This Pan-Fried Green Beans with Pancetta is a fast and easy side dish recipe. Made with only four ingredients but packed with amazing flavour.

Pan-Fried Green Beans with Bacon (Prancetta)

green beans ((400 grams))

olive oil

pancetta

shallot

garlic

salt and pepper

Boil the beans in boiling water until tender, about 10 minutes.

While the beans are boiling, in a medium/large frying pan add the oil, the bacon (pancetta), chopped shallot and garlic, cook until golden (3-5 minutes) on medium/high heat, stirring often (so it doesn&#039;t burn) until almost crispy or crispy if you prefer.

Then add the cooked drained beans, sprinkle with salt and pepper,  toss and cook for about one minute. Serve immediately.

Add green beans and cook, stirring often until the beans are blistering and browning in areas, 5 to 7 minutes. Add garlic and salt and cook, stirring constantly until the garlic is fragrant and browning, about 30 seconds. Add water and immediately cover. Cook covered until the beans are bright green and crisp tender, 1 to 2 minutes. Serve immediately.

Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the green beans and allow them to cook, undisturbed, for 2-3 minutes. Toss the beans and allow them to cook again, undisturbed, for 1-2, or until they're starting to brown on multiple sides.

Lower the heat to low, cover the skillet, and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, stirring every few minutes. When the beans are crisp-tender, stir in the garlic and saute for 20-30 seconds. Remove from heat. Season to taste with salt and serve immediately.

Easy Skillet Green Beans

green beans

red pepper flakes (optional)

garlic garlic powder

Preheat nonstick pan over medium high heat.

While the pan is heating up wash and rinse the green beans. Then, trim off the stems and any rough ends.

Once the pan is ready toss in the red pepper flakes and let them toast for just a few seconds. Then, add the green beans and cook until you see them start to char and brown in places. Usually about 8-10 minutes. Be sure and stir often. You can add 1-2 Tbsp of water or extra veggie broth if needed to prevent sticking.

Add the garlic, season with salt and pepper, stir to combine everything and let cook until the garlic begins to slightly brown. This should take less than a minute.

Pour in the low-sodium vegetable broth then cover and let cook for just a minute or two.

Serve immediately. This dish is best served when fresh. Leftover skillet green beans can be stored in the fridge for 2-3 days, but not the freezer. To reheat simply microwave or toss into skillet over medium heat.

These were the perfect addition to our first Nearly 100% WFPB Christmas.  I only have one family favorite to replace. Anyways,  It was easy to prepare and delicious.  I love how easy your directions are to follow in all of your recipes.

I have made this recipe twice and we love it. Very tasty and easy to fix.
