Step 1
In a saucepan, bring 1 bottle hot pepper sauce, 1/2 cup butter, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, onion powder, and garlic powder to a boil. Once boiling, turn the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Place the chicken wings in a slow cooker and cover with sauce mixture. Cook wings on high for two hours, and then on low for an additional two hours.
Step 3
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease several baking sheets.
Step 4
Transfer the wings to prepared baking sheets and cook for half an hour.
Step 5
While the wings are baking, melt 1/2 cup of butter and 1 bottle of hot sauce in a pan. Simmer for about 20 minutes, or until thickened. Brush this sauce on the wings right before serving.
