Step 1

Preheat the air fryer at 390 °F.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, mix the mushrooms with olive oil, garlic powder, salt and serrano pepper.

Step 3

Place the mushrooms in the preheated air fryer and cook for 7 minutes.

Step 4

Add spinach and and air fry for 3 minutes at 390°F.

Step 5

Mix well and then transfer to a bowl. Clean the air fryer to cook turnovers.

Step 6

Thaw the frozen puff pastry sheet as per directions on the package.

Step 7

Gently roll it a little on a floured surface and divide it into 6 parts.

Step 8

Divide the mushroom spinach mixture into 6 parts.

Step 9

On a lightly floured surface, roll one pastry sheet piece into a square.

Step 10

Fill the spinach mixture and some grated cheese keeping a 1 cm distance from the edges.

Step 11

Apply water to the edges with the basting brush.

Step 12

Make a triangle-shaped puff pastry by folding it along the diagonal.

Step 13

Press the edges with the fork and seal well.

Step 14

Preheat the air fryer to 390°F.

Step 15

Refrigerate the stuffed pastries while the air fryer is preheating.

Step 16

Place the puff pastry in the air fryer and cook for 7 minutes at 390°F.

Step 17

Work in batches if needed for the remaining pastry dough slices.
