Perfectly delicious alfredo in under 20 minutes!

Dump And Start Instant Pot Alfredo

chicken broth

heavy cream

tsp minced garlic (dried)

salt and pepper (to taste)

noodles

parmesan cheese (shredded)

Dump and Start Instant Pot Alfredo

Add the broth, cream, garlic, salt, pepper and noodles to the instant pot in that order. DO NOT STIR, but make sure all noodles are&nbsp;covered. If you need to move some noodles around, thats okay.

Set your Instant Pot to Manual for 6 minutes (I like my noodles with a little bite to them, if you like yours softer I'd recommend cooking for a minute or two longer) and then let it naturally release its pressure for an additional 6 minutes then quick release.

Let the noodles and sauce sit for a minute or so. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. Your cheese will not melt into the sauce if it doesn't cool for a minute or two.

Gradually stir in the parmesan cheese.

It's ready to eat, Enjoy!

Instant Pot Alfredo Dump and Start- Fast, Easy and SO GOOD! #StayHome COOK #WithMe

Instant Pot Skinny Alfredo is just as tasty as my famous Dump &amp; Start recipe only without the heavy cream! Substituting evaporated milk for the heavy cream cuts the calorie and fat content by more than half making this a guilt-free meal!

Instant Pot Skinny Alfredo

evaporated milk

garlic

salt and pepper

dry linguine noodles

cheese

Place the broth, garlic, salt and pepper into the Instant Pot liner. Break noodles in half and add to the pot. All noodles should be covered with the broth. DO NOT STIR.

Cook on Manual HIGH for 6 minutes. Allow for a 6 min NPR before QR the pressure.&nbsp;Stir the noddles, some may be slightly stuck together, but that is okay. Once you add in the evaporated milk and warm through, all will be well.

Pour the evaporated milk into a SEPARATE BOWL. Temper the milk by adding a scoop of noodles at a time into the milk and stirring. Once about half of the noodles have been mixed with the evaporated milk, dump the milk and noodles back into the Instant Pot.

Turn the Instant Pot onto Saute LOW and gradually stir in the parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese has melted completely and the sauce has thickened. Enjoy!

This instant pot pasta is one of the quickest, easiest meals ever which makes it one of my favorites on a busy weeknight! This creamy garlic pasta comes together in just minutes and is loaded with tons of nutty Parmesan flavor along with tender-crisp broccoli.

Creamy Instant Pot Pasta with Broccoli

olive oil

oregano

penne pasta

vegetable broth

Kosher salt

Turn instant pot to the sauté function and add olive oil.

Sauté minced garlic, oregano, and garlic powder along with a couple pinches of salt and pepper for a minute. Stir frequently.

Add a splash of veggie broth to help delgaze the pan if the garlic is sticking to the bottom of the pan. Add broccoli.

Add pasta, remaining vegetable broth, and heavy cream along with a couple large pinches of salt and pepper.

Stir to combine, seal the instant pot and cook on high pressure for 4 minutes.

Use the quick-release vent and gently press on it to remove the steam.

Remove the lid, stir once, then let it sit for 3 minutes.

Stir in Parmesan cheese until cheese melts. Season to taste with salt and pepper and enjoy!

This pasta is so easy! I love that everything cooks right in the instant pot. We will be making this all the time!

Great recipe! I don't have an instant pot, so I made this on the stove top. The cooking time took a bit longer, but everything came out well!

Instant Pot Chicken Alfredo is healthy Italian-inspired comfort food made with no cream or butter but milk instead! This deliciously thick and creamy restaurant quality pasta dish is a one pot dinner ready in only 25 minutes.

Instant Pot Chicken Alfredo

1.5 lbs chicken breasts

chicken or vegetable stock (low sodium)

tbsp oil

tsp salt

black pepper (to taste)

11 oz any fettuccine (linguine

cold 2% or 3.25% milk

cornstarch

Parmesan cheese (grated)

garlic (grated)

peas

tbsp parsley (for garnish)

To Instant Pot, add chicken, stock, oil, salt and pepper.

Break noodles in half and add criss cross in about 6 layers. It helps to prevent noodles from sticking.

Close the lid and move pressure valve to Sealing, and press Pressure Cook on High or Manual for 8 minutes if you like pasta al dente, 10 minutes - very soft, gluten free - 5 minutes.

Release pressure using Quick Release method – turn pressure valve to Venting.

Open the lid when safe to do so. It will be liquidy and not pretty - do not worry.

Press Saute.

In a small bowl, whisk 1 cup (if using chicken thighs) or 2 cups (for chicken breast) of cold milk with cornstarch.

Add to Instant Pot along with Parmesan cheese and garlic. Using tongs, stir gently while separating the noodles.

Cook for 2-3 minutes until sauce starts to bubble and thickens.

Optional: Add peas, gently stir and let chicken alfredo sit for a minute to melt the peas. If it is still a bit runny, you can let dish sit for another 5 minutes or so, it will thicken.

Sprinkle with parsley and serve warm.

Hi Olena,  I made this last night, first of all, it is so good. I should have watched the video first, not that I had any problems, it would have answered some questions. I used 16oz of spaghetti &amp; 3 cups of broth, but first of all I put 2 frozen chicken breast on bottom of pot, then I thought the spaghetti needed to covered with liquid, so pulled them out &amp; put on top, if I had just read! I would have known. I put the pot on high for 10 minutes, The spaghetti &amp; breast were cooked just right, took out the breast &amp; put in the peas, only 2 cups in the package. Again I should have read, I didn't have any milk so used a plant based, (I should have used half &amp; half) it was so thin that I put in a jar of alfredo sauce. But what can you except from a single, living alone, retired man of 85? I put 6 pints in the freezer, then I will make this again. Maybe I shouldn't tell this, I had the same recipe from Betty Crocker, but not pressure pot &amp; said to cook in the over for most an hour. With the temporary 120 here in Phoenix, don't want to have oven on.

This is a regular recipe in my house. My kids (10 and 6) request this meal! It’s so delicious and I love how clean the ingredients are. So easy to make and definitely not a boring dish. I love this one! And every time I follow the video, Joy makes me laugh! 😄

Instant Pot Creamy Alfredo Pasta

lb chicken breast

oz farfalle (bow tie pasta)

broccoli florets

shallot, (minced)

tsp each; onion and garlic powder, paprika and oregano

salt and pepper, (to taste)

milk

parmesan cheese

tbsp cream cheese

tbsp butter

Turn instant pot on sauté mode. Add oil, shallots, chicken and all the seasoning. Stir to coat chicken with seasoning. Sauté for about 10-12 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.

Add pasta and chicken broth. Give it a good stir.

Turn off sauté mode. Cover the instant pot and seal the vent knob. Turn on high pressure for 3 minutes. When the time is up, quick release all pressure.

Remove lid and turn on sauté mode. Add alfredo sauce ingredients and broccoli and stir. Cook for about 7-8 minutes stirring often.

When done garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley and serve.

This was a terrible recipe!  You did not give enough details to prepare this correctly.  I am new to Instant Pot cooking and from the short time I've had it,  I know there are some rules to follow. I followed the recipe, but the Fafelle that was above the liquid is not done. Rule#1 Submerge pasta to cook completely. You didn't say whether to use fresh or frozen or pre-cooked broccoli. I used frozen, so no way is it done. This whole pot is going in the trash! What a waste of chicken breasts. You've got to write for everyone. Some of us are beginners and not a pro such as yourself.

My first internet recipe review.

I loved it!   I am always wary of cooking pasta in the instant pot, but this turned out perfect following recipe.   Sauce was thick and creamy.

I added a few pieces of bacon and 1/2 tsp of crushed red pepper.

Cilantro garnish added great flavor (I also love cilantro, so…)

Just made this for dinner but I didn’t have cream. The flavour was great, everyone loved it, very quick weekday meal. I will definitely be making this again, thanks for sharing!

I've made this a few times: exactly as written (delicious) and also lightened up as follows (still delicious): Substitutions - reduced fat milk, half and half (instead of cream), 4 oz of Neufchatel cheese (instead of 3 oz of cream cheese), 8-10 oz of whole wheat fettucine  (cooked for four minutes instead of 3), and an additional cup of broccoli.  Great recipe.

This was so easy to make and true to Silvia’s promise - no leftovers.  It was so fun to watch the kids taking seconds and thirds.  And the adults loved this recipe, too!

Easy Instant Pot Fettuccini Alfredo

Fettucini (Or linguine)

Butter

Garlic (minced or 1/2 teaspoon granulated)

Broth (Chicken or Vegetable)

Cream (I used heavy cream)

Parmesan cheese (pecorino Romano works well too, shredded)

Salt and pepper (to taste)

Parmesan cheese (shredded)

(chopped)

Place the fettunicini at the bottom of the instant pot. Break the noodles into half if needed.

Add butter and minced garlic. Add the broth and make sure the pasta is almost covered in broth. Close lid with vent in sealing position.

Pressure Cook the pasta noodles on high pressure for 5 minutes. The general rule of thumb is to pressure cook pasta for 1 minute less than half the time on the pasta box.

When the instant pot beeps, quick release the pressure manually. Stir well.

Add the cream, parmesan and stir well until the cheese melts. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.

Garnish with parmesan and parsley before serving.

Really good! I added extra garlic but otherwise followed the recipe exactly as written. To make it a balanced meal, I added some cut up leftover steak, cherry tomatoes, and steamed broccoli. Big hit with my family!

So many IP recipes call for adding the cream to pressure cook WITH the pasta. This curdles and breaks the cream and the result is a sour mess. This is one of the few recipes out there doing this correctly. Thank you!

This hit the spot! I had some broth and heavy cream that needed using up and this came out perfect! Made it in a stove top pressure cooker. My pasta said cook for 8 min. I was worried 7 min would be too long and did 6 but they were a touch under done. But 
by the time it cooked in broth for a touch more with the lid off and in the cream and Parm until it had the consistency I wanted the pasta was perfect! Thanks for what ng the recipe !
