You're going to love this delicious creamy tahini dressing recipe! It's simple to make, full of nutritious ingredients and goes with everything. Recipe yields about 3/4 cup.

Creamy Tahini Dressing

olive oil

tahini

lemon juice,

Dijon mustard

maple syrup

fine sea salt

black pepper,

water,

In a liquid measuring cup or jar, combine the olive oil, tahini, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, mustard, maple syrup, salt, and several twists of black pepper. Whisk until thoroughly blended.

Add the cold water, and whisk again. The dressing should become remarkably creamy. Taste, and add more lemon juice (for zing) and pepper, if desired. If your dressing is too thick to drizzle, whisk in more cold water, 1 tablespoon at a time. Serve!

This dressing will keep well in the refrigerator, covered, for about 1 week. It may thicken with time; simply thin it with a little more cool water as needed.

I love this dressing. I use it on salads or to dress canned beans. I have made it with half the oil or oil free altogether and it is just as good as the original recipe.

I leave out the sweet honey/maple syrup because I don't like sweet..  Add a little nutritional yeast!  This is a very good recipe.

Thanks for the suggestion of nutritional yeast as I was looking for a lower carb variation on this recipe.

I love this dressing! I found the amount of Dijon to be a bit too strong (for me) so I added a generous squeeze of juice from 1/4 of an orange, right at the end. This yummy dressing topped my haloumi Buddha bowl with roast cauliflower, pumpkin and zucchini. Thanks for the fab recipe!

Thanks for this - it has become our go-to dressing (for just about everything) since we changed our diet to just this side of vegan. 
We substitute a 1/8th of a teaspoon of stevia for the honey. We also double the amount of lemon juice. This is definitely a “to taste” recipe. Brilliant!

I love this recipe, thank you! I make oven roasted veggie power bowls and use this as a dressing so they aren't too dry. The power bowls have broccoli, onions, garlic, grape tomatoes, cauliflower, asparagus, turnip and sweet potatoes. I add a jammy egg for protein and drizzle this dressing over the top.

I tried it and didn't care for it (I think only because I didn't care for the aftertaste of my olive oil AND tahini, something tasted rancid or bitter to me) but hubbie liked it. I will taste both the olive oil and tahini BEFOREhand  next time. I used maple flavored monk fruit syrup instead of maple syrup because were are on a VERY low carb diet, trying to get to ketogenic.   Thank you so much for the recipe, I'm sure if I had better oil and tahini that I would like it better. I will try it again.

WFPB Vegan Caesar Salad Dressing

tbsp organic tahini paste ((can be replaced with cashew or walnut butter))

tbsp dijon mustard

garlic (-grated (large))

yeast

tbsp tamari

lemon

water

capers

red pepper flakes

romaine lettuce ((or a mix of dark leafy greens))

Whisk together the tahini with the mustard, garlic, tamari, lemon juice and nutritional yeast until smooth. Start pouring in the water and continue whisking until the dressing is thinned out to your liking.&nbsp;

Add the red chili and capers, taste and adjust seasonings with sea salt and more lemon juice If needed.

Pour the Caesar dressing over the romaine leaves and toss to coat well. Serve promptly with homemade garlic bruschetta. 

The dressing is fully compliant, however if you are going to make the garlic bruschetta you must omit brushing it with olive oil.

I just made this and it's really good! The tahini makes the dressing taste really savory. I've been adding it to a bowl of crispy romaine lettuce and quinoa. I add tofu or beans for some protein and the tahini dressing goes so well with it. For sure creamy and it stays that way and doesn't separate. Thanks for the great recipe :)

A delicious recipe for Creamy Vegan Ranch Dressing that can be made without oil!  Low calorie &amp; made with silken tofu. Dairy-free, Nut-free, Gluten-Free and ZERO Cholesterol! Perfect for salads, wraps, bowls or as a veggie dip!

Creamy Vegan Ranch Dressing 

silken tofu

garlic

onion powder (or a couple slices white onion)

salt

apple cider or sherry vinegar

nutritional yeast (optional)

peppercorns (or stir these in at the end)

Place ingredients in a blender and add a little water or olive oil to get the blender going. Scrape down sides as necessary.

Taste. For extra richness or creaminess, add more olive oil.  Add any extras that you like- see notes.

Store in a jar in the fridge for 7-10 days.

This recipe is surprisingly good.  There is no tofu taste, and since I love garlic I put four cloves in.  I also used dried chives rather than parsley or oregano.  Thank you!!  I used NO oil and the extra two tablespoons of water.  I also cut the salt in half.  Thank you!!!

This is delicious! Will definitely be a staple in our home. I’m wondering about the nutrition info. Yours says it’s 2T and 8 servings, but when I made it I got about 16 2 T servings.

Made this with my own ranch seasoning but the tofu-water-oil-vinegar ratio gave it the perfect consistency and tang, and I happy to report it froze wonderfully, just a quick stir when thawed! This will be my go-to for tofu when it’s got to be used or go bad.

This broccoli salad recipe is my favorite easy vegan cookout side dish! It’s delicious, healthy, naturally gluten-free, and topped with a light dairy-free yogurt dressing (contains no mayo and no refined sugar). Perfect for lunch, dinner or any time you need some vitamins in your life!

Best Vegan Broccoli Salad

broccoli florets (roughly chopped (see photos above))

red onion (finely chopped)

dried cranberries (or dried tart cherries

vegan cheese shreds (optional)

⅓ cup non-dairy yogurt (*see notes)

tbsp lemon or lime juice (or apple cider vinegar)

tbsp dijon mustard (optional)

maple syrup (or to taste)

¼ tsp sea salt (or

¼ tsp smoked paprika (optional

mixed seeds (e.g. pepitas, sunflower seeds, toasted soy seeds)

nuts (e.g. cashews, almonds

Chop the broccoli florets into ½-inch pieces and any finely dice the remaining stems, peeling any woody or course parts from the stem as needed. Add the chopped broccoli, onion, cranberries, and vegan cheese (if using) to a serving bowl. Set aside.

To make the dressing, whisk together the non-dairy yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, mustard (if using), maple syrup, and sea salt in a small bowl. Pour the dressing over the salad, sprinkle with paprika powder as desired and stir until all of the broccoli is lightly coated in dressing. (I highly recommend letting the salad marinate for at least 20 minutes, or overnight in the refrigerator).

Toast the seeds &amp; nuts (optional): Toast the seeds and nuts in a skillet over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the seeds are turning golden, about 3 minutes (be careful as they burn quickly!). Then transfer the toasted seeds into a large serving bowl and set aside. (Alternatively, bake the seeds 10 minutes at 392°F/200°C or until golden brown).

Divide the salad into bowls and sprinkle the toasted nuts and seeds on top.

Add balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic, salt, and pepper to a blender. Mix on high until smooth, then lower the speed and slowly add the olive oil.

Taste and adjust measurements — balsamic vinegar for more punch, maple to balance the tang, or garlic for zestiness. We like to thin ours with some water, but this is optional.
