Mexican Tater Tot Casserole

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

Lightly coat a baking dish with non-stick spray, preferably Olive Oil.

Arrange all the tater tots in the pan and bake for ten minutes.

Remove the tots from the oven and set them aside.

Step 5

Brown the ground beef, drain the excess fat.

Step 6

Stir in taco seasoning, 1/3 cup water, and 1 cup of salsa. Mix thoroughly.

Step 7

Take half of the tater tots out of the pan, leaving a single row to cover the bottom.

Step 8

Layer the meat mixture on top of the tots.

Step 9

Sprinkle half of the cheese over the meat.

Step 10

Place the remaining tots on top.

Step 11

Finish by adding the remaining cup of cheese.

Step 12
