Step 1

Thinly slice the apple into 1/8-inch thick slices (no need to peel beforehand). Discard any seeds. Place the apple slices side-by-side on paper towels.

Step 2

Evenly sprinkle cinnamon over the surface of the apple slices.

Step 3

Add apple slices to the air fryer basket. They will overlap; spread them out as much as possible.

Step 4

Air fry at 300 F for 25 minutes or until nearly crispy, tossing or stirring every 5 minutes. No need to preheat.

Step 5

Spread out apple chips on paper towels to cool completely, as they will crisp up even more during the cooling process. Serve immediately.
