Set the sous vide to 145-degrees.

Vacuum seal the chicken breasts using your preferred method. 2 breasts per bag, along with salt and pepper, fresh herbs and lemon slices.

Cook for 1 hour, up to four hours.

Remove chicken breasts and pat dry with paper towels. Season with additional salt and pepper.

Preheat a cast iron skillet over high heat. Add oil and butter. Sear chicken breasts 1-minute per side, tilting skillet and spooning butter over them as they cook. Serve immediately.

Sous Vide Chicken Breast Cast Iron Finished Recipe [Sip Bite Go]

Preheat sous vide machine to 140 ºF.

While the sous vide bath preheats, season chicken breasts with garlic salt and pepper.

Vacuum-seal chicken in a flat layer and drop the bag in the sous vide bath. The time and temperature for sous vide chicken is 140ºF for 60 minutes. When done, remove the chicken from the hot water and shock the bag in an ice bath for two minutes. Remove chicken from the bag and pat dry.

Heat a cast-iron skillet to medium-high and add 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil. Sear chicken about 1-5 minutes on each side, until browned. Once done, remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes. Slice and serve.

How To Sous Vide Chicken Breast Tenders

This Sous Vide Teriyaki Chicken recipe makes super juicy and tender chicken that’s coated with an easy and delicious teriyaki sauce! The chicken is sous vide cooked in a warm water bath at a precise temperature and then tossed in the sticky, sweet and savory sauce, better than your favorite Chinese take-out!

Sous Vide Teriyaki Chicken {Super Tender & Flavorful}

½ lb chicken breasts ((boneless skinless, fresh or frozen*))

sugar

soy sauce

rice vinegar

garlic (minced)

vegetable oil

cornstarch

water

Fill a large container or pot with water. Attach the sous vide precision cooker and set the temperature to 149°F (65°C). If you’d like to try other temperatures, follow the guide in the post.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, minced garlic and oil.

Place the chicken breasts to a zip-top bag and add in the sauce.

Arrange the breasts in one single layer and then seal the bag using the “water displacement” technique: seal all but one corner of the bag, and slowly place it in cold water. Make sure everything below the zip-line is covered by water. Then seal the rest of the bag.

Place the bath in the sous vide water bath and cook for 1 hour. (Make sure the meat is fully submerged while the seams of the bag are above water.)

When the timer goes off, remove the chicken from the bag. Don’t throw away the juices.

Pat dry the chicken with paper towels and then cut them into bite-sized pieces.

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and pour in the juices from the bag.

In a small bowl, mix together cornstarch and water. Then pour the mixture into the skillet.

Stir constantly for a few minutes until the sauce is thickened.

Remove from the heat and add in chicken pieces. Toss evenly to coat the chicken. Serve warm with your favorite sides.

Sous Vide Chicken Breast Recipe

chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)

honey

lime juice

molasses

Preheat the water to 150°F.

Place everything into the bag (chicken, honey, lime juice, olive oil, molasses, and seasonings), making sure not to get any of the mixture on the top 2 inches of the bag so that you have enough room to seal it. Massage the seasoning into the chicken so that they are evenly covered, then seal the bag.

Sous vide the chicken breasts for for 1½ hours. Then, remove from the water.

Let the chicken rest in the sealed bag for 10 minutes, then remove it from the bag, slice, and enjoy!

This juicy and tender Sous-Vide Chicken Breast with Lemon and Herbs is easy to make with your sous-vide immersion cooker.

Sous Vide Chicken Breast with Lemon

chicken breast (bone-in)

rosemary

Set up your sous-vide cooker with a water bath at 145 F.

Season each chicken breast with salt and pepper to taste. Put each chicken breast in a FoodSaver bag with 2 slices of lemon and a sprig of both thyme and rosemary. Vacuum seal. OR put the ingredients in a food storage bag.

When the sous vide cooker has reached 145F add the chicken to the water bath and let it cook for between 1 1/2 to 4 hours. 

When the chicken is almost done heat a cast iron or stainless steel pan over medium high heat. Add the tablespoon of oil or butter.

Take the chicken out of the bag and throw out the lemon and herbs. Pat dry with paper towels.

Brown the chicken in the skillet for a minute or so until the chicken is nice and brown on top.

Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes or so until it is cool enough to handle.

Use your thumb to peel the chicken from the breast bone. It should come right off. Then slice the chicken diagonally and serve with lemons, capers and herbs.

These sous vide chicken tenders are seasoned to perfection, ultra juicy on the inside, and still nice and crisp on the outside!

Heat a sous vide water bath to 140°F. *see table in post above for other temperature cooking options.

Mix together the salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika and ground mustard.

Coat the chicken in the olive oil then rub the spice mixture on.

Place in a vacuum seal bag and seal.

Cook in the water bath for 2 hours.

Remove from bag (reserving bag juice) and set aside.

Combine the beaten egg with the milk and the reserved bag sauce.

Dip the chicken in the flour, then the egg mixture, then the panko breadcrumbs.

Heat the avocado oil in a large skillet for medium heat until the oil is shimmering.

Place the chicken tenders in the oil and cook until golden brown on the outside, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Remove and serve with honey mustard dipping sauce.

Mix ingredients together until well combined.

I really liked how I didn't have to worry about whether the chicken was cooked or not when frying it. Definitely using this recipe going forward.

Preheat your water bath to 145 degrees (or select temperature for desired texture).

Trim excess fat off chicken breast, pat dry and season with salt, pepper or whatever seasoning you’d like.

Place in a bag to vacuum seal or use a freezer safe plastic bags and use the water displacement method (in notes below).

Add chicken to the water bath and cook for at least 1 hour or 1-2 hours if it is a bone in chicken breast or frozen chicken breast.

Once fully cooked, remove from the water bath. If using cold or saving in fridge, place in ice bath for 10 minutes and refrigerate. If you are cooking them right away, remove from bag, drain excess liquid and pat dry.  Add desired herbs and seasonings and pan sear, broil or air fry (see notes) and serve hot.

Heat 1 Tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Reserve the sauce in the bag, and add the chicken breasts to the skillet. Sear chicken breasts 1-minute per side, tilting skillet and spooning butter over them as they cook. Set aside.

Pour the sauce into the skillet and cook until slightly thickened, 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in remaining Tablespoon butter.

Spoon the sauce over the chicken breasts and serve.

Have made this several times and love the recipe.  Even made for a large crowd at the holidays (just had 6 bags in my water).  For my family members who like some kick to theirs, I added red pepper flakes, but stuck to your recipe for the rest of us.  Is a hit with kids and adults.  I also mix breast with thighs as I too am a dark meat lover.  145 degrees is perfect for tender, juicy chicken.

I’m already a pretty good cook and have made some really stellar dinners over the years. I look for easy recipes with different flavors than my family is used to for weekly Sunday family dinner. Lately they are on a Thai/Asian kick. I am also fairly new to sous vide. That said, this was one of the best things that I have ever cooked. Truly amazing. The chicken was so succulent and the sauce is to die for. I made the sauté with sugar snap peas, mushrooms, and watercress (I used pea shoots because I couldn’t find watercress) from your baked version of this, and it was a perfect, fantastic side for the chicken. Amazing, delicious, easy recipe! Thank you so much! I wish I could post a picture because it also looked beautiful!

I love this recipe.  The chicken was cooked at 150 degrees as I had a breast and 3 thighs (have a dark meat lover) for 90 minutes and was awesome.  Perfectly cooked and taste was excellent.  I added a little ginger and garlic but it would have been excellent even without these.
