This vegan eggnog is a dairy free twist on the classic holiday beverage! Ready in seconds and perfect with or without alcohol! 

Vegan Eggnog

Almond Milk (the refrigerated variety)

Light Coconut Milk

Medjool Dates (pitted)

Cashews (Raw)

tsp Cinnamon

tsp Nutmeg

seed Vanilla Pod

tsp Ground Cloves

Sea Salt

Bourbon (optional)

In a high powered blender such as a Vitamix, combine all the above ingredients. Blend on high until your Vegan Eggnog is perfectly smooth and creamy.

Strain through a fine meshed sieve if you fancy an extra smooth and silky beverage.

Keep chilled, in an airtight bottle for up to 1 week.

Eggnog is the official beverage of December. It's rare to encounter it any other time, and truly is Christmas spirit in a cup. Here's a vegan version based on cashews and dates.

Creamy Veggnog (Vegan Eggnog)

soaked cashews

soaked dates in 1 cup water

almond milk

maple syrup

tsp nutmeg +

vanilla bean paste (or extract)

sea salt

Combine all ingredients in a blender (including the water you soaked the dates in) and blend until smooth and frothy. This can take a few minutes in an older blender.

Transfer to a container and chill in the refrigerator until needed.

When ready to serve, place back into blender to allow more frothing because mixture can separate. Pour into mugs and garnish with fresh grated nutmeg.

Easy Homemade Vegan Eggnog

soy milk (or any plant-based milk you want)

sugar

canola oil oil (optional to make it creamier))

vanilla

nutmeg

cinnamon ((optional))

Pour 3 cups milk, 2/3 cup sugar (or less to taste), 1 tbsp oil, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, and a dash of cinnamon into a blender.

Blend for about 1-2 minutes until it’s foamy, and all the sugar has dissolved.

Serve in a pretty glass with a sprinkle of nutmeg!

This eggnog is ultra creamy and rich, thick, sweet, and lightly spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg. Serve chilled, or warmed as a vegan eggnog latte.

Easy Vegan Eggnog

almonds (soaked overnight)

raw cashews (soaked overnight)

coconut flakes (soaked overnight)

water

cinnamon

tsp nutmeg

tsp sea salt

medjool dates (pits removed)

bourbon ((optional))

Soak almonds, raw cashews and coconut flakes overnight. Or to speed up time, pour boiling water over bowl of mixed nuts and let soak for 1-2 hours. Strain and rise. Add soaked nut mix to blender with water, cinnamon, nutmeg, sea salt and dates. Blend on high for 1 minute.

Pour mixture into a nut milk bag and squeeze to strain the milk. (Alternatively you can use a thin tea towel, old t-shirt or pair of tights). Continue to squeeze, moving your hands around the bag to allow new areas to be milked, until you can no longer milk anymore liquid.

Pour the freshly squeezed egg nog from your bowl back into your blender (this allows for easy transfer into a bottle). Transfer the egg nog into an air tight bottle and store in the fridge. Serve chilled, or warm for a latte style drink. Optional to add a splash of dark liquor (bourbon, brandy or cognac) for a spiked version.

Vegan Egg Nog

Deliciously creamy vegan oat milk egg nog - absolutely dreamy and the ultimate drink to get you into a Christmas mood.

Vegan Oat Milk Eggnog

raw cashews (70 g)

oat milk (400 ml)

maple syrup (45 ml)

vanilla powder

cloves

non-alcoholic rum (60 ml) (optional)

Soak the cashews: In a small bowl cover the cashews with boiling water and set them aside to soak for 20 minutes.

Add to blender: Add all ingredients (apart from the non-alcoholic rum) to a high-speed blender - alongside the fast-soaked cashews - and blend on high for about 5 minutes until the cashews are completely incorporated.

Strain: Use a fine mesh (or ideally a nut-milk bag) to strain the nut pulp from the smooth &amp; creamy eggnog.

Stir in the rum: Stir in the non-alcoholic rum last. (optional)

Serving: Serve hot or cold, with a sprinkle of cinnamon over the top or keep refrigerated for up to a week.

Creamy Vegan Oat Milk Eggnog Recipe

Easy Vegan Eggnog Porridge recipe - without the booze of course! Topped with a delicious layer  of cinnamon and maple syrup for sweetness. Simply dreamy and delicious!

Vegan Eggnog Porridge (without alcohol) 

porridge oats (make it gluten free if needed!)

Tbsp raw cashews

clove

plant milk

Place the raw cashews in a bowl and cover with boiling water. Set aside for 20 minutes, then drain and rinse.

Into a medium size sauce pan add the oats, cinnamon and nutmeg, stir to combine and set aside.

In a high-speed blender combine the cashews, vanilla powder, ground clove, maple syrup and plant milk until smooth.

Pour the liquid into the saucepan with the oats - ideally filtering through a tight sieve. You can of course omit the sieve if you don't mind having small bits of cashew nut in your porridge (might give  it a great texture!)

Heat on low/medium heat and stir continuously until the porridge thickens. If it gets too dry, simply add a little more plant milk at a time.

(Optional) Serve topped with more cinnamon &amp; a little maple syrup &amp; enjoy!
