These Turkey Burgers are juicy, flavorful and so easy to make. Cook these homemade turkey burgers on the grill, on the stove or in the oven. Then load them up with your favorite toppings and devour!

Turkey Burger Recipe

egg (lightly beaten)

onion

parsley

garlic (minced)

Worcestershire sauce (optional)

salt

burger buns, lettuce, tomato, red onion, avocado

Place egg, onion, parsley, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Mix with a fork to combine.

Add the ground turkey to the bowl and mix gently with the fork until just combined, being careful to not overwork the meat.

Divide the turkey mixture into 4 equal parts and shape into patties that are about 1/2-inch thick. (See the trick in the post above for an easy way to shape round patties.) Use your thumb to make an indentation in the center of each patty to keep the burgers from doming up in the center.

Freeze turkey burger patties for 20 minutes to help them hold together on the grill.

Meanwhile, heat an outdoor grill with clean grill grates to medium-high heat. Oil the grill grates well to keep the burgers from sticking.

Cook burgers about 5 minutes per side until cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F. Do not flip the burgers too early when cooking on the first side or they may fall apart.

To Cook Turkey Burgers on the Grill:

Heat a grill pan or skillet, such as a cast iron skillet, over medium heat. Add about 1 tablespoon of oil to the pan and spread it around.

When the pan is hot, place the turkey burger patties in the pan. Cook about 5 minutes per side, until cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F. The burgers should release fairly easily from the pan when they are ready to flip to the second side.

To Cook Turkey Burgers on the Stove:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and place turkey burger patties on the pan.

Bake for about 20 minutes, flipping once after 10 minutes. Turkey burgers are done when they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.

Condiments: ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, BBQ sauce

Toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, avocado

Mix together:  To a mixing bowl add turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper, egg and breadcrumbs. Using a fork, mix together—try not to mix it too much.

Shape into 4 patties about ½ inch thick— they will be really moist.

Use your thumb to make a depression in the center of each patty. If grilling, place the patties on a parchment lined plate and freeze for 20 minutes.

Skillet: Heat the canola oil in a nonstick griddle or large nonstick frying pan over medium-high heat. (Or spray generously with non-stick cooking spray). Once hot, cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side.

Grill: Freeze the patties for 20 minutes before grilling (this will help the hold their shape.) Grill for a few minutes on each side, until cooked through.

Oven: Bake at 375 F for 25-30 minutes. Then sear on a hot pan for 2 minutes on each side.

Serve on buns, with the condiments of your choice.

Place turkey into a large bowl with egg, salt, pepper, parsley, poultry seasoning and milk. Stir to combine. {Mixture may seem a little wet, but once it starts cooking, the egg will help hold it's shape together.}

Preheat indoor griddle to medium-medium high heat.

Divide meat into 4 even patties. Cut butter into skinny half tablespoon pats. Press butter into the center of each patty forming the meat around it.

Spray griddle pan with nonstick cooking spray and place each burger down onto the griddle. Cook about 4 minutes per side or until browned and completely cooked. Feel free to melt cheese on top of each burger. {Place cheese onto cooked side of the burger and cover with a large pot lid or foil for 1 minute to melt cheese.}

Remove burgers and place onto buns. Top with any desired toppings and condiments and serve.

Juicy Turkey Burgers {5 Ingredients}

lb turkey

zucchini (about 1 medium)

garlic (grated)

tsp cumin

In large mixing bowl, add ground turkey, zucchini, garlic, cumin, salt and pepper. Using your hands, mix well.

Form 6 large turkey burger patties about a size of a medium hand. Flatten them as burgers "jump up" while cooking. Use wet hands to help with stickiness issue. I usually form patties as I am waiting for skillet to get hot and as I go.

Stovetop: Preheat medium ceramic non-stick skillet on low-medium heat. It's important to cook turkey burgers low and slow so they get cooked through and do not fall apart (they won't). Add about 1.5 tbsp of oil to the skillet and swirl around. Place 3 patties in the skillet and cook for 5 minutes per side, flipping once. Repeat with remaining oil and burgers.

Grill: If grilling, freeze burgers for 10 minutes prior. Helps to hold their shape. Preheat grill on medium and spray with cooking spray. Spray turkey patties on both sides with cooking spray, place on a grill and cook for 6-8 minutes flipping once. Grills vary, so check your burger for doneness by inserting a food thermometer into the center of the patty. You are looking for 165 degrees = done.

Serve hot and right away is the best. Burgers are the most juicy this way. Serve traditional way on a whole grain or thin multigrain bun with all the fixins. Or serve "naked" with mashed avocado (guacamole) and store-bought salsa. Or on a bed of greens. Sky is the limit.

Preheat grill to medium high heat, approximately 375-400 degrees F.

In a large bowl add ground turkey, almond flour, dried parsley, red onion, garlic and black pepper.

Using your hands, mix everything together. Form into 6-8 patties.

Place burgers on grill and grill each side for 4-6 minutes. Burgers are done when internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. (poultry should never be served under this)

Place sliced buns on the grill and lightly toast until warm and slightly charred.

The Ultimate Turkey Burger! Made with everyday ingredients and they taste just as good as a beefy hamburger! They take less than 10 minutes prep and 10 minutes cook time, meaning you can have dinner ready in 20 minutes, talk about must have recipe!

Tbsp breadcrumbs

tsp salt, (or as desired)

tsp (heaping) garlic powder

tsp (heaping) onion powder

Tbsp light mayonnaise

Add ground turkey to a medium mixing bowl. Sprinkle in breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Add mayonnaise and drizzle in Worcestershire sauce.

Gently toss and break up meat mixture to evenly blend. Divide into 4 equal portions and shape into patties about 1/2-inch thick.

Preheat olive oil in a 12-inch non-stick skillet over medium-high heat for a few minutes.&nbsp;

Add turkey patties and sear until golden brown on bottom, about 4 - 5 minutes, flip and continue to cook until cooked through, about 4 - 5 minutes longer. Center should register 165 degrees on an instant read thermometer.&nbsp;

Mix all the ingredients for the turkey burger patties together in a large bowl.

Spray a large skillet or griddle with non-stick cooking spray over medium heat. You can also spray your hands with cooking spray or wet them slightly with water so the turkey mixture won&#8217;t stick to your hands when you&#8217;re forming the patties.

Form the turkey mixture into 6 patties, about 5 ounces each. You can make smaller patties, about 4 ounces each and get 8 turkey burgers.

Place the patties onto the hot skillet and cook for 5 minutes on each side, until no longer pink in the center. During the last minute of cooking on the second side, add the cheese to melt.

Transfer the turkey burgers onto a plate covered with foil and repeat with the remaining patties.

Serve the turkey burgers topped with warm BBQ sauce and bacon 2 slices each.

Hawaiian Teriyaki Burgers. Moist, juicy chicken or turkey burgers topped with a sweet and tangy teriyaki burger sauce, grilled pineapple, and onion.

Teriyaki Burgers with Grilled Pineapple

Prepare the teriyaki sauce: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the reserved 1/4 cup pineapple juice, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, and ginger. Cover and bring to a boil. Once boiling, remove the lid and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. While you wait for the sauce to boil, whisk the cornstarch and 1 tablespoon water together in a small bowl to create a slurry. Once the sauce is boiling, add the slurry, then stir to combine. Cook for 1 additional minute, until the sauce begins to thicken. Remove from heat.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, panko, garlic, ginger, black pepper, cilantro, and 3 tablespoons teriyaki sauce. Mix just until combined, and be careful not to compact the meat. Shape into four 3/4-inch-thick patties. Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Set aside some of the remaining teriyaki sauce for serving, reserving the rest for grilling. Preheat the grill to medium high and lightly oil the grates. Grill the rings of pineapple and red onion slices until caramelized and tender, about 3 minutes per side for the pineapple and 4 minutes for the red onion. Grill the burgers for 4 minutes on the first side, flip, then brush with  sauce. Grill 4 minutes, then flip again and brush the other side with sauce. Continue cooking until the burgers are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 160 to 165 degrees F, about 10 minutes total. Remove to a plate, cover, and let rest 5 minutes. If desired, grill the buns.

Serve the burgers inside of the buns, brushed with reserved sauce and topped with grilled pineapple and red onion.

My trick to making the juiciest turkey burgers EVER is by adding grated zucchini! A huge bonus if you want your kids to eat more veggies – they'll never know!

Turkey Burgers with Zucchini

oz grated zucchini (when squeezed 4.25 oz)

93% turkey

breadcrumbs

tbsp grated red onion

tsp kosher salt and fresh pepper

Squeeze ALL the moisture from the zucchini with paper towels. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, zucchini, breadcrumbs, garlic, onion, salt and pepper. Make 5 equal patties, 4 ounces each, not too thick so they cook in the center.

STOVE: Heat a large nonstick skillet on high heat. When hot, lightly spray oil. Add burgers to the pan and reduce the heat to low. Cook on one side until browned, then flip. Flip over a few times to prevent burning and to make sure the burgers are cooked all the way through.

If grilling: Clean grill well before cooking and spray with oil spray to prevent sticking. Cook the burgers on medium heat about 5 minutes on each side, or until no longer pink in the center.

Squeeze out all the moisture well from the zucchini using paper towels.

In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, zucchini, breadcrumbs, garlic, onion, salt and pepper. Make 5 equal patties, 4 ounces each, 1/2 inch thick.

Preheat the air fryer to 370F.

Cook in a single layer in two batches 10 minutes, turning half way until browned and cooked through in the center.
