Step 1
Whisk together the butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir in the sifted flour, bicarbonate soda and cinnamon. Fold in the chocolate, dried fruits and walnuts.
Step 2
Spoon the mixture into a greased and lined 28 Ă 18cm pan. Bake in a moderately slow oven 160C for 50-60 minutes until just firm. Allow to cool completely in the pan before slicing. Store in an airtight container until required
