Irish Pub Spinach and Artichoke Melt.

spinach frozen chopped spinach (thawed),

jar marinated artichokes (chopped, 6.7)

sourdough or soda bread

Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Whisk in flour until it makes a paste. Cook over medium-low heat for another 30 seconds, then slowly pour in 1/2 cup of milk. Stir and cook one minute, if your paste gets too thick splash in more milk. Add cream cheese, cheddar cheese and a pinch of salt + pepper. Stir until the cheeses are melted. Stir in the spinach + artichokes and cook over low heat until the spinach has wilted into the cheese.

Heat a skillet (or griddle, etc) over medium-low heat. Butter the outsides of every bread slice. If desired, spread the insides of the bread with mustard and then spread a good amount (anywhere from 1-3 tablespoons) of the spinach and artichoke mixture on the inside (the non-buttered side) of each slice. Add your top piece of bread, buttered-side up.

Place in the hot skillet and cook until each side is golden and crisp and cheese has melted, about 3-4 minutes per side. Plate, slice and EAT...with a large side of fresh fried potato chips. :)

Chicken breast, wrapped in bacon, smothered in barbecue sauce and topped with melted cheese. A British pub classic, easy to make at home!

Preheat the oven to 200C/400F.

Wrap each chicken breast in two rashers/strips of bacon and place in a shallow baking dish.

Place in the oven and cook for 25 minutes – until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the middle.

Remove the dish with the chicken from the oven. Spoon the BBQ sauce on and around the chicken.

Sprinkle the chicken with the cheddar and mozzarella.

Place back in the oven for 5 minutes, until the cheese has melted.

Serve the chicken with mashed potatoes and vegetables.

For the pulled chicken:

    Rub the chicken thighs in KNORR Professional garlic puree, mixed herb puree and mixed peppercorn puree. Ensuring you get under the skin.     Add vegetable oil, place in covered gastro tray and cook in combi oven for 2 hours at 140c.     Leave to cool slightly.     Remove skin and pick meat.     Chill. 

For the avocado:

    Destone and scoop flesh from avocados.     Cut into small dice.     Combine with lime juice and HELLMANN's Real Mayonnaise.     Season to taste. 

This is the best Shepherd&#39;s Pie recipe made with ground lamb (or beef) with vegetables in a rich gravy topped with creamy mashed potatoes. It&#39;s a single serving version of a classic dish.

Shepherd's Pie For One

 Chop the potato into quarters and place them in a small 1-quart saucepan. Add the milk and garlic and stir. Add a little extra milk if the potatoes are not almost completely covered by the milk. Cook for 15 minutes, until potatoes are tender.

Strain the potatoes with a fine-mesh strainer over a medium-sized bowl and reserve the milk mixture.

Return the potatoes to the pan and add ¼-cup of the milk mixture. Mash the potatoes with an immersion blender or potato masher and add additional reserved milk as needed until the potatoes are thick and creamy. Stir in butter and salt and set aside.

To make mashed potatoes

Heat the oven to 350 degrees F (177 degrees C).

In a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, heat the oil, add the chopped onions and cook, stirring occasionally for 2 minutes. Add the garlic and ground lamb and season with Italian seasoning and salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, until lamb is cooked through, about 4 minutes. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and vegetables.

Add the broth and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until most of the liquid has evaporated. Remove the pan from the heat and set aside.

Grease a 10-ounce ramekin with butter or cooking oil spray. Add the beef mixture to the ramekin.

Top with the mashed potatoes and add 1 tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese, if using. Bake for 20 minutes.

Remove from the oven and enjoy immediately.

For the seabass

Bring the water to the boil then whisk in the KNORR Professional Chicken Jelly Bouillon.Place the fish into a small pan and ladle enough bouillon in to cover the bottom of the pan.Loosely cover with foil then bake for 6-8 minutes.

For the stew

Peel and dice the shallots, dice the peppers and slice the chorizo.Heat the oil and sweat the vegetables and chorizo without colour for 2-3 minutes then add in the chick peas, KNORR Professional Garlic Pureeand harissa paste.Cook for a further 1-2 minutes then add in the prawns and pour in the remaining bouillon.Simmer for 3-4minutes then add in the olives and capers.Remove from the heat and stir in the yoghurt.

To serve

Squeeze the lemon into the stew then spoon into serving bowls.Sit the seabass on top and garnish with the micro herbs.
