Sausage Egg Roll In A Bowl

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook, stirring often to crumble, until cooked through. Do not drain.

Add the coleslaw mix, garlic, ginger, and soy sauce to the skillet with the sausage. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until cabbage has softened a bit.

Remove from the heat and top with the green onions and drizzle with sesame oil.

Serve immediately.

<p>Mix the onion and lemon juice together with some seasoning and set aside for 10 mins. When ready to serve, use a vegetable peeler to slice the courgettes into thin ribbons. Put into a bowl with the onion and lemon juice, zest, mint and oil. Carefully toss together and serve.</p>

Discard the outer leaves from the chicory and slice in half lengthways. Cut out the base root, then slice into long, thin slivers and rinse. Pat dry and put in a bowl. Cut each pear quarter into 3 and toss with a little lemon juice to prevent discolouring. Add to the bowl with the parsley and walnut halves.

Make a dressing by mixing the walnut oil with the remaining lemon juice and seasoning, then add to the bowl. Toss everything together, then plate up, crumbling over the cheese. Serve immediately.

Spicy Oven Fried Catfish

olive oil spray

yellow cornmeal

all-purpose flour

salt

black pepper

cayenne pepper

lemon pepper

paprika

eggs

hot sauce

catfish fillets

Preheat oven to 425 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper liberally sprayed with non-stick olive oil spray.

In a brown bag or ziploc bag, add cornmeal, flour, salt, pepper, cayenne, lemon pepper, and paprika and shake together.

In a deep pie plate or large shallow bowl, whisk together eggs and hot sauce.

Add each fillet to the bag of cornmeal breading to coat then dip into beaten eggs on both sides, then lastly add back into the cornmeal breading and shake liberally to coat well. Place the fillet on the coated baking sheet. Repeat with each fillet.

Liberally spray the tops of each fillet with non-stick baking spray coating the fish well until completely covered in spray. Bake for 25-30 minutes depending on thickness of fillets until golden brown but still juicy in the inside.

Remove fish and cool for 5 minutes then serve with lemon and chopped parsley.

These lettuce wraps are low carb dinner perfection. We love the dipping sauce and even my kids gobble these up!

Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps

cauliflower (riced)

scallions

cilantro

chicken

red pepper flakes

lime juice

lettuce

Heat a large non-stick skillet over high heat. Add the olive oil to the skillet and heat.

Add the cauliflower, garlic, ginger, and soy sauce to the hot oil and cook for 4 minutes, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat and transfer to a large bowl. Toss in the scallions and cilantro.

Return the pan to the heat and add another teaspoon of olive oil to the skillet. When hot, add the ground chicken and cook until not longer pink, breaking up the meat as you cook it.

Add the garlic, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes to the chicken and continue cooking for 1 minute.

Add to the bowl with the cauliflower and toss to combine.

Whisk together all the ingredients for the sauce.

To serve, spoon the chicken mixture into the pieces of lettuce. Top with scallions and cilantro. Drizzle sauce over top or use as a dip.

These Asian chicken lettuce wraps are low carb and filled with cauliflower fried rice. They're hearty and filling and just the perfect low carb Chinese food when you're really craving take out.

The bread on the bottom of this meatloaf is optional, but I find it&#039;s perfect for soaking up any extra liquid/fat from the turkey as it cooks. I discard the bread before serving, but you do you.

Turkey Meatloaf

turkey

dry stuffing mix (such as Stove Top)

milk

Parmesan cheese

onion (finely diced)

green bell pepper (finely diced)

garlic powder

ground pepper

ketchup

brown sugar

mustard

Worcestershire sauce

bread (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine turkey, stuffing mix, milk, Parmesan, onion, pepper, egg, salt, garlic powder, and pepper in a large bowl and mix well with your hands.

Place two slices of bread on the bottom of a baking sheet. Spoon mixture onto the bread and shape it into a loaf.

Bake for 30 minutes and remove from the oven for the sauce.

In a small bowl, stir together the ketchup, sugar, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Spoon over the meatloaf and return to the oven for 30 minutes or until loaf is cooked through.

Let sit 5 minutes before slicing and serving. Remove the bread from the bottom of each slice of meatloaf before serving.

Love this meatloaf!!!! Everyone tells me that it’s sooo moist and the ketchup mixture is the absolute best! I always have to make extra for my husband!!

Best turkey receipe ever thank you, we all love it.

We like this better than meatloaf made with ground beef.  I follow almost exactly except I put a good squirt of ketchup and a dash of Worcestershire in with the turkey and mix it in.  I usually do not use the brown sugar.  My husband requests it whenever he sees anything that even mentions meatloaf.

My second time preparing this meatloaf. My family enjoyed so much the first time, the recipe had to be repeated.
