Garlic Shrimp in the Microwave

Defrost your shrimp if it is frozen or peel and devein if fresh.

In a small bowl combine butter, garlic, parsley, and salt. Microwave on high for 30 seconds or until the butter is melted and then mix.

Place shrimp into a microwave safe baking dish, pour butter mixture over shrimp, cover with a plate or plastic wrap and microwave on high for about 3 minutes or until the shrimp are pink.

Drizzle with juice from half a lemon and additional salt to taste.

Thai Shrimp Salad

lemongrass (remove the tough outer leaves

brown sugar

shrimp (tail on)

shallot (thinly sliced)

Tablespoons chopped fresh mint

Tablespoons cilantro leaves and stems

cucumbers (spiralized)

carrot (spiralized)

Mince the garlic and one of the chile halves and place in a small bowl. Slice the remaining chile half into thin rings and add it to the bowl, along with the lime juice, fish sauce, lemongrass and brown sugar. Taste and adjust seasonings with additional lime juice, fish sauce, sugar, if needed. Stir well and set aside.

DRESSING:

Heat the oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Sautee the shrimp until it is cooked through and fully pink.

In a medium bowl, combine the shrimp, shallot, mint and cilantro. Stir the dressing and pour it on top. Toss gently. Serve on top of spiralized cucumber and carrots.

SHRIMP:

Perfectly seasoned, juicy shrimp layered with cream cheese and cocktail sauce is the perfect easy-to-make appetizer for impromptu get-togethers and parties. Layered Shrimp Dip has all the flavors of a classic shrimp cocktail, now made into a dip served with your favorite cracker!

block softened cream cheese

cooked, peeled, deveined shrimp, chopped into bite-size pieces

Dan-O's Original Seasoning

Dan-O's Spicy Seasoning

cocktail sauce

chives

ketchup

lemon juice

horseradish

Worcestershire sauce

pepper

hot sauce

Spread the cream cheese in a shallow serving dish. Top with 1 to 1 1/2 cup of cocktail sauce.

Sprinkle chopped shrimp with seasoning and toss to coat. Gently spoon the chopped shrimp on top of the cocktail sauce layer. Sprinkle with chopped chives and parsley.

Serve with your favorite crackers.

In a medium size bowl, place ketchup, lemon juice, horseradish, and Worcestershire sauce and stir until blended. Add salt, pepper, and hot sauce, stirring to mix well. Taste and adjust seasoning. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Tablespoons GOYA EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL

GOYA® Chorizo (thinly sliced (7 oz.))

shrimp (tails removed)

onion

red pepper (sliced)

Tablespoon GOYA® Minced Garlic

Tablespoon GOYA® Sofrito

GOYA® Adobo All-Purpose Seasoning with Pepper

GOYA® Chick Peas (drained and rinsed (15.5 oz.))

GOYA® Tomato Sauce

chicken broth

green onions (thinly sliced)

Heat oil in large skillet set over medium heat; cook chorizo for 3 to 4 minutes or until starting to brown. Add shrimp; cook for 1 minute. Transfer to plate.

In same skillet, cook onion, red pepper, garlic, sofrito and seasoning for about 3 minutes or until onion is slightly softened.

Stir in chick peas, tomato sauce and broth; bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and cook for about 10 minutes or until sauce thickens. Stir in chorizo mixture; cook for about 2 minutes or until shrimp is cooked through. Sprinkle with green onions
