Step 1
Place the ground beef in a bowl. Then add the remaining ingredients. Lightly fold the spices into the meat until evenly combined. Do not over mix.

Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal patties and form each one into a burger, being sure to indent the top center of each burger.
Step 3
Wrap each burger in foil or parchment paper, being sure to seal all sides.
Step 4
Place 1 1/2 cups of water in the bottom of the Instant Pot. Then place the trivet in the water. Stack the wrapped burgers on top of the the trivet, stacking the top layer in the opposite direction as the bottom packets. Then place the lid on the pot and set the valve to the Sealing position.
Step 5
Pressure Cook/Manual for 12 minutes on HIGH pressure for burgers that are medium-well done. Decrease the time for more rare burgers or increase time for well-done burgers.
Step 6
When the cook time is up, move the knob to the venting position to Quick Release the pressure.
Step 7
Open the lid and carefully remove the packets from the pot using tongs or a spatula to a plate and let them rest in the sealed packet for 5 minutes. Then carefully unwrap only the top of each packet and remove the burgers.
