The BEST Hot Dog Chili (SERIOUSLY!)

tomato paste

water

chili powder

cumin

salt

pepper

garlic powder

cayenne pepper (or

lb chuck

Easy to make, heartier than your average bun, super tasty.

Bread Machine Hamburger and Hotdog Buns

Tbsp unsalted butter

Tbsp sugar

bread flour

dry milk

Tbsp corn starch

Tbsp Vital Wheat Gluten flour

1¾ tsp active dry yeast

sesame seeds (to taste)

Add dough ingredients to your bread machine in the order above (or recommended by the manufacturer)

Set for the Dough cycle.

Once the bread machine is complete, remove the dough onto a lightly floured work surface. Line a large baking sheet with either a silicone mat or parchment paper. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and shape as either hamburger or hotdog buns.

Place the rolls on the lined baking sheet at least one inch apart. Cover loosely with a clean, lint-free towel, and allow to rest for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 375°

Mix the egg yolk and water to create an egg wash, and brush over the tops of your buns. Sprinkle with desired amount of sesame seeds.

Bake for 18 to 25 minutes, until lightly browned and cooked through. Allow to cool on a rack before slicing.

Løgene vendes i hvedemel og steges gyldne i rapsolie ved jævn varme.

Opbevares i en lufttæt beholder indtil brug.
