Preheat your oven to 425F.

Drain the tofu and lightly press it with a paper towel. This is just to pat it dry, you don&#039;t need to press it for an extended period of time!

Cut the tofu into 12 even square pieces.

Put your cornstarch in one bowl, the plant milk in another, and the breadcrumbs, salt and pepper in a third bowl. Toss together the breadcrumbs with the salt and pepper.

Use your right hand and pick up a piece of tofu, toss it in the cornstarch so it is lightly coated. Then use your right hand and dip it in the plant milk. Use your right hand to remove it from the milk and drop in the breadcrumb mixture.

Then switch to your left hand and toss the tofu in the breadcrumbs until it is well coated. Use your left hand to move the tofu to a parchment lined baking sheet. Repeat this process for each tofu square, using your right hand for the wet mixture, and your left for the breadcrumbs!

Bake the tofu for 15 minutes at 425F. Then flip the tofu pieces and bake for another 15 minutes. Do one more flip and bake for another 15 minutes, or until golden brown.

While the tofu is baking, whisk together the agave nectar, Frank&#039;s Red Hot and sambal oelek in a small dish. Taste and adjust for your heat/sweetness preference!

When the tofu is out of the oven, drizzle with the hot &quot;honey&quot; glaze and enjoy!

Commercial honey is pasteurized.&nbsp;Pasteurization is a process that destroys microorganisms with heat. The honey to 145° F (63° C) for 30 minutes. Some will heat to 150° (65.5° C) for 30 minutes and depending on the manufacture the temperature be brought to 170° F (77° C) momentarily. Keep in mind past the maximum hive temperature of 95 degrees F. changes honey’s essential composition and degrades its quality. BUT by pasteurizing the honey it will destroy Clostridium botulinum, found in honey, having been responsible for botulism poisoning. For this reason children under 1 year old should not consume honey.

Place a clean lid on the canning jar and place a ring finger tight on the jar.

Set your sous vide circulator to 122°F (50°C) for pasteurized honey.

Set the sous vide circulator to 95°F (35°C) for raw honey. By raising the temperature of raw honey above&nbsp;95°F (35°C), it changes honey’s essential composition and degrades its quality. It partially destroys honey’s beneficial enzymes.

Strain the jalapeno from the honey once the time is up.

Store in the jar, closed in a cool dry place.

Drizzle over goat cheese and serve with for a delicious appetizer.

Hot Honey & Burrata on Ciabatta (Easy Brunch Recipe)

Turn your skillet on high heat. Cut the ciabatta rolls in half lengthwise and slather with either butter or olive oil.

Toast the rolls (face side down) on the skillet for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown. Flip and toast for another 30 seconds to 1 minute

Bring a pot of water to a boil and poach to eggs, do this by dropping the eggs into the boiling water, swirl the water once with a spoon and let the eggs cook for about 4 minutes. Remove from the water and set aside in a bowl with about 1 tbsp of water in it to help them rest.

For the toast

In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, sambal oelek and red pepper flakes - and boom that&#039;s the hot honey!

For the hot honey

Top your toasted bread with burrata on one side and the egg on the other, embrace the runny yolk! (if you&#039;re into that) Salt &amp; pepper to taste.

(113 g; 1 stick) unsalted butter, (melted)

(120 ml) Sriracha

For The Marinade: In a large mixing bowl whisk together the Low FODMAP Garlic-Infused Oil, low FODMAP onion powder, Worcestershire sauce and smoked paprika. Add the chicken wings and toss the coat. Season liberally with salt and pepper and toss again. Let wings marinate while you tend to your oven.

Preheat your outdoor oven with hardwood to about 500°F (260°C); we used an Ooni Karu 16 Multi-Fuel Pizza Oven. Have ready a cast-iron pan that can hold all of the wings, such as a 12-inch (30.5 cm) skillet. Make sure entire skillet, including handle, can fit in the oven with the door closed.

Scrape wings and marinade into cast-iron skillet. Place in center of oven, close door, and roast for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, make your glaze.

For the Glaze: In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and low FODMAP garlic powder until powder dissolves. Whisk in the melted butter, Sriracha and honey until glaze ingredients are well combined.

After 15 minutes of cooking, remove the wings from the oven, flip them all over using tongs, and brush or spoon over about half of the glaze. Return to oven and roast 10 minutes more, top with remaining glaze, and then cook for 5 more minutes.

Place a small sauce pot over medium-low heat. Add the honey and crushed red pepper flakes. Stir the honey continuously as it comes to a simmer.

Once the honey starts to simmer, lower the heat if needed to ensure it does not boil. I repeat, DO NOT boil the honey. Allow it to simmer for 2 minutes forming very small bubbles, stirring continuously. Then remove it from the heat.

Stir in the apple cider vinegar and salt. Stir well to dissolve the salt crystals.

Then place a fine mesh sieve over a glass measuring pitcher. Pour the honey into the strainer to remove the red pepper flakes.

Allow the honey to cool, then pour it into storage jars. Keep the honey in a cool dark place for up to several months.

If preferred, you can also leave all or some of the red chili flakes in the honey instead of straining it all out. Just note, if the red pepper flakes are left in the honey it will continue to get hotter over time.

Hot Honey Buffalo Grilled Chicken Sandwich

Chicken Breasts, 2

Salt, a sprinkle

Cooking oil, a drizzle

Hot Sauce, 60 g

Mayonnaise, 20 g

Hot honey, 10 g

Sandwich buns, 2

Pickles,

Lettuce,

Tomatoes,

Prep the chicken & start searing

Thin out or butterfly the chicken breasts with a knife until they are an even thickness. Generously cover them with an even sprinkle of salt.

If you have the time, dry brine these ahead of time for up to 24 hours.

Set a griddle or pan over high heat. Once the pan is ripping hot, add a drizzle of oil and place the chicken breast down to sear.

While those develop some color, mix the sauce.

Emulsify the sauce

Add the hot sauce, mayo, and hot honey to a jar or container that seals. Close it and shake vigorously until well combined and emulsified. Taste and adjust if needed.

Finish the chicken

Check back on the chicken breasts. Once one side has developed a nice sear and some color, flip the breast over.

Continue searing until their temperature reaches 155°F/68°C. Thinned-out chicken breasts should take around 5-7 minutes to reach this temp.

Prep or gather any remaining toppings for the sandwich.
