This pork tenderloin marinade is a sweet and savory blend of olive oil, garlic, mustard, brown sugar and herbs. Marinated pork tenderloin can be grilled, broiled or sauteed for an easy dinner that the whole family will love!

Pork Tenderloin Marinade

Place the pork tenderloin in a bowl or resealable gallon sized bag.

In a medium sized bowl, whisk together the olive oil, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, lemon zest, parsley, thyme, salt, pepper and garlic.

Pour the marinade over the meat. Marinate for at least 1 hour, or up to 8 hours.

Grill, broil or saute the pork over medium high heat until a thermometer inserted into the center of the meat registers 145 degrees F. This typically takes about 15 minutes depending on the size of your tenderloins.

Let the meat rest for 5 minutes, then slice and serve.

Honey Garlic Dijon Pork Tenderloin Marinade

Salt and pepper,

In a bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, garlic, rosemary, and thyme. Season pork on all sides with salt and pepper, to taste.

Place pork in a large zip-top plastic bag. Pour half of the marinade over the pork and toss to coat. Seal the bag and refrigerate the pork in the marinade for at least 30 minutes, or up to 24 hours. Rotate the pork occasionally so that the marinade touches all sides.

Set aside the remaining ½ of the marinade in a separate bowl, cover, and refrigerate for later.

Remove pork from the marinade and place in a baking dish that has been coated with cooking spray. Discard bag with the marinade. Allow pork to come to room temperature while you preheat the oven.

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.

Remove cover, brush with reserved marinade, and place under the broiler for about 5 minutes (or until a crispy crust forms on top), and pork reaches an internal temperature of 140°F - 145°F.

Remove from oven and allow pork to rest for about 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with reserved marinade.

TO COOK THE TENDERLOIN IN THE OVEN:

Remove pork from the marinade and allow to come to room temperature while you heat the grill. Discard bag with the marinade.

Heat the grill to medium heat. Place pork on the grill and cover. Cook for about 12-14 minutes, turning every few minutes, until pork reaches an internal temperature of 140°F - 145°F.

Allow pork to rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with reserved marinade.

Honey Garlic Pork Tenderloin Marinade

lemon or lime juice

Combine all of the marinade ingredients together.

Place the tenderloin in a large sealing plastic bag and pour the marinade over top. Seal the bag then swish the marinade around to coat the pork.

Refrigerate overnight.

Preheat your oven or BBQ to 350 °F.

Cook in the oven or on the BBQ until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 140 °F. Remove, place on a plate and tent with tinfoil for 10 minutes. The internal temp will rise to over 145°F. Slice and serve.

Instant Pot Garlic Pork Tenderloin

oregano

Set Instant Pot to Saute and add oil. Pat dry the pork.

Season pork with oregano, rosemary, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Add pork to the hot oil and brown on all sides. Remove the pork from the IP and set aside. Add chicken broth to the Instant Pot and scrape up all the browned bits.

Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl whisk together soy sauce, garlic, maple syrup, olive oil, and brown mustard; stir into the chicken broth.

Return pork to the IP; coat around in the liquid. Turn OFF the Instant Pot. Secure the lid, make sure vent is set to “Sealing”. Pressure cook on HIGH for 5 minutes. Then do a Natural Release for 10 minutes. Manually release any remaining pressure. Remove cover and check that internal temperature of pork registers at 145˚F. If it’s not there yet, just cover with the lid and let it sit a couple minutes. Remove pork from IP and let rest for 5 to 10 minutes before cutting.

While pork rests, make the gravy by whisking together the cornstarch and water in a small mixing bowl.  Whisk the cornstarch mixture into the chicken broth inside the IP, add a little bit at a time, to thicken the cooking liquid; cook to a desired thickness. Taste for salt and pepper and adjust to taste.

Slice and serve with prepared gravy.

Place pork chops in container

Place pork tenderloin into a resealable plastic bag.

Made marinade

In a small mixing bowl whisk together olive oil, brown sugar, garlic, lemon juice, soy sauce, white wine vinegar, ground mustard, salt, and pepper.

Pour marinade over pork chops and refrigerate

Pour mixture over the pork tenderloin in the plastic bag. Seal and place in the refrigerator for 4 hours to overnight.

Preheat skillet and oven

To cook, heat an oven-safe heavy skillet over high heat. Preheat an oven to 400 degrees.

Sear and bake pork chops

Sear the pork tenderloin for 2 minutes on each side. Transfer skillet immediately to the oven and cook until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees, about 15 minutes.

Let pork chops rest and serve

Pork Tenderloin Mustard Marinade with Apple Cider

Whisk all marinade ingredients together in a bowl. (If there are any large chunks of fruit in the preserves, mash them up a bit with a fork.)

For the marinade:

Take a look at the tenderloin and if it has a thin and tapered end, fold that end onto itself to make it about the same thickness all the way across. Now cut the tenderloin into 4 equal-sized pieces.

Add the 4 pieces to a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade into the bag, close it, then transfer to the fridge and marinate for 4 to 6 hours.

Heat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Take the meat out of the marinade and dab off excess marinade using paper towels.

Heat the olive oil in a cast iron pan until shimmering. Add the tenderloin pieces and lightly sear on all sides until lightly browned.

Transfer the pan, uncovered, to the oven and cook the meat until it has reached an internal temperature of 150 degrees F.* (15 - 20 minutes; flip the pieces over after 8 minutes). Remove the pan from the oven, transfer the meat to a plate, cover loosely with aluminum foil and let the pork rest for 8 minutes.

For the pork:

While the pork is resting, set the pan with the drippings back on the stovetop.

Add the minced onion and heat, stirring continuously, until the all the pan drippings are sopped up (about 1 minute).

Pour in the apple cider and cook until reduced by about half (about 2 minutes).

Stir in thyme, Dijon mustard and butter and cook until thickened a bit.

Season to taste with salt.

Grilled Pork Tenderloin

pork tenderloin (about 1 to ½ pounds)

garlic (minced (about 1 tablespoon))

Marinade

In a small bowl or liquid measuring cup, whisk together the garlic, apple cider vinegar, mustard, maple syrup, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Pour the marinade in a large, sturdy ziptop bag.

Trim

Cut away the silver skin from the pork tenderloin. Trim away any large pieces of excess fat. Place pork in the bag with marinade and seal it tightly, “squishing” the bag so that the pork is coated on all sides.

Refrigerate

Place the bag in a baking dish or on a plate to catch any drips. Refrigerate to marinate for 2 hours or up to 1 day, turning occasionally. Let stand at room temperature 30 minutes prior to grilling.

Preheat

When ready to cook, preheat the grill to medium (about 350 degrees F). Make sure the grates are very clean. Remove the pork from the marinade, shaking off any excess. Discard the marinade and bag. Place the pork on the grill and cover.

Grill

Cook until the pork reaches 135 degrees F on an instant read thermometer, about 12 to 15 minutes.

Rest

Remove the tenderloin to a plate, cover, and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!

Marinate pork tenderloin (here is my favorite marinade recipe), or rub it with your favorite seasonings, at least 2 hours before cooking.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Heat a grill or grill pan over very high heat.

Once the grill is hot, place the tenderloins on the hot, greased grill and sear over high heat, rotating the meat every 1-2 minutes, until well browned on all sides.

Place pork tenderloins in a baking dish and cover the pan with tinfoil. Bake for about 18-25 minutes, or until you reach an internal temperature of between 145° F – 160° F, depending on how well done you like your meat.

Remove from oven and allow the meat to rest for 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
