Preheat oven to 425 degrees F and cook tater tots in a 9x13 dish until golden brown according to package instructions.

Meanwhile, cook sausage with pepper, mushrooms, and onion in a large saute pan over medium heat until crumbly, about 20 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and ground mustard. Add cooked sausage mixture as well as half the cheese. Stir to combine.

To bake, reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F.

Pour egg and sausage mixture over tater tots and top with remaining cheese. Cover with aluminium foil and cook for 40-45 minutes until eggs have set, allowing casserole to cook uncovered for last 5-10 minutes so that the top turns golden brown. Serve hot.

Very kid-friendly, this is a classic tater tot casserole. With one pound of ground meat and a few other ingredients, you can easily feed a family. Switch up the veggies with what you prefer. We opted for ground beef, but ground turkey would be great too. The soup mixture adds a creaminess that mixes with the tater tots. A weeknight meal that's perfect for a busy parent. If there is any left at the end of the meal, it heats up well for leftovers the next day.

Preheat oven to 425º. In a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil.  Add onions and cook until softened,&nbsp;3 minutes, then add garlic and cook until fragrant, 1 minute more. Season with salt and pepper.&nbsp;

Add ground beef and break up with a wooden spoon. Cook until no pink remains, 6 minutes.&nbsp;Drain fat from skillet and return to heat.

Add cayenne and flour and stir for 1 minute. Pour in broth, then bring to a boil and simmer for 2 minutes. Fold in 1 cup cheese, peas, and corn.

Transfer meat mixture to a&nbsp;9"-x-13" baking dish. Top with remaining 1 cup&nbsp;cheese and scatter tater tots and bacon in a single layer over the beef filling. Bake until cheese is melted and&nbsp;tots are golden, 27 to 30 minutes.

Let rest for 2 to 3 minutes and&nbsp;garnish with scallions before serving.

Heat oven to 425 degrees F.

In a large saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat, add the yellow onion and cook until the onions are tender. Stir in flour, salt, pepper. Stir in broth and milk and cook until thick, smooth and bubbly.

Add Chicken, mixed vegetables and stir. Turn off heat and remove from stove top. Spoon the chicken-vegetable mixture evenly into the pie crusts. Top with tater tots in neat rows (I like the circular design). Add the optional shredded cheese to the top.

Bake in a 425 degree preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes until tater tots and crust is golden brown. If needed, in the last 15 to 20 minutes cover the crust edge in aluminum foil to prevent over browning or burning. When the casserole is done baking, allow to stand for 5 minutes before serving, enjoy!
