This turmeric latte is perfect for those of you that want a healthy alternative to coffee. We love it because is so delicious, healthy and creamy.

Turmeric Latte

milk

turmeric powder

tsp cinnamon

tbsp maple or agave syrup

Pour the milk into a saucepan and cook over high heat until it&#8217;s hot, but don&#8217;t bring it to a boil.

Remove from the heat, add all the remaining ingredients, and stir until well combined. I used a milk frother to get a better texture, but it&#8217;s optional. You can also blend the hot milk with the rest of the ingredients in a blender if you want.

Serve immediately or keep the leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days. Reheat on the stovetop or microwave until warm enough.

Awesome.  Been wanting to make this since I was diagnosed with RA.  I bought fresh spice.  Had not been a tumeric fan but the fresh spice was totally different from what I had bought at the super market.  Used my oat milk and my Nespresso frother which was great for not only getting the spice mixed but for heating and frothing.  I absolutely loved it! Lavender Latte

sugar

water

lavender buds

In a small saucepan, combine sugar, water and lavender. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for about 5 minutes or until sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Strain syrup through a fine mesh strainer into a jar to remove lavender buds and set aside.

To make the latte, add 1 tablespoon simple syrup to a coffee cup. Fill with coffee to desired level and stir. Top with frothy oat milk.

Vegan Turmeric Latte

200 ml plant mllk

maple syrup or agave syrup to taste (optional)

Add the turmeric, pepper, cinnamon, and ginger to a non-stick saucepan and turn on the stove on low heat. Allow for the spices to toast for a minute or two without burning them until they become fragrant.

Add the plant milk and stir with a whisk. Rub the saffron between your fingers and add them to the mix.

Continue to stir whilst your vegan turmeric latte heats to your desired temperature, make sure not to let it come to a boil.

Once achieved your desired temperature, simply drain through a small sieve right into your cup. Sprinkle some cinnamon on the top and enjoy warm.

This 4-ingredient homemade hojicha latte can be made hot or iced, full of earthy and caramel flavors.

Hot or Iced Hojicha Latte - Roasted Green Tea Drink

tsp vanilla extract

maple syrup (or more to taste)

oat milk (or other plant milk)

ice cubes

cinnamon

In a small mug, mix the hojicha powder (see Notes for instructions on how to prepare this if you are using loose leaf hojicha) with boiled water until no clumps remain.

Add the vanilla extract and liquid sweetener. Stir well.

Heat the oat milk in a small saucepan or microwave until steam rises from the pan/bowl. Don&#39;t boil.

Use a handheld milk frother to froth the milk. You can also froth it by whisking it by hand (using a metal whisk) or quickly blending it in a blender.

To serve, pour the frothed hot milk on top of your hojicha mixture.

Sprinkle with ground cinnamon (optional). Stir and enjoy!

Hot Hojicha Latte

In a small mug, mix the hojicha powder (see Notes for instructions on how to prepare this if you are using loose leaf hojicha) with boiled water until to clumps remain.

Add the vanilla extract and liquid sweetener. Stir well and set aside to cool.

Fill a glass with ice cubes, then add cold oat milk. 

Pour the hojicha mixture on top, stir, and enjoy! Add a sprinkle of ground cinnamon if desired.

Iced Hojicha Latte

Creamy salted caramel latte prepared with espresso, plant-based milk, and homemade caramel sauce! A warming and easy-to-make treat to enjoy on chilly afternoons!

Homemade Caramel Latte (Dairy-Free!)

butter

full-fat coconut milk

(add

1 and 1/2 tbsp salted caramel (adjust to taste)

espresso (or cold brew)

plant-based milk

Add the sugar and water to a saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring regularly using a wooden spatula until the sugar melts (at first it will form clumps, that is normal). Keep heating over medium heat until the sugar turns into a golden brown color. Note: Be careful not to burn the caramel or it will turn bitter.

Once the caramel is golden brown, immediately add the vegan butter and stir to combine. The caramel will bubble so be careful not to burn yourself. Keep stirring until the butter is fully combined with the caramel.

Next, pour in the full-fat coconut milk and let simmer over low-medium heat for another 1 minute, stirring constantly, until the caramel is smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt. Let cool for a few minutes before using. You should end up with about 1/2 cup of salted caramel sauce.

Salted Caramel

To make the caramel latte: add 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of salted caramel to a glass. Pour in the hot espresso and stir until the caramel has dissolved and is fully combined with the coffee. Pour in the unsweetened plant-based milk and enjoy!

You can also top your latte with vegan whipped cream and drizzle extra caramel sauce on top!

500 mL of Chilled Coconut

Dice peeled purple yams into large chunks.

In a pot, boil vegan milk with ube chunks for 5 minutes until it turns purple. Then, remove the chunks, keeping them for other ube recipes.

Pour a bit of ube latte into a jar and foam it with a frother.

Divide the latte among mugs and top it with the prepared foam.
