o I'm going to put together my Outback Steakhouse dipping sauce. I already
have my 1/2 cup of mayonnaise in here. Next, I'm going to add my two
tablespoons of horseradish. Make sure your horseradish is fresh. You may
need to buy it new. You can buy it in the refrigerated section of the
grocery store, because the older that it gets the less fresh that it gets,
and it loses the wonderful, spicy flavor.

So we've got our 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, two tablespoons of horseradish, and
now we're going to add a couple of teaspoons of ketchup, to just make this
nice and pink. I've already measured out most of my spices here. That's
garlic powder, oregano, salt, paprika. I'm going to stir these together.
We're going to finish off with some fresh cracked pepper, and a couple of
shakes of cayenne pepper. Not too much or it will get really spicy on you.

All righty, there we go. That's our Outback Steakhouse dipping sauce. I'm
going to let this sit in my refrigerator for about 30 minutes, before I'm
going to use it. This would go well on the Aussie fries, or cheese fries,
or just about anything else that you would enjoy a spicy sauce on top of.

Outback Steakhouse Caesar Salad Dressing Recipe

egg substitute

parmesan cheese

water

olive oil

lemon juice

anchovy paste

garlic

sugar

pepper

parsley

Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Beat with an electric mixer for about 1-2 minutes. Cover and chill for several hours.   This salad dressing stays fresh for about two weeks.

Outback Steakhouse Alice Springs Chicken

mustard

chicken breasts (4 portions)

McCormick Season All

bacon

mushrooms

Colby Jack Cheese

Blend ingredients for the honey mustard until smooth and free from lumps. The corn syrup may be adjusted depending on how sharp the mustard might be or to your taste.

Honey Mustard Sauce

Rub chicken breasts with Seasonal All and set aside to marinate for 1 hour.

While the chicken is marinating, fry the bacon until crisp and drain it.

Sauté the chicken in a pan over medium heat with just enough oil to prevent sticking.

Cook the chicken on both sides until slightly golden and cooked in the middle but not dry.

Remove the chicken from the pan.

Spread honey mustard on the chicken breasts.

Top each chicken breast with a layer of mushrooms and three slices of bacon

Sprinkle enough shredded Colby-Jack cheese on top to completely cover the chicken.

Pop the chicken in a 350°F heated oven or in a microwave just until the cheese melts.

Sprinkle with parsley and serve with honey mustard sauce.

You can make some magic in your kitchen when you make this blooming onion at home.

Outback Steakhouse Bloomin Onion

cornstarch

flour

garlic (minced)

beer

Vidalia onions (Or other large sweet onion)

Combine and mix well. Mix cornstarch, flour, and seasonings until well blended. Add beer and mix well. Cut about 3/4" off top of onion and peel. Cut into onion 12 to 16 vertical wedges, but do not cut through the bottom root end. Remove about 1" of petals from the center of the onion. You may want to separate the onion petals slightly, but do not do this too much or you will destroy the onion.&nbsp;

Dip onion in seasoned flour; remove excess by shaking. Separate petals to coat thoroughly with batter. Dip in the batter. Dip in flour mixture again. Gently place in fryer basket and deep-fry at 375 to 400 degrees for 1 and 1/2 minutes. Turn over and fry an additional 1 and 1/2 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Place onion upright in a shallow bowl and remove center core with circular cutter or apple corer. Serve hot with Creamy Chili Sauce.

Outback Steakhouse Bloomin Fried Chicken

horseradish (or a little less)

all-purpose flour

buttermilk

chicken breast (pounded to ½ inch thick)

Prepare the bloom sauce by combining all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Stir well. Cover and place in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Place the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, ground black pepper, and cayenne pepper into a pie plate. Stir to combine.

Place the buttermilk into another pie plate, add the water, and stir to combine.

Place the chicken between two pieces of plastic wrap, and gently pound it with a meat mallet until it is ½ inch thick. If the chicken breast is greater than 1 inch thick, slice it in half horizontally.

Place a wire rack on top of a cookie sheet.

Dredge the chicken in the seasoned flour and shake off the excess.

Dip the chicken into the buttermilk and shake off the excess.

Dip the chicken into the seasoned flour for a second time.

Place the breaded chicken onto the wire rack and repeat for the remaining pieces of chicken. The chicken should rest for about 5 minutes before cooking.

Pour 1 to 2 inches of vegetable oil into a skillet. Heat the oil to 350°F.

Place 1 or 2 pieces of chicken into the oil and fry until done, about 7 to 8 minutes. Turn the chicken breasts over while frying to make sure both sides of the chicken are golden brown. Then remove the chicken from the oil and let it drain on a wire rack.

To serve, place the fried chicken on a plate and drizzle some of the bloom sauce on top.
