Step 1
Marinate the chicken with 2 tbsp of soy sauce, 2.5 tbsp of minced garlic, salt, and pepper for 20 minutes.
Step 2
Add in corn starch, egg, and ice-cold soda water to the marinated chicken wings. Mix and let it rest for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Coat the chicken in tapioca starch, and let it rest for another 5 minutes.
Step 4
In a pan, add oil to fry. Once the oil is hot, add in the chicken wings and fry for 4-5 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown and crispy.

OPTIONAL: turn the heat up to high, and double fry for another 1 minute to make it extra crispy!

Add in corn starch, egg, and ice-cold soda water to the marinated chicken wings. Mix and let it rest for *20 minutes*
Step 7
Coat the chicken in tapioca starch, and let it rest for another 5 minutes.
Step 8
Preheat the air-fryer to 350F for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, spray the air fryer to prevent the chicken from sticking, and add in the chicken.
Step 9
Spray some oil on top of the chicken (optional), and fry at 350F for 15 minutes.
Step 10
In a pot, add in butter, 3 tbsp of minced garlic, 3.5 tbsp of honey, and 2.5 tbsp of soy sauce, let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Step 11
If you want a thinner consistency, add hot water and let it simmer until your desired consistency.
Step 12
Toss chicken wings with glaze, garnish with green onion and sesame seeds. ENJOY!
