Warm up this holiday season with these Hot Chocolate Thumbprint Cookies. Made with semi-sweet chocolate, vanilla, COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, miniature marshmallows and more, these hot chocolate thumbprint cookies will fly off the plate.

Hot Chocolate Thumbprint Cookies

vanilla

Microwave butter and 4 oz. chocolate in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 min. or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended.

Add sugar; mix well. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add flour; mix well.

Heat oven to 350ºF. Shape dough into 64 (1-inch) balls; place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheets sprayed with cooking spray.

Bake 8 min. or just until centers of cookies are set. (Do not overbake.) Cool on baking sheet 2 min. Press indentation into center of each cookie. Remove cookies to wire racks; cool completely.

Microwave COOL WHIP and remaining chocolate in microwaveable bowl 1 min. or until chocolate is completely melted when stirred. Spoon into indentations in cookies, adding about 1/2 tsp. chocolate mixture to each. Top with marshmallows. Let stand until chocolate mixture is firm.

ready-to-spread vanilla frosting

JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows,

BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted

Press cut sides of 24 marshmallow halves, 1 at a time, into sugar. Gently press marshmallow halves, sugar sides up, into frosting on cookies for the lambs' ears and noses as shown in photo. Decorate cookies with remaining marshmallow halves, cut sides down, as shown in photo.

Spoon chocolate into small resealable plastic bag. Cut small piece from one bottom corner of bag; use to pipe chocolate onto cookies for the mouths and eyes.

Refrigerate 15 min. or until chocolate is firm.

Combine first 4 ingredients in large bowl. Add milk and corn syrup; mix well.

Use moistened fingers to press 2 Tbsp. graham crumb mixture into ball; flatten into 3-inch round. Wrap dough around marshmallow to completely enclose marshmallow, then re-roll into ball. Repeat with remaining dough and marshmallows.

Cover plate with waxed paper. Place coconut in medium bowl. Roll balls, 1 at a time, in coconut until evenly coated with coconut; place on prepared plate.

Combine 1-1/2 cups cookie crumbs and butter; press onto bottom of 9-inch square pan. Refrigerate 15 min.

Meanwhile, beat peanut butter, dry vanilla pudding mix and 1-1/2 cups milk in medium bowl with mixer until blended.

Beat chocolate pudding mix and remaining milk in separate medium bowl with mixer 2 min. Blend in melted chocolate; spread over crust.

Reserve 1 Tbsp. of the remaining cookie crumbs for topping; sprinkle remaining crumbs over chocolate layer. Cover with marshmallows, then spread with peanut butter mixture.

Refrigerate 3 hours. Top with COOL WHIP just before serving; sprinkle with reserved cookie crumbs.
