan sauce of butter, lemon and parsley.

Salmon Meuniere

all-purpose flour

salt

salmon fillets, skins removed

lemon

lemon juice (about 1 small lemon)

parsley

capers

Place a rack in the center of your oven and preheat to 425 degrees F.

In a large, shallow plate (a pie dish works well), combine the flour, 1 teaspoon salt, and pepper. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and sprinkle the remaining ¼ teaspoon salt over the top.

Melt the butter in a large (12-inch) oven safe cast iron skillet or similar sturdy-bottomed oven safe skillet over medium heat. Continue to heat, swirling the pan periodically, until it begins to brown.

Reduce the heat to medium-low. Dredge both sides of the salmon fillets in the flour mixture. Shake off the excess then gently place them in the hot butter, top-side down. Cook without disturbing them for 3 minutes, until the top is golden brown. When the salmon turns opaque on the sides and starts to turn opaque on top, use a flexible spatula to flip the salmon.

Add the lemon zest and lemon juice to the pan. Place the skillet immediately into the oven and let cook for 6 minutes (the salmon will appear a little undercooked in the center but will finish cooking as it rests). Remove from the oven and cover with foil. Let rest 4 to 5 minutes.

To serve, place each piece of salmon on a plate and spoon the pan sauce liberally over the top. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and capers. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy immediately.

Simple, soft, and flaky salmon fillets grilled to perfection with a honey, lime, and cilantro marinade.

Cilantro Lime Grilled Salmon Fillet Recipes

oz salmon filets (2 filets, 6.oz each)

Kosher salt and pepper (to taste)

sesame oil

limes (juiced)

lime

tbsp honey

tbsp finely chopped cilantro

Remove the salmon from the fridge, season with salt and pepper, then place in a ziplock bag.

In a small bowl, whisk well the remaining ingredients. Add half of this marinade over the salmon and allow it to sit over the counter for 15 minutes. Keep the remaining marinade to bash over the salmon at the end.

Preheat a grill pan or an outdoor grill over medium heat. Grill the salmon for 4-7 minutes per side, or until charred and flaky.

Bash with the remaining marinade twice while grilling.

This Chili-Lime Salmon is seasoned with a blend of Mexican spices for maximum flavor and cooks in the air fryer in under 10 minutes.

Chili-Lime Air Fryer Salmon

Tajin Classic

garlic powder

oregano

smoked paprika

Lime wedges (for serving)

chopped fresh cilantro

mango-avocado salsa (Optional for topping)

Spritz salmon all over with oil and season with chili-lime seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, cumin, oil, 1/4 teaspoon salt and oregano.

Spray the basket with olive oil or use air fryer parchment with holes to prevent sticking.

Place salmon in the air fryer basket with the skin side down and air fry 400F for 6 to 8 minutes.

Serve with lime wedges and top with fresh cilantro, and optional salsa if desired.

Bake on a sheetpan in a preheated 400F oven about 10 minutes.

Oven Method

Here's a fast &amp; healthy weeknight Dinner! Furikake Salmon Bowls- these delicious bowls are made with seared sesame salmon, shiitake mushrooms, avocado and cabbage. Make this in 30 minutes! Serves 2. 

Furikake Salmon 

soy sauce (or GF BRAGGS)

Mirin (see notes for substitute)

tablespoons sesame oil

olive oil, divided

shallot,

cabbage

salt, pepper and chili flakes

salmon (2 thick pieces)

shiitake mushrooms, de-stemmed, sliced (or use Smoked Mushrooms!)

avocado, sliced

Feel free to add additional roasted veggies

Make the Sauce

Mix soy sauce, mirin  and sesame oil in a small bowl.

Saute Cabbage

 Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet. Add shallot and saute over medium heat until fragrant. Add the shredded cabbage, season with salt and pepper and saute until just wilted. Set aside in a bowl and drizzle with a couple of tablespoons of the Soy-Mirin&#8211;Sesame Oil Sauce.

Sear the Salmon

Wipe out the pan and heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in the skillet over medium-high heat. Season the oil with a generous pinch of salt, pepper and chili flakes and swirl. Add the salmon and mushrooms, and sear both sides, until golden. Turn heat off, letting the pan cool slightly (otherwise sauce may burn).  Spoon sauce over top of the salmon and mushrooms, swirling the skillet.

Assemble the bowls

 Divide rice or grains between 2 bowls. Sprinkle with furikake. Arrange sauteed cabbage, avocado wedges and any other veggies in the bowl. Top with seared salmon and mushrooms, and sprinkle it with Furikake spooning the remaining sauce over the avocado and other veggies.

Furikake Salmon has become one of my favorite meals.  It's easy to put together and always so satisfying. I've made it a number of times and never tire of it.

This is my go-to recipe that everyone in my family loves! One thing I do is cut the fish in 1 or 1.25 inch thick pieces then 
place the salmon in the pan skin-side down first, let the oil from the fish render out a bit, and then flip it just until the glaze is nice and shiny on all four sides. I like to cook it briefly, just until the fish is barely done so I don't overcook it. We like our salmon tender, flaky, and not at all dry. Love all your recipes!

This Furikake Salmon is fabulous! So satisfying and healthy. My husband isn’t a big fan of fish, but he devoured this salmon dish. Definitely making this again. So many great recipes on this site.
