Light and refreshing, this easy Strawberry Sorbet is going to be your new favorite summer treat! Just 4 ingredients in this simple, delicious dessert!

Strawberry Sorbet

lemon juice (or lime juice)

Prepare strawberries

Rinse strawberries thoroughly and quarter. Set aside.

Make simple syrup

In a medium saucepan, bring water and sugar just to a boil over medium-high heat.

Keep stirring until sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool.

Combine

In a large bowl, combine syrup, lemon juice and prepared strawberries.

Blend ingredients

Transfer, in small batches if needed, to a blender or food processor and process until completely smooth.

Freeze sorbet

Pour the mixture into a freezer safe container and freeze overnight or for a minimum of 6 hours.

Store leftovers in freezer for up to 2 weeks.

Ninja Creami Strawberry Sorbet

Pureed Fresh Strawberries

Take 1 container of fresh strawberries and remove the tops of the strawberries.

Use a food processor to puree the strawberries.
Pour the pureed strawberries (approximately 2 cups) into the Ninja Creami pint, ensuring the liquid does not go over the max fill line.

Add 1/4 cup granulated sugar into the pint. Use a fork or whisk to stir.

Whisk in 1 tbsp whole milk, only if there is room in the pint (the mixture doesn't go above the max fill line).

Freeze the pint for 24 hours, making sure it is placed on a flat surface in the freezer.

After 24 hours, remove the pint from the freezer, and plug in your Ninja Creami machine! Time for the magic.
Remove the lid from the pint and grab the Ninja Creami outer bowl. Place the pint securely into the outer bowl and cover with the lid. Once the lid is on, place the outer bowl into the machine, twisting to the right until it locks into place. Press the "Sorbet" button and (try to) wait patiently for the creamy treat coming your way.

Once the process is finished, press and hold the button on the left side of the Creami to twist the bowl to the left and remove it from the machine. Twist the lid off of the outer bowl and remove the pint.

If the sorbet is crumbly, add a dash of whole milk into the pint and press the "Re-Spin" button.
Repeat until sorbet is the desired texture.

Now your strawberry sorbet is ready to enjoy!
