Baked healthy onion crackers are guilt-free munching. Low calorie tea time snack with very few ingredients. These crackers are quick and easy to make. Baked crackers are very healthy and it’s made with whole wheat flour, onion, cilantro etc. These crackers are much better and healthy than store bought. Baked savory onion crackers are crispy and delicious. These healthy whole wheat onion crackers are loaded with white sesame seeds and are mildly spiced.

(250 gramsrams) wheat flour (aata)

medium finely chopped onion

cilantro (coriander/dhaniya) leaves

green chili

onion powder

¼ tsp black pepper powder (kaali mirch powder)

tbsp dried fenugreek leaves (Kasuri methi)

½ tbsp yogurt(dahi)/ sour cream

tbsp cumin seeds (jeera)

tbsp sesame seeds (safed til)

½ tsp baking soda

Salt

In a large bowl add wheat flour, salt to taste, cumin seeds, sesame seeds, green chili, fresh cilantro leaves, baking soda, onion powder, dried fenugreek leaves, finely chopped onion and sour cream (you can also add yogurt/curd). Mix well and add 4 tbsp olive oil. Knead very tight dough using very less water. Cover dough with damp cloth or with wet paper towel. Let it sit for 20 minutes. .

After 20 minutes, massage dough for the final time. Now take 1 tbsp dough, make round ball and roll in as thin as possible. With a square cookie cutter cut it and prepare rest of them in the same way. Using a fork prick them (crackers won’t puff up). .

On a cooking sheet transfer all the crackers and bake them for 22 minutes on 350 F/ 180C. Take them out after 11 minutes and flip them and put it back in the oven. Do not over bake as onion will turn bitter. After 22 minutes, take out crackers from the oven and let them cool down. Crunchy, munchy healthy baked crackers are ready for serving. Serve with your favorite topping or simply enjoy guilt free munching with tea.

Basic Bruschetta

½ baguette, thinly sliced

tomatoes

shallot, finely chopped (or 1/4 onion)

(125 ml) fresh basil, chopped

(10 ml) balsamic vinegar

With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F).

Place the bread slices on a large baking sheet. Drizzle with 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of the oil. Toast in the oven for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool on the baking sheet.

Prepare your tomatoes. Here is the technique to seed a tomato (= remove the seeds!). Cut the tomatoes into quarters. With your thumbs, pull out the juice and seeds from the tomatoes and cut the flesh into small dice.

In a bowl, combine the tomatoes, shallot, basil, vinegar, garlic, and the remaining oil. Season with salt and pepper. Spoon the tomato mixture onto the toasted bread.

Je n'ai pas aimé. Peut-etre trop de vinaigre balsamique

Pour éviter que le pain ne devienne mouillé, je tartine les croûtons avec de la ricotta.

J'aime bien vos recettes… en particulier les bruschettas car elles ont un goût pigmenté grâce aux ingrédients combinées ensemble; basilic, ail, etc.

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta until <i>al dente</i>. Rinse under cold running water. Drain and set aside.

In the same pot, cook vegetables in oil for 5 to 10 minutes. Add meat and crumble with the back of a spoon until golden brown. Add remaining ingredients and macaroni. Stir until macaroni has absorbed liquid. Adjust seasoning.

Je trouve ça fascinant comment le monde capote avec le nom comme si Ricardo l'avait inventé. Le nom date des années 30 comme le pâté chinois. Excellente recette!

Je viens de faire cette recette ce soir, et toute la famille a aimé. Et très simple à faire.

Je trouve que le nom du plat est un peu insultant. Le goût pardonne toute! Mais je pense qu'il faut y aller léger sur la soya, des fois trop c'est comme pas assez. En ajouter plustre au besoin!

Bonne recette faite avec du poulet haché, du bouillon de poulet et la moitié de la sauce soya.

Cream of Carrot Soup

(30 ml) butter

chicken broth

(750 ml) carrots, peeled and sliced (about 7)

(250 ml) potatoes,

In a saucepan, soften the onion in the butter over medium heat. Add the carrots, potatoes and broth. Bring to a boil. 

Cover and simmer gently for about 20 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.In a blender, purée the soup until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

Excellente!! La texture est incroyable! Très bonnes, j'ai rajouté à mon goût 1c. Soupe d'ail et une pincé d'épices italiennes. C'etait excellent!

meilleur potage au moooonde!! j'ai mis un quart de navet parce qu'il trainait dans mon frigo, avec du bouillon de poulet au thym fait maison... c'était in-cro-yable!!! je le refait la semaine prochain c'est sur!

Cette recette de potage est tres délicieuse, j ai ajouté un demi navet et du thym , persil ,muscade et 2 cuil a thé de lait coco wow sublime!!!

Délicieux !! Idéal pour une entrée ou un repas. Si vous désirez en congelé, il faut au moins doublé la recette.

Bonne recette avec l'ajout d'herbes et un peu de lait de coco pour éclaircir le potage.  Très pratique avec des ingrédients qu'on a toujours sous la main.

Je trouvais que le potage manquait un peu de saveur, même en utilisant un bouillon de perdrix maison... J'ai ajouté 1 c. à thé de cari (ou curry) et c'était parfait! Mes enfants ont vraiment aimé aussi :)
